It's Happier After Divorce
55. More Often Lying

POV Mia's.

During the week, all the monotony went, I worked, ate and drove Audrey to school. At night, we slept, and the next morning did the same process over and over again.

Be happy? A little, because Audrey, my dear little girl, is alive, healthy and always standing with me right now.

It's just that this heart feels empty. Every day I miss Samuel. I love her, but Audrey is my priority right now. Audrey's grief was my failure to please her. And the boy wanted me to marry his father back.

It's something that sucks indeed.

Audrey seems to forget the figure of Dimas who once set us aside for the sake of a Sarah– woman from the past who returned to destroy harmonious family relationships for years.

But all my fault, during the grief process a few months ago, I never instilled hate in his heart. Always say, "Papa you'll be right back in our arms, baby. Will be back soon." I always emphasize that to him. Even if you don't know when that time is.

And now, my words are clearly in plain sight. Dimas really came back after being disappointed with his mass. Accompanied ... Samuel–lelaki who never hurt this heart, he is always fun.

And during the week Samuel always came home, always reminding so many wonderful memories together. Until now, Samuel was the greatest lover of all time.

"Mama!"

My daydreams scattered with Audrey's screeches from outside the room.

"Why baby?" I slightly turned my head, immediately Audrey walked up to me, hugging this body from the side. Take a look from the bright moonlight from the top of the balcony and look into her beautiful little eyes. "What's Audrey doing?" I asked him who hadn't spoken until half a minute he was here.

"Audrey wants to tell something to Mama" she whispered with a ruckus. I don't know what he meant, I don't understand.

"You know what, honey?" ask me in a soft voice.

"Just something!" he smiled and kept on chuckling.

I don't know what this daughter of mine means. "Well, what do you have to do, Hem?" I can't wait to know.

"It's night now, Audrey. Don't comeout. It wasn't like you went to the toilet, now that you're back, you asked Mama out of the room."

Akh, it feels lazy to come out. It was ten o'clock in the night before Audrey asked permission to go to the bathroom, so I woke up and followed her. He complained of stomach pain, finally he left and chose to open the divider room and balcony area. There I stood while enjoying the beautiful moonlight.

Now, whatever made Audrey happy, she kept forcing me out of the room.

"Come Ma. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!"

I don't know what the chance means twice in a lifetime. I finally got caught up too. We came out of the room and saw darkness in front of our eyes. I was trying to find a switch, but my hand was pulled by someone who gave me the reflex to punch the person.

"Akh!" that guy is hissing sick. Slightly regressing his body.

If I remember his voice, it was Dimas. It was evidenced by Audrey approaching the man and shouting, "Papa!"

But why did Dimas sneak into my house. Especially now it's night?

Unable to hold back my curiosity I began to question the contents of my head to her. "For what did Mas Dimas come to my house these nights? Do you want to swing?" accuse me with a frown.

"Okay, sorry-sorry, Mas didn't intend to make a move, Mia. Just be right."

"Certainly, if you don't intend to make a living, why come these nights? Then you, Audrey. You guys conspired to surprise Mama?" I intimidated both of them.

"Hem it, Ma. Audrey .... Audrey doesn't know this guy Papa."

Well, I easily discovered the lie that Audrey cured. "Don't be a lying little girl, Audrey. Tell Mama the truth!" I said while turning on the lights.

Audrey lowered her head, "Yes ma," the boy replied in a soft voice.

I frowned my increasingly confused, what exactly happened to my sweet little daughter? She becomes a girl who likes to lie after getting closer to her Papa.
