Chapter 9 - Source of Disaster
In the menu [Detective Tool Shop] there is an item with an expensive price. The item is in the form of a system that is able to access all the data in the game Isekai Online. Sounds great because the system is capable of Legal Hacking.
These systems are CODIS and AFIS. An item priced at one Gold Coin for ten samples was used. CODIS or Combined DNA Index System in the real world is a national database that stores DNA data profiles. AFIS stands for Automated Fingerprint Identification System which stores a number of important data in the form of fingerprint patterns.
When a country has a DNA sample and a fingerprint sample, it will make it easier for a case involving biological evidence and fingerprints to be found. But what if the system was applied to a game with races filled with various species? Of course, it will lead to various kinds of suspects that vary.
CODIS and AFIS are there to answer this problem. Am I one of the lucky players who have the [Detective Tool Shop] feature with two cheat systems like this? Well, maybe I was lucky to find a sample that was left behind and get this system. Without that sample, I don't know who the culprit I'm looking for is.
[Skill Detective: Basic Phenolphthalein Efficiency] and [Skill Detective: Basic Luminol Efficiency], at least I thank these two skills that I have. Without them I would have had a hard time finding the clues left behind on the scene.
A case solved by the luminol reaction was later clarified by the phenolpthalein reaction? Especially in a world filled with species other than humans?
One of the Phenolphthalein Test samples had a bright purple reaction and the Luminol Test sample produced six tiny dots of purple-colored light. Those two reactions were enough to deduce one important clue left behind.
This culprit has the blood of a DEMON!
Problem is.. What kind of demon is this?
Humans alone have some classification of their own type based on race, let alone a Demon in a world like this right? That's why I rely a little on the analysis that is being done by CODIS.

Ever since I played this Detective Class, there have been new things I've learned. This knowledge can be a double-edged weapon. If a wise person used this knowledge, he could obtain this information as a weapon to help someone. On the other hand, if anyone has knowledge of this information. He will use it as much as possible for personal purposes.
I once read an article about the discovery of a mysterious corpse and it was returned to his family after the DNA profile of the corpse matched on one of his family's DNA profiles. Of course it wasn't an easy thing, a corpse without any identity or clues that led to his personal information simply lay in the DNA he carried. Such a method is more effective especially if his DNA profile is recorded by the government. Comparing his DNA sample with some DNA samples that have been registered will be very easy and fast.
