In a different place, William who had just returned from Gerry's company was shocked when he saw his wife was already sitting waiting for him on the sofa of his study.
"Darling... Have you come?" William asked as he walked closer to his wife.
"Yes. I was waiting for you an hour ago." Reply Rania honestly.
"Agh, I'm sorry. I just got back from Gerry's company." William felt guilty for making his wife wait.
"No problem. What business do you have visiting Gerry to his company?" Ask Rania.
"There's just a little business I need to discuss with Gerry." William replied honestly without explaining the business he meant.
Rania nodded and did not ask much.
"Sit. I'll prepare lunch for you. You've missed your lunch hour."
"Thank you, baby." William briefly kissed his wife's forehead and sat down next to her.
"Have you had lunch?" William asked after Rania handed him a plate filled with food.
"It has. I even finished two rice dishes earlier." Reply Rania a little embarrassed.
William smiled at it. "You have to eat a lot of food for our baby to be healthy in here." His words caressed his wife's stomach.
Rania smiled. "Eat." The words of William again.
And as usual, William occasionally feeds food into Rania's mouth which Rania happily receives.
Fifteen minutes passed, William had finished finishing the meal that Rania had brought.
"Your food is always good." Praise William while stroking his stomach.
"Tomorrow I'll make a different menu for your lunch. Hope you like it." Rania said with pleasure.
"Whatever it is, I'll definitely like it." Reply William.
Rania widened her smile while rearranging her food.
"William. You don't remember if I wanted to go to Kyara's mansion this afternoon." Ask Rania.
"It looks like Kyara's gone home from checking the contents." Reply then.
"alright. I'll pick you up after work."
"Yes. It's up to you." Reply Rania.
"Sorry I can't take you. After this there's still a lot of work to be done." Sesal William's.
"No problem. I can go with the driver."
"Tell me when you get there." William's orders are taken by Rania.
William got up from his seat and helped his wife to stand up.
"Come on. I'll take you to the lobby."
"no need. I can do it myself. You stay here and continue your work." Reject Rania.
"But—"
"That's it. I can do it myself." Rania said again firmly.
After their little argument was over, Rania came out of her husband's room. While at her husband's doorstep, Rania's gaze was fixed on Citra who was typing something on her computer screen.
Realizing Rania was staring at him, Citra stopped her activities. "Miss Rania... Do you want to go home?" Ask with a fake smile.
"Yes that's how it is..." Reply Rania short.
"Then be careful on the road." The image still displayed his fake smile.
*"Thank you." Rania answered briefly. Do you think I didn't know you were pretending to be nice to me. *Rania said in her heart after leaving the Citra table. Just watch out if you dare to tease my husband again! I'll always be watching you. Rania Grunts.
Enjoy your last days as the wife of the president. Because once my plan is successful, I'll kick you off the president's side. Cika also nodded while smiling.
