Chapter 10

After being unconscious for a day in the hospital, Naura finally regained consciousness. Dira who is still monitoring the state of Naura, felt so relieved when his best friend woke up.

"How long have I been here?" Naura asked with a voice that still sounded weak

"1 day" answered Dira

"What about Adam, is he looking for me? Where's my phone?" Naura asked a little panicked

"Stay lying in your place and don't move"

"But.. Adam.. "

Dira let out a long sigh seeing the nature of Naura who was still worrying about Adam more than herself.

"Stop thinking about it and focus on your treatment. I won't let you go home before the wounds and bruises on your body heal"

Naura could only resignedly lie back on the bed obeying the words of Dira who was currently staring at her sharply.

"So what happened? How could you have an accident, I'm sure you're not someone who would break through the midnight rain like that"

Naura, who was about to answer Dira's question, turned her head toward the door that suddenly opened from the outside, revealing William who had just come with a bushel and or a plastic bag filled with fruits again.

"You're sober? How are you doing? Do I need to call a doctor to check on you?" William asked Naura after putting down his luggage

There was a clear look of worry and anxiety on William's face. Naura just smiled, hoping that one day Adam would come to see her with a look like that.

"Why are you so chatty.. " Dira said again to the back of William's head

"Std.. " William turned his head to look sharply at Dira but did not curse because he wanted to keep the image before Naura, which I noticed both of them

"I'm just worried.. " William tried to restrain himself

"I'm doing fine. You don't have to worry"

"How could I not worry, I was even misunderstood by the doctor because of the bruises on your body"

William immediately turned to Dira when Dira pulled his shirt because he heard his words just now.

"W-did you see it?" Naura asked in shock

William then held the nape of his neck and said hesitantly "Hmm.. I saw it in your arm" William replied without looking at Naura

"I hope you can keep it a secret. It's not at all what you think" Naura pleaded

"Oh.. So how did that happen?" William asked seriously

"I just fell. He never really hit me. It's my fault for not taking good care of myself"

William listened while opening the bushel containing the porridge below. He did not really hear Naura's answer because he could already guess the answer Naura would give. Likewise with Dira who is just silent does not care.

"I don't mean to interfere. It's just that I want you to live for yourself, think more about yourself and do the things that make you happy. Rather than trying to please someone who clearly never appreciates you. After all, life is only once so you shouldn't waste it like this" William said sincerely from the bottom of his heart

Hearing William's words, Dira was amazed for the first time at his cousin. This was the first time he was so moved to hear his words.

"Thank you for your concern, it's just that I'm not really sure I can take that step" Naura said

"But maybe it will be different for 'he' " Naura murmured about Nara as if it was the embodiment of her despair and anger that she had been holding back

"It's okay. I'm hungry, can you feed me?" Naura asked Dira trying to divert the conversation

However, the secret of Nara's existence is only known by her father. It is not about Naura who does not want to discuss it, it's just that she will only look crazy in the eyes of others if she says something that is hard to believe like that even though many have experienced it out there.

Dira hit the hand of William who just held the spoon intending to feed Naura "Which told me to.. " Say Dira snatch that spoon

"I eat by myself. Fatigued you guys fight mute" said Naura snatch a spoon in Dira's hand and choose to feed herself

"This is because of you, take it so much from earlier" William exclaimed

"Ihh even in fact, you're the one from earlier caper mulu" Reply Dira did not accept

Naura looked at the two alternately, then let out a long sigh of "Mending you guys home now. I'm not healed, even more sick to hear you guys fight mute"

"Cannot. If I go home, take care of who you are" said Dira refused

"I'm the one taking care of it. So mending you go home, shower and change clothes" William said insinuating Dira who was still wearing her nightgown

"can't. I won't let someone like you take care of Naura"

"Stop.. " Sela Naura is tired "I'm going to call Mr. Agus, so you don't have to worry about me" Naura said later

"You sure?" Ask Dira again

"Yes, I'm sure" replied Naura nodding

"If so I go home" said Dira forced to follow Naura's wishes

"Let's go home, why are you still there" continued Dira while pulling William's clothes out of the room by force

Naura who saw the two coming out could now sigh in relief. Although he was grateful because the presence of both of them was quite happy, but he still chose to spend his own time for now.

After a few hours in the hospital. Naura finally decided to go home. Pak Agus who had also arrived after getting a call from Naura, immediately took care of the exit procedure for Naura. Although Pak Agus repeatedly refused, he finally agreed after seeing Naura who was so cool to go home.

"Young lady all right?"

"I'm okay Uncle. It's just a small wound. Resting a few days is enough for me" said Naura confident in her decision

Naura wears a large black hodie, with a hood that now covers the bandage on her head. He didn't really want to show Adam the wound, but he didn't want to be in the hospital any longer. Because after all, he was so fed up with the smell of drugs in the hospital that sometimes made him nauseous.

"Oh yes.. What about Adam? Is he looking for me?"

"Yes. You had searched for Miss before" said Mr. Agus lowered his face without looking at Naura

"Uncle doesn't have to entertain me like that. With that attitude of his, how could he possibly look for me. I was just a little bit of a mince.. " Naura said softly even though in her heart she really hoped that Adam would really look for her
