Letter to Atlanta

Letter to Atlanta
46. Is covering something

"Els? Why isn't breakfast eaten?" vina said when she saw her son just stirred vegetable soup with rice without intending to eat it.

"You sick, hm?"

Elisha raised his head, his eyes looking at Mama with guilt. After thinking about the doctor's diagnosis yesterday, despite turning the brain a thousand times, the girl still found no way out about whether she should tell her family all or not.

"Well, Bang, if Elisha dies how?"

"Hus! Don't say that, not good," Joni said for a moment.

"Yes, El. Don't talk about dying. Rich would go." Yunaka chimed again, both looking at Elisha like Vina and Joni.

The girl sighed, lowered her head again.

"But all humans will die. Elisha is just that."

"Mama must be very sad." Vina paused her speech, the woman reached for Elisha's hand, clasping the tiny hand of her still-subdued son, not knowing what the girl was thinking. "It's not just Mama. Papa, Bang Joni, Bang Yunaka, your friends, everything will be sad."

Elisha was silent, he chose to look at the hand of Vina who was still faithfully stroking the back of his hand.

"From the results of the examination, you have pain, stage 4 kidney failure."

The doctor's words yesterday always revolved in his brain without being ordered. His illness that had entered stage 4 had never imagined it would hit his mind and mind so hard. What if later he had to undergo dialysis, or how later he had to undergo a kidney transplant if his internal organs stopped functioning, or more to raise it again what if he would die from the disease.

"Why? Any problems at school?"

The girl raised her head again, looking one by one at the people who were looking at her. The atmosphere of breakfast suddenly became very quiet, no one escaped the thought of carelessly guessing the meaning of Elisha's words that were too unusual.

He chose to smile, then shook his head. The girl did not want her words to make Mama and her Sisters worried. He alone bears everything himself.

"Father. Last night Elisha had a nightmare, Elisha had a dream. So until the thought, what if later Elisha died," he said as he began to feed the rice into his mouth until full.

"Konon said, if we dream of dying, it means long life." Yunaka is back. "Well, Bang?"

Joni who felt called to take a look. "Yay, that's it." The man then returned with his activities, spending breakfast which appeared a few more spoons.

"But, El. Than the first you who died, mending me first deh."

Elisa knitted her eyebrows. "Why?"

"I can't live without you. Jiaakhs!" He laughed loudly. As a result Elisha returned with his mainstay style, fist in the air while throwing the available grapes on the table.

"Damn lo, Bang."

Vina and Joni were only able to shake their heads and laugh lightly. It has become a routine habit of Elisha and Yunaka throwing jokes and swearing at each other.

"Oh yeah, El. Piano pesenan you rich later in the afternoon come deh," said Joni when he saw the notification from his phone.

"Totally cute bang, Bang?"

"Yes dong. Brother went straight to the factory." Joni smiled proudly, then gulped down the water in her tall clear glass.

"Crazy! You buy a piano? Make what?" yunaka said, even the male's eyeballs were perfectly rounded.

"Make it in the lick, in the swivel, keep it in the dip." Elisha stared flatly at Yunaka. "Yes do piano practice, Bang. Now that I'm into music, I want to learn piano."

"Don't play piano, play pianika aja lo still belepotan, El. Didn't you know when you were a kid?" Yunaka again chuckled, while recalling her childhood memory.

"Here you go, Bang. I will prove that I can play the piano" said the girl with confidence.

Hearing him, Vina was only able to let out a slow breath. He looked gently at his daughter, then said, "Mama support you, El. What matters is that you are serious about your choices. Do not stop in the middle. Make Mama, Papa, your brothers proud, yes."

Elisha nodded steadily, he went back to eating his food voraciously.

"Well, today's holiday, Elisa also has no schedule for shooting, can not Elisa play to the house? His house in our former home complex is loh."

"Which "your friends? Jay?"

"No, classmate Elisa. His name is Atlanta."

.......

.......

.......

The girl was still walking through the asphalt streets of her residential complex first. Under the blazing sun, not a single bit gave up on finding the address of the Atlanta house that he himself did not know where.

Countless people had met to ask him where Atlanta was, and none of the people he met knew or even knew who Atlanta was. Lest the man always confine himself until the inhabitants of the complex do not recognize him.

Next to the hand that had been perched at the waist, now turns docked above the forehead to cover the increasingly stinging sunlight.

"Udah want to nyampe Jay's house but why haven't you met Atlanta house huh? Oh, my God, where the hell is Atlanta's house," he said, stomping his legs back. It could be that he is looking for a person's house without knowing more clearly where, alone anyway.

Elisha stopped his steps as he stood in front of Jay's fence. "Jay has not come home yet? If you're home, I can ask you to come to Atlanta."

For a moment, he noticed the sizable two-story house in front of him. It still looks the same, hasn't changed a bit since he decided to move first.

"Bi Mirna?" Her great-granddaughter when her irises caught the figure of a half-century-old woman carrying two large black crackle bags that seemed like trash to throw away.

His smile widened, clearly he never forgot about the woman. "BI MIRNA!"

Bi Mirna turned her head, at a girl who was waving in front of the fence. He squinted his eyeballs to see more clearly who the girl was.

"Who?" Bi Mirna again stepped foot closer to Elisha who was still smiling at him.

"Bi, it's me, Elisha!" sahut the girl in front intended to answer Bi Mirna's forehead wrinkle that had suddenly been printed.

"God! Neng Elisha?!" Quickly Bi Mirna immediately opened the gate. The woman stared in disbelief at the figure of the girl who was now standing in front of her.

"Aunt how are you?" Elisha asked with a gentle smile.

Bi Mirna just nodded, still looking at the beautiful face of Elisha was very late, and a thin smile was now imprinted on the woman's face. He turned to cupping Elisha's cheek, even the look of his face should be drawn there.

"Is this really you, Neng Elisa?" Both of Bi Mirna's eyeballs turned teary. Practically making Elisha wonder, what's wrong with that woman?

"Yes Bi, this is Elisa."

Bi Mirna sobbed, apparently the woman was unable to stem the tears that wanted to be released from her hiding place.

"Bi? Aunt why? How did Aunt cry? Elisa's got it wrong with Auntie?" elisa panicked.

He shook his head, denying Elisha's words. He again widened his smile, reassuring the girl in front that he was fine.

"You're big, beautiful. And it turns out you're getting more like Auntie's acquaintance?"

"Oh yeah? Who is it, Bi?"

Atlanta would be happy to see Elisha.

Oh my God, there's nothing different between Elisha and Hani. He believes Atlanta will be very happy to meet people who are very similar to their mother.

"Bi? Auntie, how dumb?"

Elisha nodded enthusiastically, the girl was both swinging her legs together with Bi Mirna who led her into the house.

"Sir! Someone wants to see you!" sahut Bi Mirna called Rudi who had not been seen the trunk of his nose.

Before long, Rudi came out from inside his room in a casual suit. He massaged his temple because of dizziness with a downcast look.

"Who, Bi?"

"Neng Elisa's. Temen Jay as a child, sir."

The man then raised his head, looking at the person Bi Mirna mentioned himself. Unexpectedly, a look of surprise was imprinted on the tired face of the man. He chose to walk quickly to Elisha who gave a friendly smile to him.

"Elisa?"

"Yes, Dad. It's Elisha. You forgot about Elisha?"

Rudi immediately hugged Elisha tightly. Instantly, his eyeballs heated up, he tried desperately to hold back the tears from coming out.

Hani, you're finally home.

"Elisa misses Daddy." Said the girl while replying to the warm embrace of the man she already considered like her own father.

Rudi nodded. "Dad misses you too, son." The man let go of his embrace, then said again, "How are you? Healthy?"

"Elisa's healthy, Dad. Here, try to see." The girl stretched out her hands, telling Rudi that she was very kind.

The man there chuckled, breaking Elisha's black hair in a fit of anxiety. To her, Elisha remained like a little girl.

"Oh yes, Bi. Please make Elisha mango juice, yes. Don't be so sweet. Keep not forgetting, all snacks," said Rudi who was given a nod Bi Mirna. The woman turned away from the living room to the kitchen.

"Dad still craves mango juice."

"Yes dong, I won't forget. You're Dad's favorite daughter."

Both laughed lightly. "Here El, sit down first. Said Jay's coming home soon."

The girl nodded, she landed her butt on the soft sofa, sitting next to Rudi. Elisha immediately spread his gaze to every corner of the room like he was looking for something.

"Where's mom going, Dad? How not to look?"

The man sighed before answering. "Hana went to Bogor again. Hangout bias is the same with the amendments."

Elisha nodded, smacking his lips. But he was a little relieved, because the woman who has the status of wife of Rudi was always seen to give a flat look at him a long time ago, he still remembered that, and I don't know what the cause of the woman seemed to dislike him.

"El ... How are you Papa doing, Mama with your brothers?"

"Everything's good, Dad. It just so happens that Papa again has business in Kalimantan. Sometimes I play to Elisha's new house, not far away, Elisa's house in Asri's housing number 127."

"Yes, definitely, I'll have Jay's dad playing at your house, yeah."

"DAD! MAMA! JAY'S HOME!"

Both of them turned to the source of the sound. The handsome man entered the house with quick steps. Elisha straightened up, stood up.

"ELISA?!" Sontak Jay ran to Elisha when his vision caught the figure of the girl who was pulling both corners of the lips.

"Jay! You managed to win?" elisha said when he saw the medal hanging around Jay's neck, as well as the big cup that the man was holding.

"Yes El, I've become a champion!"

"You're great Jay! I'm proud of you!" Elisha hugged Jay with happiness.

"Jay, congratulations, you are the greatest of Dad's children" Rudi said, patting Jay's shoulder so proudly. "You know, I'm continuing to work again. Tomorrow I have a meeting."

Jay and Elisha replied to Rudi with a nod. They are very familiar with his father's activities as the Manager of the company. After Rudi disappeared from their sight, even Bi Mirna who served mango juice with a snack on the table.

"El, I clean up first, yeah. This is Abis we're having lunch together, okay?"

Elisha nodded, then replied, "Yes Jay. I'm here to ask for your help, too."

"What help, hm?"

"You take a shower first. I'll tell you later."

The man smiled gently, rubbing the top of Elisha's head before he turned his body away to his room on the second floor. Elisa again sat down on the sofa, drinking mango juice made by Bi Mirna who became her favorite since childhood.

Ccfc .. cklek

Elisha turned his head when he heard the sound of the door being opened and then closed again. Is that Jay? Is that guy done with the show? It was just a few minutes ago. He's still quiet, who knows it's Jay.

Cclek

The voice sounded again. Elisha soon moved from sitting. His legs invited the girl to approach the origin of the voice. Slowly, Elisha began to climb the stairs to the second floor. However, what he saw was Jay's tightly shut bedroom door, he let out a heavy breath.

Clamps

He turned his head quickly when he heard the door that had just closed. Right in the room next to Jay's. Curiosity enveloped his mind. He stepped back, closer to the door that caught his attention.

If there is a person inside, who is that person? Remembering at home there was only Jay, Rudi and Bi Mirna who he knew were in the kitchen.

For a moment, he was silent at the door. What's he supposed to do? The girl moved to close her ears to the door. Silent. Then her slender hand tried to grab the door knob.

"Elisa?"

He jumped, turning his gaze back to reveal a tall man standing with his hair still wet.

"What are you doing here?"

"So I saw this door open and close by itself. Is there anyone in Dalem?"

Jay looked at Elisha quite flatly. The man was silent, clenching his jaw.

"Who's Jay?"

"not nobody. That's Bi Mirna's sodara coming here."

Elisha just smelled lips. Digesting Jay's words that might have a point.

"Oh yeah, Jay. I said, I need your help?" Jay nodded, Elisha said again, "I need your help to run to the Atlanta house. He said his house was in this complex, but until now I haven't found his house. You want to help me get some help, don't you? You know, I'm worried, he's sick, I want to look."

"I don't know." Jay replied instantly, practically making Elisa knit an eyebrow.

"Yes we're both looking, Jay, who knows—"

"I said I don't know, Elisha! And I don't want to!" His touch. The man turned around, descending the stairs down in a hurry.

Inevitably Elisha followed Jay, although he was still surprised by Jay's words earlier. The girl immediately blocks Jay's arm until the two face each other.

"Jay, but Atlanta meets me. When you don't want to help me just find her house anyway."

"I don't care about Elisha. Don't waste your time trying to find her while you don't know where she is. Don't be happy, tomorrow will be school."
