Letter to Atlanta
13. Salads

In front of the large glass, Jay still faithfully combed the hair that looked a little wet repeatedly, fearing that the hairdo would change if he did not comb it longer, although she actually has hair that is easy to take care of. Not forgetting she hummed a little, smiling towards the glass flaunting holes in both of her cheeks that were out of the question to whom.

Jay glanced at the wall clock set above the bedroom door. It was still very early in the morning for him to go to school, usually he was very lazy to get out of bed at hours like this. She would only wake up when her mother woke her up with the words of a pearl that often slid from the mouths of mothers without a brake. But this time, Jay felt given an excessive intake of energy and enthusiasm. He immediately put on his grey hoodie jacket, draped his backpack and exited the room down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Bi, the same vegetables that Jay bought earlier are still there, right?" he asked the man after he arrived in the kitchen. Bi Mirna allowed a quick glance.

"So, why Jay? What do you want Auntie to do?" bi Mirna. The woman raised the pot, poured the chicken soup into a clear glass bowl.

"Jay wants to make salad, Bi." The man opened the fridge, picked up some fresh vegetables and fruits that he accidentally bought himself last night at the supermarket.

"Before a minute, let Auntie makein," Bi Mirna said after seeing the man wash all the ingredients in the sink.

Jay shakes a short. "Father, let Jay do it himself. Aunty continues to prepare breakfast for Mom and Dad. Jay can make it really," he said while continuing to wash fruits and vegetables.

The woman just sighed, letting Jay do her own thing, she left the kitchen with breakfast for her employer's family.

"Jay, I thought where you were. I went to the room, you weren't there" said his mother, who had just arrived still in her pajama suit.

The man did not reply, only turned his head and smiled broadly in response to his mother who was now standing at the side with a peeking look. Hana was still paying attention to Jay's activities, cutting fruits and a little vegetables, putting them in the lunch box very neatly.

"Kok tumben early in the morning already awake? Usually it must be the first mother who wakes you up. Who did you make that for?" Hana gave a series of questions at once. He himself was surprised by his son who suddenly made his own salad, usually the man did not want to bother and chose to order or ask Bi Mirna for help to make something.

Hana follows wherever Jay goes, even as Jay turns to the marble table to add mayonnaise and cheese grater, Hana follows suit.

"What a hell, Mom. Again I want to," Jay said. He still remains focused on making salad for his childhood friend.

The woman pulled next to the eyebrows, not disbelieving Jay's words, just that she felt something different, how she saw Jay's appearance that looked very neat, fragrant perfume that was very bubbly.

"Lying, let's say, make your girlfriend?" Hana tickled Jay's waist, making the man chuckle, laughing lightly. "Mom's son started a girlfriend."

Jay just smiled awkwardly, his ears turned red, indicating the man was holding something thrilling in the chest area.

"Don't you have a boyfriend?"

"No, Ma. This is for Elisa."

"Whose elisa?" Hana hung her chin on the marble table, waiting for Jay's answer who was still busy preparing her own homemade salad.

Jay sighed, then closed the lunch box. "Elisa, Mum. Mom forgot. Temen Jay as a child, our neighbor first, Mr. Pratama's son."

Hana frowned a little while. "Oh! That naughty girl, who's a model now?"

"Naughty, Mom. Elisa is a jail." Buy off. Jay stuffed the lunch box into the backpack, cradled the black backpack and grabbed Mom's hand, dipping it short. "Jay go first. Jay has breakfast at school. Bye, Mom." Hana nodded, looking at Jay's wide back that was getting out of the reach of her eyes.

.......

The time has shown at 07:10, there are already many students who come to school. Several times Jay kindly returned the greeting or smile that the girls threw when they came into contact with the man. It's not taboo anymore if Jay is one of the most popular and influential male students in school. Not only handsome in terms of physical, men who hold the title Prince from Buana High School managed to score several achievements in the academic and non-academic fields.

From a distance, Jay's two perfectly rounded black-eye beads were fixed on the luxury car that had just sped through the gate. The beautiful smile that belonged to the simple man was printed back, even more beautiful than usual.

The beautiful girl who had just shown her legs, smiled broadly at her, ran over to Jay, hugging the man enthusiastically.

"Jay! I'm glad we got one school. We can be together again" said Elisha after releasing his embrace.

Jay scrambles Elisha's black mane which is left unraveled. "me too. Come on, come in." The man turned to hold Elisha's hand, linking his fingers there.

Along the corridor, it was obvious that many pairs of eyes were paying attention to their closeness to the questioning gaze. Sometimes the two throw jokes at each other, the grip of the hand that never comes off like a pair of lovers managed to invite a warm topic that will later bear gossip. Unfortunately, neither Jay nor Elisha cared or were aware of the envious gazes of those who saw the interaction.

"I have something for you" said Jay in the middle of the journey, making his second steps just stop.

The man let go of his hand, then turned to open the backpack, picking up something he had prepared this morning. Elisa still pays attention to Jay's activities.

"Here, for you. You can't just snack." Jay gives a lunch box filled with salad to the girl in front. Elisha smiled warmly at her.

"Without kiwis?"

"Of course! I know you don't like kiwis" she replied.

The girl stared at the contents inside the lunch box, it just so happened that she had not had time to eat breakfast, and the reason is especially if not to wake up late, plus Yunaka always babbles every morning, and the reason is that she does not have breakfast, making Elisa lazy to give the stomach intake of one piece of bread available on the dining table.

"Jay" said Elisha very slowly. "Is this not mostly?"

The man in front laughed lightly. "Well, is that a lot? You used to like to eat two servings, even you like nyomot got me too," he said.

The girl let out a light breath, looking at the tall man who was still loyal giving her a smile. "Jay, now that I'm a model, I can't eat much."

Jay nodded lightly and poked his lips, patting Elisha's shoulder lightly. "Non-cabesine is also gapapa,"

Elisha quickly shook his head, his index finger raised and moved several times. "Jay, I don't like wasting food, redundant. I'd better share with you, would you?"

Once again Jay broke the top of Elisha's head, then smiled broadly. "Bby dong. Who is your friend?"

"Atlanta."
