Chapter 56. Women Who Want to Understand.
The mistake that had blinded his eyes, made the cold man so regretful after knowing everything. Such great guilt towards his mother's family, made him even more frozen beside his father with a very chaotic estimate. Especially when his mind was fixed on Fara who had no idea where he was. In a hurry, Riyan stood up and immediately walked away without saying anything. And his behavior, made Melda his mother who suddenly felt worried immediately voiced out.
"Riyans.. Where are you going?" Melda asked as she looked at her son who had already stepped towards the door.
"I'm going to pick Fara up.." Answer Riyan.
Riyan drove off the car while thinking about the mistake, which had been residing in his heart and mind. He was drowning in his regret, because of his attitude that had already hurt a completely innocent woman. He wants to see Fara immediately and apologize for all his mistakes.
Riyan drove his car at high speed to the place where he left Fara. But suddenly he immediately stepped on the brake suddenly, when his eyes were fixed on a woman who was stepping from the front there, with a look that looked very messy.
In a hurry, Riyan got out of the car and stepped towards Fara, who was only speechless after realizing her existence.
Seeing the state of Fara Riyan increasingly felt guilty. And just as he wanted to make a sound, suddenly a man with a motor appeared from that direction. Riyan's footsteps stopped when he saw the man approaching Fara and invited her to leave.
"Let's go!" Invite the man while pulling Fara's hand.
"Let her come home with me!" Riyan's voice made the man stare straight at her, without letting go of Fara's hand.
It turned out that the simple man was Fara's best friend since he was in Junior High. And he had been in love with Fara for a long time. But he did not dare to express it, because he felt he was not comparable to Fara who came from a conglomerate family.
"Fara, let's go home!" Riyan said as he grabbed Fara's hand. But Fara, who was already disappointed and upset with him, immediately withdrew her hand and said.
"I want to go home with Erik." Fara said without looking at Riyan who was already nearby.
"I am the one who is always there for her." Erik replied with a smile looking at Riyan.
"Well, if that's what you want. But don't blame me if there's trouble at home." Said Riyan and stepped towards his car which was parked beside the road.
"Listening to what Riyan had just said, Erik, who did not want to add to Fara's problems, immediately asked Fara to go home with Riyan. Moreover, Erik also already knew, that Riyan was the future husband of the woman he loved all this time.
"You go home with him! I don't want you in trouble." Erik hugged Fara.
Riyan, who was already sitting behind the wheel of his car, was only silent to see his future wife who was being hugged by another man. Because there was not the slightest love for Fara, it made her so calm to witness the incident. Without thinking for a long time, Riyan immediately started his car and was about to turn back. But he had not been able to run his car, Fara had stepped up to him. And he fell silent again with a gaze fixed on Fara.
Fara opened the car door and entered without glancing at Riyan who was beside her. She was like that because she was still very upset with Riyan's attitude towards her. And without making a sound, Riyan who also did not care about Fara immediately drove his car, at a very high speed.
On the way there was not a single word thrown from the mouth of the bride-to-be. Riyan, who had wanted to apologize to Fara, chose to give up her intentions because Fara was completely indifferent to her. Actually Fara was eager to talk about their uncertain marriage. But the disappointment in his heart that was so great over the words of Riyan earlier, made him not want to make a sound or glance at Riyan.
The biggest barrier between the two brides-to-be is their selfishness that they are not aware of. That selfishness has created sharp words, which hurt Fara's heart to the point that she is not willing to do so.
As a woman, Fara was eager to be understood by the man she loved. But his desire only added to the pain in his chest. Because the man he loves is not a romantic man, who is good at seducing women when they are angry.
