Mia stared at the disappointed departure of Dimas from her home. He had no intention of anything, he only needed calmness.
His thoughts were chaotic, sad and disappointed mixed into one. He still loved Samuel so much, he felt foolish to have let Samuel go.
He doesn't love Dimas much anymore, enough with the heartbreak he got from the man in the final year of their marriage.
Rejecting in the same way seems good. He was just trying to keep the heart of the only daughter he loved so much.
But it seems Audrey is angry with her own mother.
It was evident because Audrey walked without greeting him as she passed by. Audrey went into her room. No more sleeping with him. Mia was not too concerned about the thing that had become her dilemma all along.
'Audrey just needs time,' that's what she believes before finally going to bed in her room.
In Audrey's room.
He was crying out loud. Deliberately hiding his head on the pillow because he did not want his mother to hear his cries.
'Why is my mother and father like this, Lord? Audrey's tired! Friends consider Audrey the happiest child to have a Mama and Papa whose relationship is harmonious! How did the friends look at Audrey after knowing all this? Audrey is tired of persuading Mama and Papa to make peace. Mama always said to always pray for Papa's return to Mama and Audrey's life. Papa must be back! So said Mama. But in fact, after Papa returned, Mama refused. I'm confused as to what to do .. Everything is this difficult!'
The next day, Mia had a normal day. It's so wonderful not to meet people who have hurt her.
But her daughter Audrey–, who until this second continues to show her sour face, became a major topic in Mia's brain.
'So much hate my son for continuing to disagree with the re-entry of Dimas mas into our lives?'
"I want to go alone!" audrey shouted after the clothes were attached to her body and the bag had been carried.
Mia who was preparing breakfast Audrey sighed. "Your school is in our neighborhood, baby."
"Keep why?!"
Mia averted her eyes after Audrey who was again shouting. Audrey fought him today.
"Mom knows you can't cross. But have you made a deal with a friend to walk with?" ask Mia again. He always lowered his voice.
Audrey speaks a thousand languages. Even so his heart said, 'Why isn't mama angry anyway? Let Audrey have a reason to leave home to meet Papa!'
"Audrey wants her own way to school! If you want to ban, Audrey will leave this house!" threaten Audrey who doesn't know what else to say.
Mia approached Audrey with no anger on her face. She stood behind Audrey's body to put the box in her bag.
"Mama fully supports your decision to be independent. My mother did not forbid. Just worry about why. Mama remembers, the last time we crossed the street, you were scared to the point of shaking your legs. Fear, you are late because you do not dare to walk. Unless there's a friend helping you cross."
Instantly Audrey's face flushed red like a boiled crab. Her mother opened up the infuriating disgrace that kept haunting her.
"Aragh!" Audrey growled. Turn around and look at the mother with anger. "Mom think Audrey's that weak?!"
