Jasper felt a red stain on his bed sheet. While his wife was taking a bath to clean her body after their hot romance.
"I've never done it with any woman before you, but I'm not that stupid. Obviously I know you're still a saint" Jasper stared at the red stain that meant Rachel had just released her chastity to him.
"His entire time lying to me?" Jasper's lips are vibrating. He covered the red stain with a tissue, then he walked to the balcony to look for oxygen to relieve the rumbling on his chest.
"You want to take a shower?" Rachel asked who had just come out of the bathroom. However, she did not find her husband there.
Rachel took the clothes and put them on. He knew where Jasper was.
"Aren't you cold?" Rachel approached her husband, who was standing on the balcony.
Jasper did not answer. Rachel's feeling is getting worse. When making love earlier, Rachel was indeed afraid her secret would be revealed.
"Did Jasper know?" Rachel asked in her heart.
Silent. None of them spoke. Only the gusts of wind in spring sounded soft, sweeping the two people who were in the middle of the thickets of feelings that raged incoherently in his heart.
"Why are you lying to me?" Jasper asked himself. He must get an explanation from Rachel. The man did not want the problem to last longer. He walked up to Rachel and stood right in front of her.
"You mean?" Rachel did not dare look Jasper in the eye.
"Gear me!" Jasper's voice sounded firm. Rachel raised her head. He looked at that face. A visible face signifies deep disappointment.
"Why are you lying to me?" Jasper repeated his question.
"I don't understand what you mean. Come on in, it's cold!" Rachel was about to walk away from Jasper, but the man's arm quickly stopped her steps.
"I knew you had just given up your chastity for me. So, you've been lying to me all this time? It was at that hotel, so we didn't? What are you lying for?" Jasper flings Rachel with several questions at once.
Rachel seemed to be in a very heavy situation. Her little secret was known to her husband. But, Rachel until now was still quite calm. He thought Jasper would accept all explanations from him.
"I'm sorry! I was forced to do so because sister forced me," Rachel launched the truth sentence she had been keeping in a meeting.
"Why did your brother force you?" Jasper was afraid Rachel would answer it all because of money.
"Please don't tell me about money or you and your brother want to live a good life!" Please Jasper. He was so afraid that Rachel had been looking at him just because of the material. Because if that happens, of course he will hate the woman in front of him.
"Because my brother wants us to live better and I want to stop working as nightclub waitresses!" Rachel spoke the truth again.
The deg!!
Jasper's heart was jolted. Finally, the sentence came out of his wife's lips.
"So it's all because of the money? I hate realistic women!" Jasper smiled cynically. He shook his head as if he could not believe it.
"I'm sorry! My brother threatened to send me back to Bulgaria if I didn't want to cooperate with him" Rachel's face flushed red. He was so scared of losing Jasper. Rachel thought it was a small matter and Jasper would understand it.
"Why? Why am I the one you sacrificed? You know, I was willing to throw away my youth to marry you. I was willing to part with both of my parents" Jasper's eyes turned red. It was really like losing faith in the woman who was now in front of him.
"I didn't mean to lie to you. I'm sorry!" Rachel was crying in front of Jasper.
"Don't mean to lie to me? You've been lying to me!!" Jasper raised his voice.
"What else do you want to say? Do you want to say that you're working with Alan Addison to set me up?" Shouted Jasper who was squealing in Rachel's ear.
"I lied to you. However, I wasn't that bad working with Alan," Rachel replied dislikefully as Jasper accused her.
"You know? I've tried and accepted our marriage. I have learned to love you and will always accept your presence by my side. But what you've done to me is so evil!" Tears came from the man's eyes. Rachel gasped when she saw her husband crying.
"I wasted my youth by marrying you. I parted ways with both of my parents in order to build an independent household with you. I let Aurora go and took her off and tried to love you. It's all because I cherish our marriage, even though at first I thought I'd divorce you. But why would you reply to him with a lie like this?" Jasper held onto Rachel's shoulder and shook her slowly.
"So you regret marrying me?" Rachel took Jasper's hand off his shoulder.
"Rachel, if nothing happened that night, I wouldn't have married you. You know that too" Jasper chimed in with a sinister aura.
"Where are you going?" Rachel shouted as Jasper stepped out of her legs leaving herself on the balcony.
Jasper took his coat. Then the man came out of the hotel room so he could think clearly. Jasper needs time alone to calm down and also his heart is currently injured.
"Where are you going? Don't leave me alone!" Rachel pursued her husband's steps.
"I'll be back. I need space to think" Jasper said without looking at his wife.
"Jasper, did I make a mistake?" Rachel looked at Jasper's back which was getting further away.
"Papa, Mama, Switzerland is not my lucky place. I'm even wounded in this country" Jasper muttered as he left the hotel.
***
Rachel cried all night, her eyes looking so swollen. His various feelings were so mixed. She was so worried about the whereabouts of her husband who was out of nowhere. Rachel called her husband. However, the man's cell phone number could not be reached. Rachel also fears Jasper coming home and leaving her in this foreign country.
"Jasper, go!" Rachel wiped away the tears as if she couldn't stop coming out.
At night, someone opened the door. It was Jasper who had just returned home after disappearing all night.
"Where have you been? I'm worried about you. Where did you sleep?" Rachel hugged Jasper. However, the man did not return the hug nor the question. Jasper walked towards the closet and opened the small closet.
"Why did you take your clothes out?" Rachel looked at Jasper who put all his clothes in the suitcase.
"I want to go home!" Jasper.
Rachel did not ask any more. She knew her husband's heart was really bad. Rachel quickly picked up her suitcase and stuffed her clothes and belongings.
Jasper was silent. He doesn't think Rachel is around him.
"Please don't leave me like this!" Rachel's murmured as heard by Jasper.
"There's something you don't know about me. From then until now, I hated lies. The smallest lie, I hate it. Once the man lies, I won't believe him anymore" those words just slid from Jasper's lips.
Rachel froze where she stood. Has he lost everything now? The woman was crying without a sound. She followed her husband out of the hotel room with the suitcase she was carrying. This time it was different, Rachel pulled her own suitcase, usually Jasper who would carry her and Rachel's luggage at once.
"Can't my actions be forgiven?" Rachel stared at the lights on St. Moritz is so blinding to the eye.
