Chapters 186. Red Rose.
Riyan completely changes after learning of Fara's pregnancy. He who had always been stiff and flat when faced with everyone, looked so friendly that day. His unusual attitude made all the karyawan in his office feel confused. Especially his secretary who always wanted to know anything he did not know.
"Good day sir." Said Riyan's secretary after seeing Riyan come out from inside her study.
"Yes, noon." Riyan replied with a friendly smile.
"Is all the work done?" Riyan asked with a tone of voice that sounded so friendly.
"My work is still quite a lot sir." Answer Secretary.
"Who asked for your job? I asked for me. Are there any files I need to sign?" Asked Riyan who started to act flat.
"There is no sir. I put it all on my desk." Secretary's word.
"I have signed everything. If it's not there, I'm going to go straight home." Said Riyan which made the woman in front of him instantly look at him confused.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with me?" Riyan asked with a frown so unpleasant.
"I just feel weird, sir. The file is a lot, ko can be completed in just a few hours?" Said secretary Riyan with a serious look.
"Do you really think I'm like you? Is it a waste of time to take care of other people's business? Therefore, if you want a job done quickly, do not be too busy with people's business." Riyan's answer that made his secretary immediately bowed speechlessly.
In a hurry Riyan immediately left the office. He can't wait to get home to Fara, who hasn't called or messaged him since. While he was driving his car, he accidentally saw a flower figure right next to the road.
Without thinking much, Riyan immediately pulled over his car and stepped into the flower. Arriving inside, he looked at all the shop clerics with a slightly strange look. Riyan's charm can always hypnotize everyone. Especially the women. And that kind of gaze, was already a normal thing for Riyan.
Riyan who is of Indonesian descent does look different from men in the developed country. Having black hair, as well as thick eyebrows and perfect scales, makes him always steal the eyes of every woman around him.
"Miss, I want to buy red roses." Said Riyan using English to one of the shopkeepers.
The blue-eyed lady before Riyan did not respond at all, what Riyan had just said. He just stared at Riyan without making a sound and without even blinking a single blink.
"Miss, Miss are you okay?" Riyan asked again as he waved his hand right in front of the woman.
"Let's.. Can I help you, sir?" The woman asked nervously after realizing what had happened.
"I want to buy red roses." Answer Riyan.
In a hurry the blue-eyed woman immediately stepped towards the corner of the store, shaking her head slowly so embarrassed by what had just happened. Especially at that time all his fellow shop clerics were looking at him with a smile.
"This is the red rose sir." The woman said after picking up a red rose, and gave it to Riyan.
"I want a big bunch of flowers. Not just a sprig." Said Riyan while staring at the red rose in the woman's hand.
"Let me take the flowers. What is this flower for your girlfriend sir?" Follow a woman who is about 45 years old. The woman was the owner of the flower shop.
"Geez, it turns out that handsome guy's the guy's husband. Who's the lucky woman he married?" Whisper a woman to her friend.
"Yes, I think he's a businessman. Not ordinary people. Just look at the brand of the car." The other woman continued, staring at Riyan who had stepped out of the flower shop towards her luxury car.
Realizing that Riyan was married, the women who had been hypnotized with his perfection immediately became embarrassed. Especially the woman who had lost consciousness because of the existence of Riyan.
Riyan runs back to his car while smelling the scent of flowers in his hand. He was sure that Fara would be very happy when she received a gift from him in the form of such a large bunch of flowers. Because during life together, it was the first time that Riyan had given such a special gift.
Riyan drove out his car while imagining Fara's expression when he received his favorite flower. But suddenly his phone rang a sign there was an incoming call. Seeing her mother's name on the phone screen, Riyan hurriedly answered her immediately.
("Hello Ma'am." Say hello to Riyan after the phone is connected.)
("What are you doing, baby?" Ask Melda from behind the phone.)
("I'm on my way home, ma'am." Riyan replied while watching the streets.)
("Where is the fig? Is he on campus?" Ask Melda.)
("He's at home, Mom. He did not go to college today. He is not healthy anymore." Answer Riyan.)
("Darling, try taking Fara to Dr. I don't think he's an ordinary pain." Melda exclaimed which made Riyan instantly become confused.)
("What's the usual pain, ma'am?" Ask Riyan.)
("Maybe Fara is pregnant. Last night, I dreamed of holding a baby. Maybe it's a sign that you're going to have a grandchild." It was clearly Melda who made Riyan's eyes open wide so shocked.)
("Riyan, are you quiet?" Melda asked because Riyan had no voice.)
("Mom, what you said is true. Fara is now pregnant." Answer Riyan honestly.)
("Thank God, then. Mom and Dad also hope like that after Mom dreams of holding a baby. You should be more vigilant about taking care of his health." Melda who was so happy to hear the good news from her Son was immediately excited.)
("Yes Mom. I'll keep it in there, too." Answer Riyan.)
"Yes already. We are careful! Then I'll get to Mom's phone house. I want to talk to Fara." Said Melda and immediately disconnected her phone.)
Riyan, who could not lie to her parents, was forced to tell the truth about Fara's circumstances. She felt it was pointless to also hide Fara's pregnancy from their extended family.
"Why should I hide this good news from my extended family? Sooner or later, they'll know." Riyan spoke alone while continuing to focus on driving his luxury car.
