Placenta Previa

3 months later...

Rachel's body has now reached the age of six months. Every day Jasper always serves all his needs and pamper him. But the woman's heart has not yet melted. She kept quieting her husband. Rachel was afraid of getting hurt for the umpteenth time.

"What else do I have to do?" Jasper looked at the ceiling of his room. He was a little frustrated with Rachel's cold attitude for the past three months.

As Jasper tried to close his eyes, Rachel's voice rang out her name.

"That's Rachel's voice," Jasper opened his eyes immediately.

"Jasper!!" Shouted Rachel louder.

"What's wrong?" Jasper ran out in panic.

"I think I'm bleeding" Rachel said with trembling lips. He is so afraid of bad things happening to the fetus that it contains.

"What bleeding?" Jasper rounded his eyes in panic at Rachel's words.

"It!" Rachel showed me the fresh blood on her c*lana dal.

"We need to get to the hospital!" Jasper swiftly carried his wife and put her in the car.

"Don't speed!" Rachel said while crying. He was very afraid of bad things happening to his baby.

Jasper's lowering the speed of his car. He doesn't want Rachel, the kid-to-be and himself to be wretched. He still wants to make amends and build a happy family with Rachel.

After arriving in front of the emergency room, Jasper immediately took his wife down from the car. Some medics helped Jasper in bringing Rachel. Not long after, Rachel walked into the examination room. Jasper was allowed to wait outside.

"Let me in!" Jasper said to the nurse who was about to close the door of the examination room.

"Please wait outside!" Tell the nurse politely.

Jasper also gave up. He did not want his actions to make Rachel slow to handle. Jasper waited for his wife in a state of anxiety, sadness and carelessness. Jasper continued to walk there and here, hoping for certainty about the state of his wife and future children. It did not take long, Jasper was called to hear the explanation from the doctor.

"So, how is the condition of my wife and the baby in the womb?' Jasper seemed impatient to hear the explanation from Obygyn's specialist.

"In general, the condition of the wife and baby in the womb is in good health. However, there is one problem that causes your wife to bleed" explains the doctor wisely.

"What is that, Doc?" Jasper could not wait to hear the doctor's explanation.

"From the results of the ultrasound examination we have done, your wife has Placenta Previa."

"What is that, Doc?" Jasper didn't seem to understand.

"Placenta Previa is a condition in which the placenta (ari-ari) is below or close to the cervix/cervix. The placenta should be above, but the placenta in your wife's womb is below. From the results of the examination, your wife experienced Placenta Previa type Placenta Previa Totalis, which means the placenta covers the entire cervix or more clearly the Placenta closes the total baby's birth canal," the doctor used words that were easy to understand.

"Then is the bleeding dangerous?" Jasper looked very depressed.

"The bleeding that your wife is experiencing is still a mild stage and not severe bleeding. I recommend not having sex, reducing activity. Or better I suggest your wife bed rest to recover her condition. Because if your wife's doing the activity, worried that the blood will come out again."

"I understand. My wife and baby will be fine, right, Doc?" Jasper.

"of course. Don't stress your wife!" The doctor's orders again.

"Then, how about the delivery later?"

"For how to deliver what will be done, we will determine if it has entered the age of 37 weeks. Your wife's content must be completely monitored to see her condition."

Jasper seemed to understand the explanation of the obygyn specialist. Jasper was also allowed to see the condition of his wife.

"Hey, strong girl! How are you doing?" Jasper said softly.

"Hey, you forgot! I'm not a girl anymore" Rachel laughed weakly.

"I'm really worried about you" Jasper kissed Rachel's forehead possessively.

"What about my baby?" Rachel shed her tears.

"Our baby is in good health. But, the doctor said you should stay in bed and do no activity. You willing?" Jasper said slowly.

"Yes. Even to go to the toilet, I have to carry it."

"Was that bad?" Rachel cried.

"Don't cry!" Jasper wiped the tears on his wife's cheek.

"Nothing bad. Everything's fine. This is done so that no more blood comes out. You want our baby to be healthy and safe until delivery, right?"

Rachel nodded slowly.

"Then, follow all my words! I'll do whatever it takes for you and our baby to be healthy."

Rachel also nodded. He felt that there was no one else he could rely on other than Jasper.

"I want to go home" Rachel whined.

"You're going to have to be hospitalized tonight. Tomorrow we go home," Jasper rubbed Rachel's hair gently.

"You promise we can go home tomorrow?"

"Yes. I promise," Jasper forced his smile. Although he was very worried about the condition of his wife and future baby, but Jasper must be strong and firm in the eyes of Rachel. If she looks weak, who should Rachel lean to? Of course, Rachel has now only her husband, because Rachel has maintained her communication meetings with Daniella.

The next day, Jasper brings home Rachel who has been allowed to go home by the Doctor. Jasper took Rachel with extra care. Jasper put Rachel on the bed. Then he walked out of Rachel's room without saying goodbye.

"Jasper, where are you going?" Rachel asked Jasper unanswered.

A few minutes later, Jasper returned to Rachel's room with his suitcase.

"Why did you bring your suitcase?" Rachel astonished.

"I have to room with you to be able to monitor your condition" Jasper replied seriously.

Rachel did not answer. Jasper must always be by his side, because before he came home, the doctor had warned Rachel to rest completely.

"You hungry?" Jasper asked who was immediately replied by a nod by Rachel.

Jasper went to the kitchen, then returned with a tray of food, water, milk and pregnancy supplements.

"I'm a bribe!" Jasper painstakingly fed his wife.

"When am I like this?" Rachel asked after she finished her lunch.

"Until it's time you give birth."

Rachel glared her eyes in surprise.

"You serious? I have to be like this for the next 3 months?"

"Yes. If you move, it's feared the blood will come out again. Please, this time you obey me. You love our baby you're carrying, right?" Jasper gives understanding.

"of course. Loved her. I'll do anything as long as she's always healthy and safe," a teary-eyed tear escaped Rachel's eyes.

"Thank you for loving him. Thank you for wanting to conceive my son" Jasper hugged Rachel gently. His tears were dripping remembering all the wounds he had once inflicted on his wife's heart.

Rachel silently did not answer. He loved a child whom he had not seen. Just by touching her own stomach, Rachel was so happy. There was a feeling she couldn't explain when her baby-to-be started moving.

"Jasper, I want to take a shower. Please bathe me!" Pinta Rachel made Jasper go wrong.

"Blooding?" Jasper.

"Yes. Didn't you say I can't move. I can't walk even to the bathroom?"

"Yes. Then I'll bathe you," replied Jasper with his heart beginning to cry.
