Indian Go!

Indian Go!
Episode 73

***

This is Rico's memory, Indi's inner. The boy is Rico, who may be six or seven years old. While the middle-aged woman in front of him was definitely his mother.

They were in a room, which Indi guessed as a kitchen. Although honestly Indi still asked how can the kitchen room in the building that big.

This room was even able to accommodate fifty people for partying. Indi spread his gaze. There are some wooden cabinets that store expensive looking dishes in the corners of the room.

In the middle of the room, there is a round glass table, with carved horses as legs, and three chairs. On the ceiling of the room, hanging an ornamental lamp that looks antique.

“I said honestly Mama! I saw a girl. His hair is yellow, you have to trust me,” whining Rico, who is now tugging at his mother's apron.

“Rico this is not the time to play around!” snapped Mother.

“I'm not playing around Mama. I can attest that I didn't drop the plates of the madam! I am innocent,” said Rico who remained firm on his stance.

THE PLAQUE! The middle-aged woman's hand floated quickly on Rico's cheek. “Enough! I never raised you to be a freak! It's enough of our hard life, don't bother it anymore!”

Rico held his cheek, which was still warm, as the woman moved out of the room. Indi really wanted to hug Rico because of that. He knew that Rico wasn't lying. Rico's countenance changed, clearly filled with annoyance.

The room then began to blur in Indi's view, then a gust of strong wind brought Indi to another vision. This time he was in front of a mirror that was about a meter and a half high. Indi guessed that he was in the same house, with the kitchen room he saw earlier.

“Why don't you want to help me? I thought we were friends?” rico said sobbing in front of the mirror.

In the mirror there is only a shadow, but the next second, Indi can see the reflection of another shadow that appears. A girl in a white dress, blonde. Jeannets. What the hell is going on? How Jeannet could be in the same place as Rico, the inner Indi.

“I was there Rico. It's just, they're not the same as you. They can't see or hear me,”

“You lied!” exciting Rico. Both of his hands were clenched. His voice became filled with hatred.

“Rico, I'm not bo-“

PRANGS!!! The mirror cracked. One of Rico's hands is now right at the source of the mirror's crack. Although it is only part of the memory, but Indi can feel, the aura of anger that covers Rico's body. The veils began to spread from his head to his hands.

“I will destroy you!”

The wind again blew, and scattered the view that Indi saw. This time Indi was in a room that looked shabby, and worn out. There were stains and scratches on the walls, which were no longer white. In the room Indi saw a middle-aged man.

He was wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt that already looked so shabby and old. His posture was firm, his body thin but formed. His hair was curly, a boat. On both of his arms were dozens of tattoos. He looks violent, just like a thug.

In his right hand, he holds a waist belt that Indi guess is made of rubber, black. A SPLASH! One lash landed on Rico's small back. The boy grimaced in pain.

“Basic son of a fucking carrier! Enough is enough, our lives are difficult, even you add again to be miserable!”

A SPLASH! Once again the black object touched the boy's thin skin. Being there is enough to make Indi, also feel the pain of Rico. Miraculously, the boy did not groan at all. His roar was clearly enduring the pain. In both of his eyes, it was now covered in white dots.

“Do you think we have enough money to replace the things you've solved?” this time the man's tone was higher.

Hatred filled Rico's gaze, each time it slapped the surface of his body. Both of his hands were clenched, making his fingers whiten. As fast as lightning the glance returned to blur.

The indi can hear sounds, scraping iron wheels and rails, which splatter light. The creaking of the brakes from the train was clearly heard. He is now in the middle of a crowded station. In the crowd, he found Rico.

His face was worried. His body was full of bruises, as well as wounds. He seemed to be hugging something, wrapped in a white cloth. His view was circulated to the other direction. From behind the crowd, some people were avoiding something, and paving the way.

“Rico stop now!” yell that guy.

That's the same guy who hit Rico. What the hell is going on? Batin Indi's. Seeing the man, Rico immediately ran over and broke through the people he saw. Right on the side of the train tracks, his hand was reached by a girl. Jeannets. He grabbed Rico's hand, and took him running away from the man.

“Stop that kid!” said the man who was chasing her. His clothes, still the same as what Indi saw before.

Rico continued to run with Jeannet's guidance. Somehow, Indi can keep following them. In the next instant, the sound of the announcement of the arrival of the carriage sounded. Within minutes, the train to the city soon arrived at the station.

Rico is still trying to catch his breath. Behind the crowd of people, the man who was chasing him was now nowhere to be seen again. Rico breathed a sigh of relief.

“We are safe,” he said.

\*\*\*

The roar of the oncoming train, was getting heard. Desing created from the friction of the wheels and rails, making Indi join close both ears. Rico stood, not far from the waiting line, train. If Indi's guess is correct, then this train will arrive in a few minutes.

Crowds of people who were also prospective passengers of the train, crowded into the entrance of the train cars, heard the sound of notifications echoing in the station.

“It looks like your father has lost track of us,” said Jeannet who had earlier circulated his gaze, on tiptoes.

Rico nodded then adjusted his breathing. He opened the cloth wrapping the thing he was carrying, then breathed a sigh of relief. Indi still could not see the thing he wrapped it clearly, but from the way Rico carried it, it was certain that it was something that was so valuable to him.

The sound of desing that Indi heard, is now increasingly clear. The next second, showed something that seemed to be accelerating. Indi saw flashes of vision. He saw Rico's hand which was finally held by his father, he then saw something that did not look so clear. Rico runs from his father and mother, Jeannet who somehow now leads a baby.

“Argh!.” Rico shouted full of despair. His eyes were filled with a glare of vengeance and anger.

Around him, the people who were at the station started to show strange excretion.

They seem to be full of hate. Highlights of the people's views then turned to, Rico's father. Seeing that made the middle-aged man bred, and was overcome with anxiety.

“Hey what are you guys looking at? I was just about to give this little thief a lesson,” he said.

“Mati.” Said one of the crowd.

Rico's father then looked at his son, this time strengthening his grasp, “What are you doing shaman?”  asked the man, with his threatening eyes.

Hearing that made Rico smile. He looked into the eyes of the man he called Father.

“Only a small gift for our parting. Papa.” Her speech.

Behind them, the crowd of people at the station started to approach. That made Rico's dad even more worried. In an instant he looked at Rico in anger, released his grasp, and started running away from the crowd. All that glimmering then stopped.

BRUK! Indi fell from Rico's grasp. He choked. Breath snuffling. He felt a chill all over his neck. Blurry views. He blinked his eyes, trying to figure out what had just happened. Looking at her and then catching on, Catherine who was now in front of her.

“Are you okay?” ask Jeannet who is now beside him.

Indi tried to answer his question. However, not a word came out. There was only a hoarse voice. He shook slowly. Seeing the little ghost made Indi's memory return to what he had just seen. His gaze then turned to Rico, who was still standing in front of Catherine.

“You're lucky Indi. A few seconds late, you must be dead,” explained Rico.

On his right arm, there was a gaping scratch wound. What happened, Indi. Look at Catherine's blade, which showed a little bloodstain.

“Indi, this guy won't let us get out of here. There's something you have to do. Remember the message from your mother, our original plan,” Catherine said.

Indi was about to protest, because from the beginning he was still so blind to the plan intended by Catherine. However, what came out of his mouth was only the sound of his cry.

“I'll stop it here. You, go with Jeannet,”

Rico smiled, “Do you think I'll let him? Don't think you can beat me, because of what you just did. Although I must admit, I did not know that you have such abilities,” explained Rico.

Indi is still trying to digest everything that happened. What he remembered, he almost died trying to attack Rico, because of something he had done to Jeannet.

“Catherine saved me,” Jeannet said.

Indi looked at him in confusion, “You also saved him. I don't know, but there's something about Catherine, which I just saw today,”.

Catherine, then approached them. Indi just realized it. The girl looked fine.
