11. Launching Mission

The four of us went home. I saw Audrey's overjoyed face when her father was present at the school hall photo shoot and graduation.

Not in the least, mas Dimas wants to hear all my complaints about his daughter who began to hate his papa because of the cuek nature of Dimas mas to his own flesh and blood.

'Mama's happy if you're happy, ' my mind is satisfied while looking at Audrey who is cheerful.

On the other side, there is Sarah. He didn't seem to like what I had done for my daughter. His face was so furious that the three of us took a picture.

I think if the three of us take pictures is reasonable, there is a wife, husband and then children. Does he want to join my son's graduation portrait? But I remember taking her. He alone refused.

A week has gone by after the graduation ceremony.

I started to launch my plan.

At dawn at 3, I woke up and did not expect Dimas mas just out of his room.

I followed my husband who went to the kitchen.

"Why are you following me?" the sound of Dimas intimidating.

"Hem, can I say something to you?" ask me.

Dimas's knuckle looks puckered, "What did you say?" Maybe my husband feels weird because I'm his oldest wife talking this whole body.

"When do we sign Audrey to Gem Elementary School, Mas?" ask my husband.

But Mas Dimas did not answer, which made me take out a new student admissions brochure at Permata school.

"The registration fee is still at a discount until tomorrow, mas. 30% more. Come on, it's for our daughter's sake" I said hoping.

I bite my teeth in annoyance. 'Since when do I want to stay home with you and your maddening honey? I want a divorce!' my mind is screaming.

Audrey just walked out of the room. These nights, Audrey doesn't usually leave the room. I came to her, worried about me, "Why did you come out, honey?" ask me.

"Hem, I want to pee, Ma."

"Oh that's it .." I'm relieved. "Her bathroom is here, baby." I led Audrey into the bathroom. After peeing, Audrey stood up to her Papa. My son looked at Dimas with a look for mercy.

"Pa," said my son, his voice is still a typical hoarse just waking up.

"Why Audrey?" ask Dimas in a friendly voice.

"Audrey wants SD in SD Permata, Pa. Can you?"

For anything! I never taught Audrey to say that 'lie', Audrey never said 'his intention' for school at Gem Elementary School. I said Audrey wants to go to Permata Elementary School, for real, it was just my writing. I want to get away from Dimas and my shitty honey, and closer than Ayra. Considering the private Permata school is a hundred meters from Ayra's house.

Mas Dimas stared briefly at me. He sighed, "Alright, Papa will soon register you to SD gem."

Audrey hugged her Papa, "Thank you Pa! Audrey's getting to love Papa!"

"Thank you," that's all I can say even though my heart is blossoming right now.

After a short conversation with my husband, Audrey and I went back to the room. Closing the door, and sitting on the bed.

"Darling, Mama want to know why you know Mama's intention to send you to SD Permata?" ask me in a whisper.
