Let's Get Divorced

Let's Get Divorced
Bitter Reality

Rachel was enjoying her morning breakfast at the dinner table. The breakfast menu this morning is a classic avocado toast topped with hard-boiled eggs and pickled vegetables. While eating her morning meal, Rachel occasionally glanced at her smartphone which was old enough to read the news. Yes, Rachel is very happy to read the news so that her insights are increased, and also so that Rachel upgrades information about life in the land of Queen Elizabeth.

Rachel was so absorbed in reading that she didn't realize her husband was sitting across from her.

"What are you reading?" Ask Jasper. Of course, the goal this time is to ask about the results of tespack.

"Weather info," Rachel replied flatly.

"It's breakfast. Eat up!" Rachel shoved a plate filled with the patio avocado toast. However, Rachel did not put pickles on her husband's plate.

"Why don't you keep pickles on my plate?" Jasper looks curious.

"Your mama told me if you don't like pickles" Rachel replied as she stared at her phone.

"I told you not to cook for me anymore. I can eat outside" Jasper said coldly.

"Don't be too confident! I'm cooking for you because I have to keep our marriage agreement. Wasn't point number four saying that I should serve you as a wife?" Rachel said with an expressionless face.

Jasper was defeated by the reason Rachel cooked for him.

"I'm not one to break a promise. Eat, because you won't eat any more of my cooking" Rachel put the toast in her mouth.

"I have no taste" Jasper refused. Rachel seemed to not care, she tried to read some sports and health articles.

"What about the test results?" Jasper looked at his wife.

"Negative," Rachel's short timps. In fact, Rachel did not wear the testpack at all.

The young man's lips revealed his sweet smile. Jasper was so relieved and happy too. That means there will be no bond between him and his unloved wife.

"Then I'm leaving!" Jasper stood up from his seat.

"Yes. Get off! Every time you go anywhere, you usually never tell me."

"Rachel?" Call Jasper with a serious face.

"Hmm?"

"Later in the afternoon let's go to Mama's boutique. We have to buy clothes for Archie's birthday, "suggests Jasper.

"Why don't you take Aurora?"

"Because I know you definitely don't have a party dress."

"Then? If I don't have one?"

"Even if we don't love each other, but I'm obligated to meet all your needs, because you're my wife."

Rachel stopped staring at her smartphone. She turned to her husband, "when did you acknowledge me as your wife?"

"That's it. I'm lazy to argue with you this early" Jasper got up from his seat. The young man immediately left Rachel to rush off to the campus.

Rachel ends her breakfast, doesn't want to be late again and has to board Hans's car again. As she walked out the door, Rachel saw Jasper chatting with Alula and Kai. Since when did the two in-laws come? That's what Rachel thought.

"Hey, baby!" Alula comes to Rachel and hugs her.

"When did Mom and Dad come?" Rachel hugged her mother-in-law gently back. Rachel felt a comfort she had not gained from anyone.

"just now. You guys going to college?" Alula's eyes sparkled.

"Yes, Ma. Mama, I should have called Rachel if I was coming. Rachel wasn't feeling well because Mama was coming, but Rachel had to go to college" Rachel said sadly.

"Mama's here just wanna see you guys. Mama's relieved that your relationship is fine" Alula showed a happy facial expression.

"Well, what's okay, Ma? Your son is fighting for another woman" Rachel's heartache.

"I can't be nice to her, Ma! Being close to her always makes me emotional!" Inner Jasper while looking at the familiarity of the two women before him.

"Dear, stop! Our kids are going to college. Later they're late," Kai approaches Alula.

"Then, go! Remind your husband not to speed on the street?" Alula stroked the back of Rachel's hand.

"Yes, Ma. We're leaving first, aren't we?" Rachel hugged Alula, then got into Jasper's car.

"What the fuck is he?" Jasper grumbled in his heart when he saw Rachel get into his car.

"I'm leaving, Ma!" Pamit Jasper to her parents. He immediately entered the driver's door.

Jasper's car drove out of his residence. He advanced his speed at 60 km/h. After driving for 300 meters, Jasper stopped his car.

"You can get down here!" Jasper said coldly without looking at Rachel.

"here? It's still a long way to campus. Just a little more. I'm afraid there's no public transport going by" Rachel tried to negotiate.

"I don't want Aurora and our other friends to see. I don't want anyone to know about our marriage. Comedown!" Jasper looked at him with a murderous look.

"But-"

"I said get off!" Jasper raised his voice.

"You're a bitch!" Rachel got out of her husband's car with a bad feeling.

"He has no feelings!" Bump Rachel when she saw Jasper's car away and getting smaller in her view.

It seemed like luck was not on the side of the blonde haired girl, because before long, there was someone who stopped her car right beside Rachel.

"Hallo, Miss Bulgaria!" Hans greeted Rachel with his cute smile.

"He again!" Rachel surprised.

"Let's ride!"

"Ah, there is a bus. I'll just take the bus!" Reject Rachel, then she stops the bus behind Hans' car.

"He's so funny!" Hans smilingly looked at Rachel who was rushing into the bus.

College just finished. Rachel tidied up her stuff preparing to leave class.

"Chel?" Nicole starts the conversation as they step out of the classroom.

"Yes?"

"Let's buy a dress for Archie's party tomorrow!" Take Nicole with enthusiasm.

"I can't," Rachel instantly recalled Jasper's invitation to buy her a dress.

"Why? Though I wanted to buy a dress with you," Nicole looked disappointed.

"I have business" Rachel was forced to lie. No way not, Rachel said if she was invited to buy a dress by her husband.

"Yes already. I'll just take Mommy with me" Nicole smiled.

"I'm sorry!" Rachel feels bad.

"It's okay," Nicole comforted.

Rachel parted ways with Nicole at the campus gate because of the different directions they took.

"Didn't Jasper ask me to buy a dress?" Rachel asked in her heart. Rachel also continued to walk away from the campus, in order to find a public vehicle that she could ride to go home.

Unexpectedly, Jasper caught up and stopped the car right in front of him

"Come on!" Jasper got out of his car.

Rachel just stared at the place on her foot.

"Let's go up before anyone sees us!" Jasper looked around.

Rachel was ripped from her daydream. The girl got into Jasper's car. Jasper drove his car to a subscription boutique that his family used to go to. 30 minutes later, the couple arrived at the luxury boutique they were heading to.

Jasper went down first without saying anything to Rachel. Rachel followed her husband into the boutique.

"Aunt Chelsea!" Jasper greeted the beautiful green-eyed lady who was chatting with her two employees.

"Hallo, baby!" The woman named Chelsea.

"How are you, Auntie?" Jasper seemed very familiar with the boutique owner.

"Good aunt's news. How are you, honey? Who are you coming here with?" Chelsea looked at Rachel.

"I-I," Jasper looked surprised when Chelsea asked him about Rachel. He did not prepare an answer about Rachel.

"Hallo, I'm Jasper's friend!" Rachel went towards Chelsea.

"I'm a classmate at university. My name is Rachel Olivia!" Rachel introduced herself kindly and stuck out her hand.

"Rachel Hallo. You are so beautiful. Aunty thinks you're Jasper's girlfriend" Chelsea welcomed Rachel's hand in a friendly manner.

"No, Aunt. Auntie knows who I like" Jasper smiled.

"Yes, of course Aurora the daughter of Beverly who was that brink," Chelsea laughed. He is best friends with Alula and Beverly, Aurora's mother.

Rachel also just smiled bitterly at Chelsea's words. I don't know what's going on with his heart. Could this be the feeling of an unregarded wife?

"I'm here looking for a dress for my friend" Jasper said.

Chelsea is secretly unsure if Rachel is just a friend. Because, Chelsea had never seen her best friend's son was close to other women except with Aurora. However, he did not want to disturb the privacy of his best friend's son.

"alright. Go around with your friends and find a dress that suits you!" Chelsea smile.

"Okay, auntie," Jasper walked around looking at the dress that was striking her eyes.

Rachel just followed behind her husband. This boutique is very glamorous and elegant. Rachel was so fascinated to see the neatly arranged dresses. Her steps came to a halt as Jasper touched one dress. Peach-colored sleeveless dress with lace accents at the end of her dress.

"It's nice. I like it," Rachel said excitedly.

"Aurora would be so beautiful if she wore this dress" Jasper smiled at the dress. She imagined Aurora wearing her choice of dress.

Rachel was dropped from the top of the Eiffel Tower and heard Jasper say. It turns out that Jasper's main purpose for taking her to this boutique was to find a dress for Aurora? It was sad, that was how Rachel felt.

"You picked your own clothes for you!" Jasper orders while waving his hand towards the boutique employee. It seemed, Jasper was really going to buy the dress.

Rachel turned her back to Jasper. A tear fell from his eyes. She truly felt like an exiled woman. Why should his life be this sad? Sold by both parents. Forced to marry by her brother, and now neglected and not considered to exist by her husband. Even worse, her husband loved another woman. It was sad, that was how Rachel felt. He never received true love from anyone. Rachel hurriedly wiped her tears. He immediately chose a dress for her quickly, none other than because Rachel wanted to go home soon.
