Chapter 4

The clock on the wall showed at 8am when Adam woke up to the scorching sun that was slowly illuminating his room.

Adam stretched his achy body after sitting all night reading his company's documents that he had not been able to finish yesterday because of Clara's problem. He went down the stairs leading to the first floor while occasionally spreading his gaze to the entire room that looked quiet.

It was only when he was in the kitchen that he met Bi Eka who was busy with his cooking.

"Naura hasn't woken up yet Bi?" Ask Adam then

Previously, every morning Naura always waited for him at the dinner table and even looked for him in his room just to make him eat breakfast. But today was different because Naura who never came to his room woke him up.

"Miss came out this morning, sir.. " Answer Bi Eka

"out?" Adam frowned feeling unusual

"Yes sir. She said Miss had an appointment with her friend today"

Adam did not ask anymore and chose to finish his food that had just been served by Bi Eka while playing his phone.

"Oh yes Bi.. Later that night I came home late, so there was no need to make me dinner again" Adam said after sipping his drink

Adam went back to his room with a smile on his face after checking his phone. Because he just made a date with Clara.

It took 1 hour for Adam to get ready in his room like a young couple in a drunken romance.

Adam wears a casual suit, unlike the usual who wears a jaz. This time Adam wears a blazer with a white t-shirt and jeans. It makes her look younger and more charming than ever.

Without lingering again, Adam immediately rushed to the house of Clara who had been waiting for an invitation from him.

After half an hour on the way, Adam finally arrived at Clara's house. Clara who heard the sound of Adam's car immediately rushed out and into Adam's car.

"So where are you taking me today?" Ask Clara enthusiastically

"Watch?" Adam answered less confident because he had only invited Clara out before but had not fully thought of his purpose

"Hm.. " Clara pulled out her phone looking for a movie that aired today "Then let's watch this movie" Clara said showing one of the romantic movie posters she had just seen

"alright.. " Adam agreed, although in the end he would only fall asleep because he was bored

As expected, from the time the film was aired Adan just silently watched without interest though. If not for seeing the Ckara who liked him so much he might have fallen asleep because of boredom.

"I almost cried because of the movie.. " Clara said with a look that made him sad to think about the film earlier

Adam just smiled, he really didn't know anything about the film even the title of the film he didn't remember at all.

"You hungry? What if your favorite restaurant is near here?" Ask Adam to switch the conversation

"alright. I haven't eaten since this morning" Clara replied in agreement as she stroked her stomach, which suddenly felt hungry because Adam had brought it up

Both of them immediately moved to a restaurant that was not far from the place. One of the restaurants frequented by Clara during her college days.

"I didn't expect that I would go back to this restaurant with you, doesn't it remind us of the time we went to college" Clara said upon arrival at the restaurant, reminiscing a little about the memories of the past lecture

Just as Clara was circulating her gaze, the look in her eyes suddenly locked onto one of the tables currently occupied by a woman and a man.

"Isn't that Naura?" Inner Clara had not expected to meet Naura at that place

With the rare opportunity he had just met, an idea swelled in Clara's mind. A sly smile was now engraved on his face.

Adam looked at Clara confused, just now he said he was very happy to visit this place and now he suddenly did not want it.

"But we've arrived here?" Saying Adam

"But it.. Hm.. " Clara was nervous as she slightly shifted over Adam's gaze toward Naura's desk

Adam who felt the strangeness of Clara's attitude, then looked in the direction that had been covered by Clara "Naura?" Adam never thought he would see his wife in that place

Adam's eyebrows were clinging to frowns because he saw Naura talking cheerfully with a foreign man.

Without thinking long, Adam immediately approached the table Naura with a look of his face.

"Wait Adam.. " Clara, who pretended to want to intercept Adam, is now following slowly from behind, of course, with a sly smile on her face after her plan has gone smoothly

"Naura's.. " Call Adam while pulling Naura's arm, making her stand facing him

Naura who was pulled suddenly suddenly rounded her eyes in shock when she saw Adam who was now looking at her sharply.

But after he saw Clara from behind, he soon realized that Adam would bring Clara to the restaurant for lunch.

"You misunderstood.. It's not like you imagined" Naura refuted in panic as she shook her head

"Misunderstand me?"

"Ekhem.. Let me introduce myself, my name is William Ludwig. I accidentally met Naura here, which is why I greeted her" Sela William explained the real incident

"That's right. We just accidentally met. It's not what you think it is"

"Well.. Pretty impressive reason. But I'm not that stupid to believe in a hypocritical woman*k like you" Reply Adam did not believe the words of the two

"Wait.. You have to believe me" Naura tries to intercept Adam who is now re-embracing Clara's arm intending to leave

Seeing Adam's cold gaze, Naura reluctantly took off her hand and let Adam go with Clara.

"It's okay. Even without your presence here, he will still misunderstand and not trust me" said Naura was shocked again

"What's wrong with your faces? Did you guys fight?" Sela Dira when she arrived there and found the two of them put on a sad face especially Naura

"Adam saw me with William just now"
