Let's Get Divorced

Let's Get Divorced
Knowing the Truth

Jasper explained everything to Archie without anyone missing a single one.

"So this is all Alan Addison?" Archie draws his conclusions.

"What if the girl doesn't sleep with you, J?" Ask Archie.

"It's impossible. 100% I'm sure I've slept with Rachel."

"What if he lies to you?" Ask Archie again.

"Cannot be. She's not that kind of girl. Rachel is not one to take advantage of other people's difficulties" Jasper said radiantly.

"But what if the facts are?" Rework Archie.

"I said it was impossible. I saw the evidence" Jasper recalled Rachel's reddish neck from her actions.

"What kind of evidence? Do you remember the night you spent with her?"

"I don't remember it. But I'm sure Rachel didn't lie to me. I know him very well" Jasper gave a dislike expression.

"And what if Rachel lied to you?"

"I told you it was impossible."

"I'm just saying if."

"I'll be very disappointed in him" Jasper said bluntly.

"Then explain it to Aurora! He loves you!"

"Aurora loves me? It feels impossible" Jasper refuted.

"Nothing is impossible in this world, J! Even Rachel Olivia could be your wife. The offal eater you hate!"

"You don't need to remind me of that!" Jasper pats Archie on the shoulder.

"Then, explain the status of your marriage to Aurora. Don't make your life more complicated!

"OK okay. I'll tell Aurora tomorrow" Jasper agreed.

That day they spent playing games and telling stories as usual. While Rachel, she chose to spend time in the guest room to do her college assignments.

"Rachel?" Call Jasper to his wife who's getting ready to go to college.

"What's wrong?" Rachel smiled at her husband.

"Rachel, we're about to have our wedding a year later. I want to give you something" Jasper took the girl's tiny hand.

"What surprise?" Rachel flowered to hear her husband's words. He did not expect his marriage would soon enter the age of one year marriage.

"I can make my own money."

"You mean?" Rachel did not seem to understand.

"I bought some pretty cheap buildings but potentially with my savings" Jasper began telling me.

"This building will be rented for weddings, birthdays and other major events. The rent money, I'll use it for our lives, so we don't stick to Mama and Papa" explained Jasper who made Rachel sparkle for a moment.

"Certainly that?" Rachel still can't believe it.

"of course. Now we can start living independently."

"Finally! Thank you, Jasper!" Rachel pulled Jasper into her arms.

A flash of Archie's face appeared and asked what if Rachel was lying.

"I hate liars. He won't lie to me. I trust him," Jasper returned his wife's embrace.

"Let's go to college!" Jasper pulled Rachel's hand gently.

"I'll just take a taxi!" Rachel refused.

"I won't let you. Come on!" Jasper pulls Rachel's hand and takes her to the car.

Everyone stared in shock as Rachel got down from Jasper's car. Not only that, the man was seen holding Rachel's hand into the classroom.

"Rachel, Jasper, are you guys dating?" All the classmates scrambled to ask Rachel as well as Jasper who was sitting next to each other.

"Don't do this!" Rachel tried to stay away from her husband. But in vain, the man continued to attract the girl who was already his to always be around him.

"I need an explanation from you, J!" Aurora said with a sad face and emotion. She was like a wife who caught her husband cheating in front of her eyes.

"alright. I'll explain everything" Jasper sighed. Rachel was just silent like an actor who was being judged by a legitimate wife.

Aurora and Jasper choose to speak in the campus garden. Moreover, the place is now in a state of desolation.

Jasper also tells the chronology of his marriage to Rachel.

"Why didn't you tell me a long time ago? I can make a calculation with Alan," Aurora let out her tears. He seemed to be stung by a flow of electricity millions of watts when he heard that Jasper was married, especially his wife was Rachel, the quiet girl who did not stand out in the classroom. The girl who always confronted Jasper.

"I just don't want anyone to know about my marriage."

"J, what have you been thinking of me all this time?" Aurora was getting more and more tears.

"Hey, don't cry!" Jasper tried to calm down the woman he once loved. Or the woman Jasper still loves? I don't know, Jasper himself doesn't know if he still loves Aurora or not.

"I'm sorry! It's all my fault. If only Alan hadn't set you up," Aurora stared bitterly at the man she already loved.

"You're not wrong. Indeed his destiny must be like this" Jasper tried to calm the tearful Aurora.

"Then do you love that girl?" Aurora asked directly to the point.

"But I'm comfortable around him. I can't let him go" Jasper gave his honesty.

"That's not love. It's just like it" Aurora tried to deny Jasper's feelings.

"I have to make sure of it myself."

"Then, what about me?" Aurora's voice was trembling.

"I'm married."

Aurora was silent for a moment. Then he nodded his head.

"You're right. I shouldn't bother someone who's married. Then I wish you a happy marriage, J!" Aurora said with a sigh of joy. After all, he had to accept the harsh reality.

"Blessed, Aurora! I'm sure there will come a man who really loves you" Jasper cupped Aurora's hand.

"You're right. There will be men coming into my life. That's for sure" Aurora tried to smile.

"Then I'm gone. Take good care of your wife!" Aurora stood up from her seat. Then he walked back to Jasper. His tears are back. Jasper just stared at Aurora's back.

"I know you're crying!" Jasper stared at the girl's back until her shadow shrank and was invisible.

A few days later, Jasper sees a major change in Aurora's self. The girl was 100% avoiding her. Jasper understood enough. Maybe Aurora doesn't want to be in someone else's household circle.

"J, only you understand me the most!" Aurora's inner being recalled all of Jasper's attention to her. Now, that attention seemed to be in the wind and flew out of nowhere.

After college, Aurora walked straight to her room. Beverly who already knew about the situation continued to strengthen the princess.

"Mommy, my heart hurts so much!!" Aurora sniffles in her mother's arms. Henry could only look at his wife and son with an unreadable look.

"If you could've been told not to get in touch with Alan, it wouldn't have been like this" Henry finally opened his voice.

"The son of a delinquent trapped Jasper until he had to marry the girl. Of course you're dragged into the vortex of this problem," he added.

"I didn't know Alan was doing such a bad thing," Aurora cried as she pleased.

"I didn't dare to go to Alula. All these problems are rooted in you. If only you had decided on that delinquent, he wouldn't have framed Jasper. And of course you'll get a man as good as him" Beverly responded.

"Mommy, I'm sad. Why are you corrupting me?" Aurora sobbing.

"Mommy just reminds you, not corner you. Learn from every experience. You know, when you were born into this world, Mommy always hoped that you would marry Alula's son. Mommy wants to impress with mommy's best friend" Beverly explained.

"But all is gone. There's no hope for you anymore" Beverly taped her embrace. Trying to give peace to the princess only wayangnya.

"Is there no hope for me at all?" Aurora is still sobbing.

"Never disturb the happiness of others! If you do, Daddy's gonna ruin everything!" Henry passed from his daughter's room.

Rachel was standing in front of the window. He enjoyed the view tonight. Suddenly a pair of burly hands coiled around his waist.

"You haven't slept?" Rachel asked her husband who was hugging her

"Yet. The proof is I'm hugging you" Jasper inhaled deeply the scent of his wife's hair.

"You are!" Rachel chuckles.

"Rachel? Papa and Mama told us to go to Switzerland tomorrow. Do you want to?" Ask Jasper carefully.

"Switzerland?" Rachel turned her body and looked at her husband in disbelief. Switzerland was one of his dream places all along.

"Yes. We're going on our honeymoon there. Papa says if the place is a witness to their love," Jasper nudges Rachel's hair down the back of the sky.

"I'm going there. I want to go with you," Rachel nodded quickly.

"alright. Tomorrow we prepare to go there!" Jasper smile.

Two days later....

Jasper and Rachel just left for Switzerland. Aurora had to break her heart knowing that fact. Rachel and Jasper are on a three-day vacation in a country dubbed paradise.

"My heart hurts so much. But I have to deliver this" Aurora brought two paper bags containing Jasper's books. He had to deliver it because Aurora had promised to return the book.

Aurora comes to the house inhabited by Jasper and Rachel.

"Mr Jasper and Miss Rachel left an hour ago" said an old woman who became an impromptu assistant at the house. She was assigned to take care of Jasper and Rachel's house during the couple's honeymoon.

"I'm just going to deliver these books. Oh yes, I also want to take my books," said Aurora who remembered her notebook is still borrowed by Jasper.

"Then, let my Miss take you to Mr. Jasper's room! I don't know which book," the housekeeper allowed Aurora to pick up her own. He knows who Aurora is.

"All right," Aurora agreed. They went up the stairs and entered Jasper's room.

"Please Miss find your book! I cleaned the window for a minute!" Said the housekeeper as he walked towards the dirty window of Jasper and Rachel's room.

Aurora saw the bookshelf. He immediately recognized the book. He picked up the book quickly as if it was uncomfortable being in Jasper and Rachel's room. As the book was taken away, a piece of paper fell right at his feet.

Aurora looked down and took the paper.

"What's this?" Aurora rounded her eyes as she began to read.

The paper was the marriage contract Jasper had made for Rachel to agree to.

"So, they married contracts?" Aurora's hands trembled reading the words per word, the sentence of the marriage contract's words.

"I still have hope. Come on Jasper, I'll help you out of this shit*n wedding!" Aurora's sigh as she finished reading the marriage contract.
