37. The Audrey

POV Mia's.

"So right Mama didn't really intend to separate Audrey from Papa?" ask Audrey hoping.

This made me rub Audrey's head. "It's been a month since we parted, baby. During that time, Audrey will always be with Papa, at Papa's shuttle without any obstacles from Mama. Except sleeping together."

"Is that so, Ma?"

"Yes dear. You must be hungry, right? We eat yuk, but after cooking. You help Mama, right?"

"Okay, Ma."

A while later Audrey and I finished cooking. Put the cutlery, and the dishes we made. Just a few mouthfuls, a door was knocked on.

"Who is that, Ma?" ask Audrey curious.

"Maybe a guest, baby." It doesn't cross my head if Mas Dimas comes. When I opened the door, it was Dimas in front of the door.

"But why did it come?" many confused.

"I'm sorry, Mia? I went outside to ask about Audrey's request."

Not yet I answered, Audrey ran towards her Papa.

"Mr …"

"I'm a yang." I saw Dimas holding Audrey.

"We eat, right? Audrey helped Mama cook, Pa," Audrey said, crumpling on Dimas' body.

"It should be like that. You have to be good at cooking like Mama?" mas Dimas said encouragingly.

"Audrey will try, Pa!"

We ate together. Silence is truly overpowering. Until the sound of Mas Dimas sounded. "Oh yes. Papa just remembered. Later in the night Papa will sleep with you and Mama in the room huh?"

Audrey looked at me, confused by what Papa meant.

"Mama said, we can't sleep together, Papa," Audrey said.

Immediately I saw Mas Dimas displaying his surprise, then staring at me. His gaze was as if saying, 'You've told everything?'

"Together Papa can be dear, but without Mama," I said still allow. Although Rada was worried too, Audrey was a woman even though she was a child, and Dimas a grown man. Anyone knows what I mean.

"Audrey wants to be with Mom. Sorry Audrey, yes, Pa. I asked for something strange" Audrey said regretfully.

"It's okay, baby. Papa is happy to always be with you. After the meal, Papa went straight home, Audrey."

Audrey gave a faint smile.

After eating, Dimas actually went home. I looked at Audrey who clearly still missed Papa's figure.

But is it possible that Audrey said she wanted to be with me because she didn't want to lose one of us? I mean, if Audrey insisted maybe I'd get mad and ruin my relationship with Dimas's mas which was fatal to Audrey too.

I hugged Audrey after closing the door. "We learn, baby," I said, persuading my son.

"Okay Ma." Audrey replied, although her eyes continued to focus on the door as if hoping it would open then Mas Dimas would hug her and say, 'Papa will accompany Audrey tonight.'

Huh.

Everything's getting heavier. I understand the feeling of my daughter who misses Papa and wants to be with him 24 hours!

"Audrey .. Mama hope you are patient and do not grieve like this. Mama will immediately decide to ask Papa to marry Mama again if Mama feels Papa has changed. Without Sarah, without favoritism."

"But Ma, Papa is already paying attention to us. There's no Mama Sarah, is there?" Audrey immediately replied and looked at me expectantly.

"Mama doesn't feel right yet, baby. Audrey just wait for the time."
