Indian Go!
Episode 71

                                ***

Indi still can't believe that he ever had an interest in the man. He knows that attraction is not just a game of emotion. He really has more sympathy for her.

He thought he understood a little about what he had felt. Even if he knew that man was not a good man. But this time, Indi had made up his mind. He can't forgive the man who was responsible for the incident just now.

“Indi, are you okay\-well?” Catherine asked a little worriedly, looking at Indi's look.

Indi lowered his head, looking right to shift his expression, from Catherine's gaze. He really wanted to say he was okay, but he couldn't. His mind seemed to rebel with the decision he was about to make.

His memory was carried away on some past events. He remembered the smile of the man. He remembered the man, sitting next to him, and gave him a bottle of water.

He is one of the many Indigos who have had a lot of grief in his life.

Jeannet's words about him, clearly ringing in his head.

His little heart really wanted to help the man. Help him to eliminate all his sadness in the past. He really cares about that guy. A touch made Indi aware of all his thoughts.

In front of her, Catherine was now looking at him worriedly. His two hands then stroked Indi's cheeks gently. A sweet smile adorned on her mottled brown face.

“Do not hurt yourself. It's not all just about you,” he said gently.

Indi looked at Catherine. I want her to return Catherine's best smile. But he could not, even if he had forced it.

“You know, you don't have to continue this journey. I'm gonna find Fanny. You can rest here,” Catherine suggested.

Indi felt clear spots that began to glare in his eyes. Stupidhead! Why should I drown in this feeling now! I've managed to keep it all this time, Inner Indi.

Indi shook his head, “I'm coming with you. I'm fine,” Indi is well aware that he has lied to Catherine by saying that, but he has decided, and this time he should not hesitate.

The two girls walked several kilometers, down a stretch of pine trees, which could somehow grow so towering. The height intended here is the height that exceeds the high capacity of a normal pine tree.

In view of the establishment of the sun on the horizon, making Indi aware, if soon the dark sky will appear. Indi never knew what the worst possibility could be when he was in a pine forest at night. But his last experience in the forest, obviously made him not want to linger to settle down.

Indi heard the howling of the dog. It definitely made the fur stand up. He thought about his mother, and the Liona they live in UCI. Are they okay? Thought Indi was worried. His mind had not stopped wandering, while his emotions were still trying to thrash. The sound of the clanking of daggers then echoed nearby. Sparks of sparks were seen from Catherine's dagger which now collided with the bronze sword blade.

Behind the orange light falling among the trees, Indi could see the silhouette of a person's face.

“I'm glad to see you again Indi,” said the voice.

Slowly the source of the voice stepped closer to them.

Now Indi can see his face clearly. The glint of his eyes was still the same as Indi remembered. Similarly with dimples, which decorate his smile. He wore a black, turtle neck shirt, with brown trousers. Her hair began to grow long, from the last memory of Indi. In his right hand the blade of his sword glistened under the light.

“I was expecting that you would do this. Your mind is too shallow, Catherine. Although I have to admit your prowess for successfully defeating Lisa, and my trap,” her smile is still the same, but the aura that Rico is currently emitting is completely\-different. Indi could feel the thickness surrounding Rico.

Catherine stood on standby. Both of his hands were now holding daggers. His gaze was so wary of what he saw.

“You already know about the prophecy, but you still stick to what is temporary,” Catherine said. Indi could feel the pressure on every word Catherine spoke, though she still could not understand what it was maxed out for.

Rico smiled wryly. His eyes are now changing. So too with his aura. Hatreds. I can feel such deep hatred, inner Indi, follow the feeling of worry.

“You don't have to tell me. I understand much more about it. That's why I'm standing here. I'll change it. Slowly but surely, there will be no more hatred. We will live in harmony, not oppression. You know it's Catherine. Didn't you tell me yourself. You hate them. Remember who threw you away? Do you remember the ideals\-idea that you loudly shouted at me?” said Rico who was now starting to walk up to Catherine.

“Stop all that Rico! You've been so long harboring all the bitter flavors. You should realize that no one will benefit from your decision. I know you hate your past so much, and I don't ask you to forgive everything that happened back then, but,” Catherine then threw a look of pity at the man in front of her.

“Never talk about my past in front of my face!” exciting Rico. Anger began to dominate him. On his head, there were veins\-veins that started to protrude. Indi could feel the aura of hatred that was truly\really great from Rico.

In the next second, Indi had been pushed and hit a tree, with his shoulder. BUKS! Indi's eyes were still trying to figure out what was happening, when she saw Catherine was already cornered with her two knife blades holding Rico's bronze sword.

Indi whimpering. He felt a great pain in his right shoulder. Looks like his shoulder sprained. It's very fast, Indi's inner. Indi tried to stand up. He had to help Catherine. He closed his eyes, then focused his mind on Rico. Nothing happened.

Rico quickly lunged at his sword, at Catherine's dagger, and made it slip from his grasp. Rico grinning. Rico's sword was about to strike Catherine, but just in time Catherine's dagger fended her off.

Indi can sense the shock wave from the sword of Rico. Not giving a gap, Rico ran to Catherine. Their swords and daggers met again and managed to splatter light in the air.

“It's enough messing around,” said Rico.

Indi felt an overwhelming pressure of aura from Rico's direction, then just before Indi blinked, Rico ran away and approached Catherine at lightning speed. In the next instant, he saw Catherine's broken dagger crashing down and falling right beside her foot. He then felt the picture he saw as if it was going slowly, and clearly saw the tip of Rico's sword that was about to pierce Catherine's body.

“RICO STOP!”
