Let's Get Divorced

Let's Get Divorced
Visit to Jasper's House

Jasper did not say a word to his wife. Now they are on a plane to return to a country that has a form of government in Western Europe. Jasper chose to sleep, he really needed to calm down so as not to be rash in making decisions. Rachel didn't dare say anything anymore. He knew Jasper's mood was bad.

After arriving at Birmingham International Airport, Jasper and Rachel got into a taxi to return home. Again, Rachel was confused as to how she should behave.

Jasper got out of the taxi without waiting for Rachel to get out of the taxi first. Jasper immediately picked up the suitcase in the trunk of the car, paid the taxi driver and went straight into the house. Rachel took a long breath. He knew everything would start from the beginning.

"I'm the one who started, I'm the one who has to finish this, too" Rachel muttered as she lowered her suitcase that the taxi driver had helped her with.

With a shaky and heavy step, Rachel enters the house that has lately become a loving and heartwarming home. For Rachel, Jasper is her home.

"Where are you going?" Rachel said as she watched Jasper carry her suitcase to the guest room downstairs.

"I'm going to go to the room" he replied coldly.

"Isn't your room upstairs?" Rachel walked over to Jasper. He dared to look into those eyes. A pair of eyeballs that lately always looked at him with great hospitality and affection. Now the eyeballs look sad and do not emit warmth as usual.

"That was. From now on my room is that!" Jasper pointed at the guest room door.

"I'm afraid to sleep alone. Can we sleep together again as usual?" Rachel did not abstain from charcoal to be close to her husband again.

"Then start today get used to sleeping alone again! Didn't we sleep separately?" Jasper replied as he pulled his suitcase and passed by Rachel just like that.

"Please don't be like this!" Rachel walked back to her husband. He took Jasper by the hand and kept holding it.

"What do you want me to behave like? You want me to kick you out of this house and divorce you right now?" Jasper releases Rachel's hand in his hand. Rachel swallowed her saliva with difficulty hearing her husband's words.

"Aren't you sorry for me?" Rachel said with tears ready to be shed.

"I need time to digest all this. Please give me some space to think clearly and rationally!" Jasper walked back and entered his new room. The man closed the door and locked it.

"You don't need time. We just need to talk well. I know I'm guilty, but can't you give me a chance?" Rachel knocked on Jasper's door with tears.

"I'm begging you to give me a chance. I'm gonna fix everything, "Rachel's getting sobbing. The woman then collapsed on the doorstep of her husband's room. He leaned over his face and tightened his cries.

"Fixing what you mean? I don't think this is all fixed. We're together because of a lie from you. All this time I've been living the lies you've been making. You tricked me and my family. A relationship that starts with a lie will not go smoothly" Jasper muttered on his bed.

They have returned home from Switzerland. They were silent for a week and did not touch each other. Rachel always tried to get close to her husband, but Jasper seemed to make a long stretch that was difficult for Rachel to penetrate. They live in different worlds under the same roof.

Kai and Alula, who knew that their son had gone home for their honeymoon, decided to meet them, because Jasper and Rachel had not cared about all the messages and calls they had made.

"Rachel!!" Alula exclaimed as she saw Rachel open the door for her.

"Mama, Papa?" Rachel looked at the two in-laws in turn.

"Why is your face lethargic like that? Is my son bothering you?" Kai noticed the look on his daughter-in-law's face.

"Of course not. Your son has never troubled me" Rachel tried to laugh even though the laughter was forced.

"Come on Ma, Pa, let's go in!" Rachel opened the door wide.

"Where's your husband?" Alula's eyes swept through the room looking for the whereabouts of her eldest son.

"He's in his room. Rachel called for a moment" Rachel walked into Jasper's new room.

"You guys moved rooms?" Kai scrunched his forehead as he watched Rachel walk into the room he had once placed CCTV in.

"Don't tell me you're sleeping in a different room!" Alula rounded her eyes.

Rachel did not answer. He does not want to lie by saying that his household is fine. He doesn't want to cover up his lies with other lies.

"I have a problem with Jasper," Rachel said quietly. He does not know what to do if Kai and Alula know the root of the problem with Jasper. Jasper came out of his room when he heard the voices of his parents.

"What problems? What's going on, baby?" Alula asked her son. The look on his face clearly showed a very worried look.

"You better explain, Rachel!" Kai demanded an explanation to Rachel.

"Jasper will explain everything. Rachel go to the kitchen first!" Rachel left them in silence. Rachel was too scared and embarrassed if she told her the real story. Rachel seems to hurt the trust that Alula and Kai gave her.

"You need to explain it immediately! Mama doesn't want your problems to drag on," Alula walked up to the living room couch. He sits there. Jasper and Kai followed.

"So, what's up?" Kai looked impatient.

"Rachel, he's been lying to us!" Jasper looked for oxygen to relieve the tightness in his chest. Sometimes she can't believe Rachel did all that to her.

"When I was in Switzerland we slept together and I found out what was certain. Back then, Rachel was still in a holy state" Jasper explained. He must tell Alula and Kai everything to find the best solution for their marriage.

Kai and Alula looked at each other. They looked shocked to hear Jasper say.

"So, back in the hotel you didn't do anything to her?" Kai asked with a disappointed face.

Jasper has no power to answer. He could only nod his head.

"Why did Rachel do that?" Alula's voice sounded weak.

"Because her brother forced her and because Rachel wanted to quit working at the nightclub."

Alula and Kai were silent. Kai also seems to be confused with the tactics of Daniella and Rachel who escaped his supervision.

"So, Rachel's been lying to us all this time?" Alula clarifies. Jasper also nodded.

"Then, what's your plan?" Kai looked at his son.

"I can't live with a liar. This house starts with a big lie. You guys must understand what I mean!" Jasper gave a very clear answer.

"Mama doesn't like divorce. Let Mama talk to Rachel first," Alula stood up from her seat.

Alula invites Rachel to go to Rachel's room on the second floor. Rachel followed her in-laws. Rachel looked at the back of the middle-aged woman who was walking before her, there was no more hospitality on Alula's face at the moment.

Alula closed the door as they were already inside the room. Alula looked at her daughter-in-law with an unreadable gaze and was difficult to interpret.

"Why? Why do you have to lie to us?" Alula asked the subject.

"Ma, I'm sorry!" Rachel started sobbing. He knows that his mistake was fatal. He not only lied to Jasper, but also lied to Jasper's extended family.

"I'm asking you, Miss Rachel Olivia! Why are you lying to us?" Alula repeated her question.

"Because my brother told me to lie. My brother threatened me to return me to Bulgaria if I told him the truth. I didn't want my parents to sell me out there again, Ma," Rachel wiped away her tears that were rushing down her cheeks.

"You saved yourself but didn't think about my son. Why are you so selfish, Rachel? Why don't you think about Jasper too? You sacrificed my son for your sake," Alula stared intently at her son-in-law.

"I was just scared, Mom. I'm afraid brother Daniella sent me home to Bulgaria. I also want to live a normal life like my age. I don't want to work continuously at the club. I'm afraid something bad happens to me if I keep working there. Therefore, I prefer to follow big brother's words," Rachel replied in a hoarse voice.

"So, you want to hitchhike to my son? You want to quit your job by hitchhiking to my son? That so?" Alula.

"So, all this ends up being because of money?" He asked again that so cut Rachel's heart.

"I just want to get out of that place, Ma."

"But not at the expense of my son, Rachel!" Alula raised her voice.

"Rachel? Do you know how many tears my eyes fell when my son was about to marry you? Do you know the upheaval that was going on in our family back then? Do you have any idea how hard my husband convinced his parents to marry Jasper at such a young age?" Alula let out her tears reminiscing about the events that had passed.

"You know how many days I cried because I had to part with my son that soon.18 years old, but he had to marry a woman he didn't love. You should know how I feel when I have to take my son off so fast. I was only with him for 18 years. I forced her to marry you and held her accountable for things she never did" Alula wiped her tears.

"When I saw her marry you, I was so happy. But on one hand I was hurt to see it all. I was sick because my son had to leave the house so soon. I was sick to see my son packing all his things and coming out of our house at a very young age" Alula looked at Rachel tearfully.

"My son's goal is to continue his studies in Finland. Then went to America and studied there and worked at the World Bank. Then, he always said he wanted to establish an igloo home business in Iceland. My son also wants to set up a hospital to help people. But when he decided to marry you, my son buried all his dreams. Even to support you, he bought some buildings to rent to others with the money he saved from SD. His life changed when he married you. But why did you disappoint him? Before I knew you, my son loved a girl. For your sake, my son forgot his feelings for the girl and tried to love you. You don't know how tormented Jasper was when I told him to forget Aurora," Alula looked at Rachel with a wound.

"Ma, please forgive me!" Rachel stood up from her seat and she knelt at Alula's feet.

"I'm sorry! I don't know what to say right now except sorry! I'm sorry I lied to you, Jasper, papa and all, '" Rachel sobbed as she gathered.

"Wakeup! This is not what I expected!" Alula wakes Rachel up from her position.

"Then, what does Mama want? If I get divorced, I can't. I love your son so much" Rachel cried so much.

"I am also not ready to bear the title of widow at my very young age, Ma."

"Bod*oh! I didn't ask you to divorce my son. I really don't like farewells" Alula said with an indecipherable look on her face.

Rachel also looked confused by her in-laws.

"My son sacrificed everything to marry you. Don't let it all go to waste! Start again from the beginning and reclaim his heart! It might be harder right now, but you have to try it!" Alula passed by leaving Rachel.
