Chapter 6 - The Crisis of the Nestrad Kingdom

Boot Camp Server is an open space training ground that aims to train the skills of students of Arcadia Academy. There was an incident that made the place a warm talk for the NPCs.

Some NPCs who talk about it sometimes attract the attention of the Player to check the Boot Camp Server region in hopes of finding a [Hidden Quest] triggered. However, they looked disappointed after seeing a division of royal warriors with average levels reaching level 80 guarding the place. The no-entry mark of the Boot Camp Server region is clearly visible which even triggers a special notification that signals the place is off-limits to the Player.

Thanks to the ban notification, the online Isekai gaming forum opens up special discussion topics such as whether something has happened to the venue as several daily missions around the Boot Camp Servere region have been pulled by the Adventure Master Guild. Some plants and fruits for potion production needs that grow around Boot Camp Server should look for other sources.

The main crisis of this incident began to be felt by the Player. The economic turnaround of the Nestrad Kingdom Player was slightly disrupted due to the soaring potion prices.

Of course, there are some parties who benefit by taking advantage of this crisis. Not all Players had a potion backup, so they were quite restless with this unexpected occurrence.

The King and Queen of the Nestrad Kingdom along with the other noble members sat opposite each other. The meeting took place in secret with the topic of conversation that should not be leaked out.

The King of the Nestrad Kingdom sat speechless and thought to look for the right decision. His mind was filled with consideration as to what steps he would take to defend the fate of the Nestrad Kingdom.

“Yang majesty..” one of the nobles present opened his voice.

“Is it true that one of the royal nobles betrayed?” the remark made all the nobles who were in the room fall silent.

A small whisper began to sound, The silent King stood up from his seat and walked over to one of the nobles present. The King looks very young like a 20-year-old. Behind the cloak she was wearing was a small knife that reflected a bit of light. The small movement of the King who drew a knife to the neck of the nobleman in front of him made the other nobles freeze silently. A sense of shock and fear enveloped them, seeing their King who intervened killing one of them.

“I hope this answers your question” The king looks at the nobleman who gave him the question. The expression on the noble's face paled instantly. Fear took hold of his body after finding the answer to his stupid question.

“Viscount Barknelyn!” The king looked at the noble before him with a sharp gaze and a dark aura gushed out from his body.

“I gave you two choices! kill all of your family members to atone for the sins of a traitor like you or kill all of these shameless noble family members! Your greed for treasure leads this kingdom to destruction!” The king threw the noble's body which was still spitting fresh blood from his neck.

Looking at the corpse of the body that was still moving it made Viscount Barknelyn panic! His bloodline life is on the edge of extinction. His greatest mistake in breaking the oath of allegiance not to betray the King was known to the King of the Nestrad Kingdom. He couldn't possibly escape just by killing the bloodline of the nobleman who died before him. Sooner or later, his bloodline had ended then and there.

Today, two noble lineages had disappeared from the list of the Nestrad Royal family.

“Oh! by the way.please ask Saintess Vallie to purify your soul. That's if Saintess Vallie lets her children die because of your treachery that stole the crystal seal that locked the source of the disaster 500 years ago! Do you know what disaster I mean?” The king looked at Viscount Barknelyn with an aura of death that slowly devoured Viscount Barknelyn.

Viscount Barknelyn looked extremely frightened seeing the King before him looking at him filled with a negative aura that slowly sucked his consciousness towards the black space filled with a thick black fog that covered his vision.

The queen who saw the incident, now walked closer to the King. “Darling, calm down.You know killing them won't solve the problem but at least we can turn them into undead to work endlessly in the recently discovered gold mines. Anyway, we still need workers to dig that gold mine.”

“What they did was indeed a very foolish act, unleashing security magic and stealing seal crystals from the source of mankind's disaster 500 years ago. I don't know what to say after seeing this reality. But we must preserve their foolish actions on the history of our kingdom. At least it could be an important lesson passed down for the successor of this kingdom” The Queen looked at Viscount Barknelyn with a gaze full of disdain.

Broadly speaking, the Nestrad Kingdom was in a stage towards destruction. All decisions taken by the King will determine the fate of this kingdom.

The king returned to his seat.

A black shadow figure suddenly stood beside the Queen. The shadow whispered something in the Queen's ear and disappeared like it was swallowed by air. With a surprised expression, the Queen looked at the King. Without a voice and with just a glance, the two couples communicate. A small nod of the two couples was visible, they stood up from their seats and rushed away from the meeting room. Leaving behind the nobles who looked at each other in confusion saw the departure of the King and Queen then turned to glance at Viscount Barknelyn who was still frightened.

When the door of the room closed, a few seconds passed and a loud roar sounded from within the room. It seemed as if the remaining nobles were venting their frustration at the foolish behavior carried out by Viscount Barknelyn. He did deserve it, the money he got was not worth the damage caused by it.

The King and Queen of the Kingdom of Nestrad walked down the royal passageway. Their footsteps were so calm. There was almost no sound of footstep friction filling the passageway.

They have a safe distance and make sure no one is following them. The King looked at the Queen with a serious look.

“What information is correct, Victoria?” ask King.

“Of course, dear..why should I lie to you?” reply to the Queen.

“Isn't that too weird, even the royal investigator who got secret information about the creature had trouble analyzing the type of creature. But.. Saintess Vallie learned of the creature only from visiting the scene? The remaining source of magic from that place should have long since disappeared after three days had passed. The trumpet signal rang and the back gate of the palace opened, the horse carriage drove away from the palace accompanied by a loud pounding of horse steps filling up along the way.

Long before the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Nestrad decided to meet Saintess Vallie a unique incident had just happened at Boot Camp Serre.

[120 minutes earlier.]

The main gate of the Temple of the Goddess Relena was wide open. A horse-drawn carriage walked out.

Inside the carriage was Saintess Vallie accompanied by two bodyguards and a young man who was busy reading the thin screen floating before him.

The young man is a Player with the nickname [Guest177013] whose every movement is currently supervised by two Saintess bodyguards namely Viona Nala and Viera Nala.

Unlike Viera who was looking at the young man with a smile, Viona looked at the young man with a sharp gaze. The young man tried to heed the sharp gaze by turning his attention to his list of weapon equipment.

This trip will probably feel long because he has absolutely no idea where Boot Camp Server is located. It could have been that the young man had opened the location map and searched for it manually but it would have been faster if he had been taken away to the place directly without having to look for it manually.

The trip was a little boring and made the young man open the menu of his main weapon and pay attention to every information listed in it to kill his boredom.
