Letter to Atlanta

Letter to Atlanta
31. Recognition

"Atlanta! Wait up!" The inexhaustible cry of Elisha called out the name of the man who was then walking quickly to avoid his pursuit since the break bell rang.

He was like he was paying attention to his ears when a thunderous sound filled the eardrum, buzzing along with the echoes in the school hallway. Atlanta still does not care about Elisha who has been decapitated for chasing him.

Ah, is that guy too much? Even since her arrival to school, her iris was presented with an unusual sight, where Elisha was being embraced by Jay, and managed to make a raging feeling.

He should have been self-conscious, Elisha was compatible with his sister. Handsome and accomplished men like Jay are well deserving of everything he wants. And a beautiful girl like Elisha does not deserve to be with her, the mute.

Bruk!

"Aw!"

He choked, his gaze turned quickly when he heard a voice screeching from behind. Practically he rounded his eyes, immediately ran up to Elisha who was sitting on the floor while grimacing holding his palm.

The girl smacked her lips as Atlanta cleaned her slightly dirty palms, wiping them with a worried look. In the next instant, Atlanta frowned, staring at the wound-scarred goal on Elisha's palm. A scratch that was about to dry was clearly plastered in front of his eyes.

"What wound is this?"

Elisha immediately pulled her hand when he understood Atlanta's question, he immediately stood up, which was followed by Atlanta at that very instant.

"Why do you avoid me anyway? Are you angry with me?"

The eyes of the man were still fixed on Elisha's slightly clenched hand. Many questions that he actually wanted to say, before Elisha finally chose to hide his hands back, automatically making the man throw a slow breath.

"Don't follow me. You better go to the cafeteria."

After that, Atlanta turned around again, her legs moving again leaving Elisa. Not the name Elisha if you give up easily. The girl kept following Atlanta to where the man was stepping.

The school park is the destination of Atlanta. It seems that it has become a habit of the man to spend a lot of time there. Very rarely do people visit the place, for some reason.

Atlanta immediately sat on the chair after seeing Elisa who was still following her. He chose to bow his head, play his fingers.

With a slow pace, Elisha walked over to Atlanta, sitting next to the man with a guilty feeling. He knew why Atlanta was acting the way it was.

For a few seconds, both were silent. Atlanta with her inner still wondering about feelings that were hard to decipher, and Elisa with her confused thoughts to start a conversation.

"Ehmm ... You're angry, huh?"

Shut up, Atlanta didn't respond to anything. He himself did not know what he was feeling. Getting angry? No. gabe. Disappointed? Not particularly. Of jealousy? Could he have such feelings?

"Sorry."

Her intuition moved quickly, Atlanta turned her head, looking at Elisha who had since returned her eyes.

"I should have said this from yesterday" he said with a guilty tone there.

"You know, I've known Jay for a long time."

Atlanta nodded, she took a slow breath, both corners of her lips were interested. Although there was a sense of unwillingness, Atlanta realized, she should not be selfish. Moreover Elisha was his only friend, he only wanted the best for the girl.

"I know. You don't have to apologize. Jay is good, you didn't choose wrong. I'm happy, too,"

Elisa knitted her brows, staring at Atlanta in confusion. The man beside her chose to lower his head, still with a smile line on his lips.

"What do you mean? Not wrong what to try?"

He chose to raise his shoulders, breathing out like releasing something stifling his chest, making the frown on Elisha's forehead even more noticeable.

The next second the girl let out a laugh, pushed Atlanta's arm until the man flinched, and inevitably she saw how Elisa let out a tickling laugh, tears gathered in the corner of her eyes.

Elisha wiped it with the back of his hand after being content to laugh at something funny enough for him, then said, "You really believe the news? If I'm really dating Jay?"

Atlanta nodded her head twice very slowly, confirming Elisa's speech at the time.

"Everyone at this school knows you're Jay's girlfriend."

Understanding Atlanta's hand movements, Elisa chuckled small, her tiny hand moving slowly down the cheek of Atlanta.

"You are so funny." he said, who managed to make the area of the man's chest pounding, he shifted his buttocks to a little far away from the seat with Elisha, afraid if the girl heard her fast racing heartbeat even though it felt impossible.

For a while, Atlanta could only look at Elisha's round eyes, before a beautiful line on her lips was recreated.

"I told you, Jay's a good boy. Jay is also very smart, you're lucky. I'll support you."

Elisa gave a lip, she shifted more and more docked with Atlanta after being deliberately spaced by the man, then brought her face closer to the ear of Atlanta.

"You're jealous, huh?" His whisper was accompanied by the slanted smile he made.

Atlanta rounded her eyes, her body suddenly stiffened. He immediately shook his head, accompanied by a fast-moving hand intending to say no. It was the first lie he ever did.

"But I'm not dating Jay."

He immediately pulled next to the eyebrows, what did the girl mean? A confused look was clearly drawn on his face.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes .. I mean that, actually I'm the same Jay just dating a boyan."

Elisha turned his eyes to the front, when he noticed a change in Atlanta's countenance. He was not at all surprised that it turned out that, far ahead, many disciples were watching the two of them while whispering to each other.

Feeling that she had not given a complete answer, Elisha turned to folding hands, still with a straight forward view, then said, "That time, that time, Jay asked me to be his pretend girlfriend so I could avoid his ex-girlfriend. I don't think there's any harm in helping Jay."

In silence, Atlanta was only able to smile. There was a sudden sense of relief healing the tightness that had been filling his chest cavity ever since. One sentence that is able to wet the recesses of the heart like rain that flushes the barren land.

"Everything, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before" said Elisha as he turned back to the man beside whom he was the object.

Unexpectedly, a few moments while turning his head, an unusual thing was clearly imprinted on Atlanta's face, practically the girl chuckled again. Elisha cupped the cheeks of the Atlanta kingpin, making the empress freeze unable to do anything, staring at Elisha's obsidian without blinking.

"Your cheeks are red." Elisa paused her speech, she switched to sticking the back of her hand on Atlanta's forehead. "You are not sick."

The man nodded, and he put Elisha's hand away slowly. Back with the oddity that had somehow come out of her mouth, Elisa widened the corner of her lips when she caught Atlanta looking agitated herself.

"You jealous say it every time. I know it." Goda.

"No. I'm not jealous,"

"Lied."

"No."

Although the man insisted on saying no, but he was sure, there was something that made Atlanta's cheeks look a little flushed. Ah, that man is so adorable, even he is not too smart to hide his pleasure after hearing Elisha's words a moment ago.

"You just calm down. I might not like other people. Because I just like you."

Atlanta slightly opened her mouth in disbelief. Did he not hear wrong?

The girl immediately bit her lower lip, closing her eyes tightly, the hand that had been idle she had used to squeeze the fabric of the skirt as a sacrifice because she deeply condemned her stupidity.

"Eng .. I mean. Don't misunderstand me first."

"Then?"

The contents of his head suddenly turned, looking for a sentence that might reduce nervousness, or looking for reasons for his words that were then spoken spontaneously.

"Atlanta, Elisha."

Both of them turned to the source of the sound. A female teacher, rather their homeroom teacher was walking over. They immediately moved before the teacher first arrived in front of the two.

"It just so happens to meet here. You guys got some free time?" her question was accompanied by a friendly smile from the woman.

"What's wrong, Mom?" said Elisha.

"I need to be with you both." He paused his words for a few seconds. "It's better if we just talk in the teacher's room, how?"

They both nodded. His legs moved following where the teacher in front walked first. There was an uncomfortable feeling lodged in the minds of the two. Are they doing something wrong again? Will the teacher punish them?

Halfway to the teacher's room, Elisha whispered, saying, "What are we doing is trouble again?"
