Introduction to Sleep
princess Alika

In the kingdom of Hamesha lived a beautiful princess named Alika. His hair was long and his eyes were big. Her hobby is painting. Actually, Alika has many hobbies, such as reading, dancing, watching drama, but the most preferred is painting.

The morning after breakfast, Alika usually immediately asked the servants to bring their painting equipment to a place. It can be on the balcony of the palace, in the garden, or inside the palace. It was troublesome that Alika wanted to paint the situation outside the palace. For example, suddenly want to paint the market. Well, the royal army must also come to secure Alika.

“My daughter, not Dad forbid you to paint. But do not make others bother if you want to paint,” said King Hamesha several times.

“Dad, actually I didn't ask those servants and guards to keep following me painting. I'd rather go painting by myself without being escorted by the palace soldiers. Just accompanied by one servant only,” said Alika.

“Of course it can't be. Unless you paint in the palace. If outside the palace, you still have to be accompanied by the guards,” said King Hamesha.

Alika complained of annoyance in her heart. Actually, he did not like to paint outside the palace followed by the guards. The atmosphere was not as usual. Not natural. The market atmosphere, for example. So it was very orderly and the merchants were frightened because there were bodyguards. Hmmm.., whereas Alika wants to paint the real market.

“Ah, later tonight I want to paint the nightlife in the people's village. Hmmm.., but I don't want to be escorted by the palace prajkurit. How to ya?” thought Alika then.

Ahah! Alika finally found a way.

After dinner, Alika went straight to her room. He then set up painting tools near the window of the room, as well as bolsters that were worn his clothes. From a distance it looked like Alika was painting on the window of the room. After that Alika sneaked outside the palace while carrying her painting equipment.

Alika finds a secret passage from the palace library to a tower in the village. Although a little dark and smelly damp, Alika walked down the dark hallway. Ufc... Finally he climbed the stairs, towards the door of the old tower in the middle of the village. He was relieved when no one saw him.

“But what should I paint, yes?” ask Alika in my heart.

Alika looked at the houses around her. Then, Alika decided to pay attention to the houses first, just painting them. He wanted to look through the windows of the houses first, who knew there was something interesting to paint.

In the first house, Alika saw an old grandmother lying cold. Looks like he needs a thick warm shirt, as well as a blanket. “Ah, she also needs socks and warm drinks. It may also be firewood to warm the room. Too bad. Does she have no one's child?” ask Alika in my heart.

In the second house, Alika saw a mother who was in trouble taking care of her five small children.

Shortly after, a man entered the house. That's their father. He took out a small piece of bread. The mother distributed the bread to her five children. Mother was the same as not even a small part.

Alika looked again at the third house. In that house he saw a couple living together. They were dressed in nice thick clothes. In every corner of the house there is good food. The husband and wife's body was also fat as it had eaten everything on the dining table.

Alika looked at the other house. There was a child lying sick, there was a doctor who was eating well, there was a young woman who slept with a body of jewelry, and many more sights that Alika thought.

Once satisfied, Alika returned to the old tower. He did not paint, but returned to his room.

Since that night, Alika rarely went outside her room. King Hamesha was worried. He doesn't know what happened to his daughter.

“My daughter, was Dad too rude to you, to the point that you locked yourself in the room continue?” ask King Hamesha.

“Dad, I want to paint in the room for this month. Please don't be disturbed. Later after a month, I will hold an exhibition of my paintings, for all my people. Can you, Dad?” ask Alika.

King Hamesha.

A month later Alika finished her painting. He also exhibited his painting in a building that can be visited by all residents.

Many people were shocked to see the painting of Alika. Especially when they know what they are painting is themselves.

King Hamesha was also shocked and struck in his heart. Apparently, all this time he had never seen firsthand the state of his people. Among the rich and prosperous people, there are still some people who live poor.

“My daughter, you have opened my eyes through your painting. From now on, I will pay more attention to the people again,” King Hamesha's promise.

Alika smiles. He was happy that his painting could evoke the feelings of many people. Not just a painting solely for his personal satisfaction anymore.
