CHAPTRE 7
Spanjus
The fairies took them somewhere. Fanny briefly confronts him, recalling the souvenir shop incident, but after a brief argument, they finally agree to return to follow the fairies.
That night the three girls decided to stay, in the residence of the fairies. They camped in the woods. Indi did not know that the fairies had the ability to treat wounds. They treated Liona and Indi, making all the wounds on their bodies disappear.
After eating some food from the souvenir shop and fruits that the fairies gave her, the three girls decided to sleep. But after the incident, the bus and souvenir shop made the three agree to take a standby turn. (The fairies are actually forcing them to sleep, but it seems like a pretty heavy thing for the three girls to trust them completely).
Indi gets first guard turn. Liona fell asleep after everything that happened. He curled up in the\-plant vines, which somehow managed to conjure the fairies into a place to sleep. Fanny lay down next to Liona, trying to close her eyes.
“You know, actually I don't want to be involved in this trip,” said Fanny.
It made Indi interested to sit next to him, “Is this all because of me?”
Fanny shakes. “No, it's not because of you. Even from the beginning, you weren't involved in this plan.”
“Ceritalah,” says Indi softly.
Fanny then sat down, then glanced at Indi carefully, as if in disbelief. But after it looks like ‘read Indi’'s mind he started telling stories.
“All this is Catherine's idea. He is a really good figure, even for the size of a human being,” he said.
“You know, it's pretty hard for me to blend in with humans. Because since I was a child, I knew that human beings are nothing more than a word ‘Au’. But since I met Catherine, all my views have changed. He showed that humans are not only people who attach importance to the will of their lives, but also others. She's the only person who became close to me.”
“Then, what does your story have to do with everything that happened?”
Fanny looked at Indi sadly. “Everything in the UCI seems so normal at first but, in recent years, we have started to find things that are odd in the UCI. And she, she's the only person who cares about it,”
“I don't understand.”
Fanny looked at Indi nanar, “At first I also did not understand, it turned out that everything was so complicated. In a moment we may be dealing with something that will probably cost many people. I don't want to add to your burden by telling you everything. You've been carrying too much weight, lately,”
Indi looked up at the sky that night. He may not understand what Fanny's words mean, but he clearly feels what Fanny is currently feeling from every word she says. Fear, worry, and anger.
“How do we get through all the things you say? Did I really have to get involved, and why from the beginning it seemed like everything was on my mom. He is not only an ordinary man. Okay maybe not, he saved a lot of lives as a doctor. But it's all unrelated, right? I mean, the last fifteen years of my life are fine\-all,” said Indi vented her feelings.
“I don't want to blame you but there are many things you don't know Indi,” Fanny sighed, “Yang first, your mother is not an ordinary person. He is indigo just like you\-“
“Wait a minute,” says Indi. “Where did you know all that stuff? You don't even know my mom!”
“Indi, same as a book. Even though you've seen the cover and read the story, you don't necessarily know what it means. So is life. All this time you could feel all the normalcy of your life thanks to your mother. And don't think I don't know your mother. Your mother was a tempus and cerebellum. He can see what will happen in the future and the past. Have you ever thought, why have you been moving around all this time? Have you ever wondered why every big event that happens to you involves your mother in every event?"
Indi obviously wanted to refute him, but everything Fanny said was true. Indi never felt his name settle somewhere. In one year, he and his family will move three to four times. And all of that was a request from her mother.
He also recalled that he was in the Mall and was possessed by something, which made him almost lose his life. All those pieces of memory, seemed to be intertwined.
“Are you reading my whole mind?”
Fanny shook her head, “Your mother is an influential person with UCI. Your mother's name should have been recorded in UCI lessons, but that didn't happen. All this time your mother was always sought by the UCI. That's because he knows something closely related to the past and future of UCI,”
Wow, what Fanny said just now was enough to make Indi hope that all that happened was just her imagination. All this time he did not know that he was the descendant of a mutant (indigo), which can even change his entire life.
“Your mother changed since she got a vision of the UCI going forward. He has since decided to leave the UCI. The UCI didn't want that, they kept looking for ways to get back to your mother. And twenty years ago, an organization calling itself The Sanctus also started targeting your mother,”
“Wait, what did my mother see? And why was only my mother targeted? Isn't every Indigo child with a forging ability able to see past and future as well? Why should my mother keep being chased\-chase? And, how do you know all that stuff? Then what does my mom have to do with The Sanctus?”
“Looks like you didn't really pay attention to every learning that was in the UCI. Indigos with tempus abilities can indeed see the past and future. However, not everything they see is the same. Even only a few children\-wrought children can read both\-both. Some children even sometimes do not realize, if they have seen something. Your mother is an indigo who is endowed with something greater in her abilities. He can see the future and the past by just touching, or seeing,”
Fanny stared at the night sky, seemingly unwilling to look at Indi. “What your mother saw was closely related to The Sanctus. Something big is going to happen between the two. And I never knew what it was. According to Catherine, only two people knew what was going to happen. Your mother and Jeannet. I'll tell you more about, where do I know all this, but-“ Fanny yawned, “I'm too tired and sleepy. I'll tell you tomorrow on our way.” Fanny said and began to curl up and fall asleep.
