Chapter 44. The Unexpected Request.
A real man would be willing to do anything for his family, even if the life at stake only half the blood flowing in his body. Faris who has not had time to rest since last night, willing to donate his blood for the safety of the younger sister who is very dear to him.
Actually Faris and Papa Fahri have no plans to leave for Malaysia. But because Faris had a bad dream about Melda, when she fell asleep briefly in her study yesterday afternoon. After waking up from his sleep, he immediately told his nightmare, to Papa Fahri who happened to be also in the office at that time.
Papa Fahri is instantly worried after hearing the story about Faris' nightmare. And without thinking, Papa Fahri immediately decided to book three airline tickets, for a flight at 5 am later. Faris who was having a dream, was so anxious to think of Melda, that she could not sleep that night. Almira also went to Malaysia, although she was a teenager, but Almira could not be alone without one of her parents.
Almira's attitude like that, occurred after an accident that made him sick because of being separated from his parents. After recovering from his illness, Almira did not want to stay with his parents. Even at night, she always sleeps with her Mom and Dad. And all members of the Permana family, indeed very indulgent after he recovered from his illness.
After getting a donor from Faris, Melda can immediately be operated on in a state that is not yet conscious. The doctor who handled it couldn't wait until he realized from his stupor earlier. Because the safety of the baby in the womb, depending on the operation that must be done immediately.
Tension and anxiety still enveloped the hearts of Reza and Melda's family. Because since then no one has come out of the delivery operating room. But suddenly there was the sound of the cry of a little angel, which made them instantly shocked. But they have not been able to breathe a sigh of relief, before knowing the state of Melda in there.
They all waited in front of Melda's operating room while continuing to pray, for Melda's safety. And finally they could all breathe freely, after Dr. who handled Melda came out of the operating room, and said that Melda was also her son in good condition.
The fear that had enveloped them all had now been replaced with a happiness that could not be described in words. A happy smile immediately emanated from their faces, after seeing a tiny baby being pushed in an incubator, by a nurse into a special room for babies. Melda's baby was born just in time, but because she was a little weak because she was held a little long in her mother's stomach, so she had to be put in an incubator for a while.
After an hour of surgery, Melda regained consciousness. He opened his eyes and looked at all who were standing around him, with a look that looked powerless. But after removing her family, Melda immediately smiled as she called Mama Alira, who was right beside her head.
"Maa, thanks for the prayer. I saw Mama in my dream crying and praying for me." Melda was speechless as she looked at Mama Alira, with tears already dripping down her face.
"You don't have to thank me! A mother will always pray for her child, and always cry when she sees her daughter risking her life, to give birth to an angel." Mama Alira said as she rubbed the back of Melda's hand, then kissed Melda's forehead.
Mama Alira's affection is so very sincere, which makes Melda again feel the love and care of a mother. Same with Papa Fahri. He's always trying to make Melda not feel the loss of a father. Whatever they do for Melda, as long as she can be happy and not feel lonely.
"You fainted because you lost a lot of blood. And that's what makes Mama cry for anything to happen to you. Especially when Reza and Aleta don't get donors." Mama Alira was clearly in tears.
"Paa, Papa did the blood donation for me?" Melda asked as she grabbed Papa Fahri's hand.
Seeing that Melda's eyes were already in the shade of more and more clear crystals, making Faris immediately step toward him, then rubbed his head while speaking.
"Mas will do anything for you and Almira. For the sake of the safety of the Mas family, let alone blood, life will also be at stake." Said Faris while continuing to wipe the head of Melda who was already covered in tears.
"Mas, twice Mas saved my life. And this second one is not just me, but also my son. You still want to, right? do something else for me?" Melda asked while looking at Faris.
"Mas is ready to do anything for your salvation and your happiness." Faris replied without knowing what Melda wanted to ask for.
"What do you really want?" Ask Faris also Mama Alira and Papa Fahri simultaneously.
Everyone in the room thought that Melda would ask for something as a gift for the birth of her baby. But Melda instead asked for something completely unthinkable, by the people around her.
"I want Mas Faris to have a daughter. Let my son be betrothed to Mas Faris' daughter." Melda answered, making Faris and Aleta's faces red instantly. While Mama Alira who heard Melda's request just now, immediately agreed so excitedly.
"That's better according to Mama. Honestly, Mama's been very traumatized by outsiders, who we don't yet know their personalities like Farel's. So my mom is very supportive. Go Faris! You must have a daughter soon!" Mama Alira spoke with a fluffy smile on her pretty face.
"Oh, you want to?" Melda asked Aleta who was just smiling to herself.
"I totally agree." Answer Aleta.
"When what is Papa?" Ask Mama Alira to Papa Fahri.
"The father also strongly agreed. Because Papa is also already afraid of outsiders whom we don't yet know his behavior." Answer Papa Fahri.
They all immediately agreed to what Melda wanted. Melda did all of that because she was so grateful, able to go through a critical period with her son because of the help of her older brother. And he wanted his son to one day be able to do something for Faris.
