After sleeping for nearly 5 hours, Naura finally woke up as the clock on the wall showed at 9 p.m.

Naura, who was not fully aware, was immediately fully aware when her gaze collided with Adam, who had been in her room watching her.

"Oh sorry.. I must have been unaware of doing it while I was asleep" Naura said, quickly pulling her hand which was holding Adam's arm tightly

"Ughs.. " Adam stretched his hands that felt sore as well as his back because he was constantly sitting all day

"W-would I call a doctor to check on you?" Naura asked worriedly

"No need, so lie back on your bed and stop looking at me like I'm the patient" Adam cried sharply

"Pardon me.. I'm troubling you again"

"It's good if you're self-conscious" Adam said, standing up from his seat "I'll get you dinner, so stay on your bed" he said later

Naura sighed heavily while closing her eyes. His arms rose shut his eyes which were now letting out tears.

"No Naura.. You can't cry like this.. You are a woman you are strong.. " Naura muttered and then wiped her tears trying to stay steadfast in Adam's treatment

"You should add the word surrender in your dictionary" Nara who had been silent since the accident reappeared

"Be quiet. I don't want to argue with Nara. I've been kind enough to not mind the accident"

"Looks like you forgot, the wound of your patience is far greater than what I caused. 2 Years I've been patient enough by not taking over your body and now you're hurting me for that minor injury"

Naura again remained silent in front of Nara. He was not supposed to say such a thing after making Nara patient with all her actions that only constantly hurt her.

Even so, Naura will still do it because of her feelings for Adam who is constantly becoming a fetter for her to step forward.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to blame you" Naura said regretting her words

"Do as you please. And again, get back the mother's painting if you've forgotten it" Reply Nara reminded of the painting she had previously taken away from this house

Naura suddenly woke up from her sleep, she completely forgot the painting "How could I forget it? What am I supposed to do now?"

"Basic fool.. Call William. If you can't find it, I'll find it myself" Nara threatened before disappearing again

Without any further delay, Naura quickly contacted Dira to request William's contact.

But when he scrolls through his call history, he suddenly finds William's contact number there.

"Oh since when do I have it? Did he keep it to himself?" Naura asked confusedly

Not wanting to think too much about it, Naura finally chose to contact William and ask about the painting.

"The number you are going to is ... "

Tttuutt..

"Is he probably busy? Maybe I should wait for tomorrow, what if I fall asleep" muttered Naura when her call was not connected while looking at the clock that was already showing at 10

Naura put her phone back on the table by the bed and lay back down while waiting for Adam to bring her dinner.

Naura, who was intending to close her eyes, woke up again when her phone suddenly rang.

Drrr.. Drrr..

Naura quickly checked it out, which turned out to be a call from William who was currently contacting her back.

"H-hello.. " Sapa William from across with a voice that sounded so nervous

"Hello.. Am I interrupting your break?" Ask Naura then

"No. I just finished taking a shower. That's why I didn't hear a call from you" Will's rebut quickly gave an excuse

"I called you because I wanted to ask you about the painting.. Maybe you've seen it?"

"Yes. Did you see him? I completely forgot about it when I was in the hospital"

"The painting is on me. I kept it on purpose" replied William

"Thank God. I'm really worried if the painting was damaged in an accident"

"I've changed the broken frame. So the painting's fine"

"Sorry to trouble you, I will definitely repay you" Naura said feeling regret for inconveniencing others she had only just met

"I actually have a request for you. I'm not sure if you'd agree to it" William said, hesitating a little

"Say, as long as I can do it. I'll definitely do it"

"Make me your model" Pinta William expectantly

Naura frowned confusedly "What do you mean?" Naura asked not very understanding

"Dira told me that you were designing some clothes. That's why, make me your model. I really want to wear clothes designed by you"

"That's all?"

"Yes. That'sallthatis. Are you gonna do it?" Ask William expectantly

"alright. I'm gonna do it. I certainly won't let you down" Naura said, excited that as William is an actor, it's rare that he can design clothes for actors like him

"I'll look forward to it. By the way how are you doing? Are you all right? I was looking for you at the hospital this afternoon, but who would have thought that you'd be back home so soon"

"I'm doing fine. It's just a small wound, so resting at home is enough for me"

"It's good if it's like that. I'm really worried about you" William said in a slightly quiet voice

"No need to worry and also Thank you for saving me earlier"

"It should.. " Said William suddenly fell silent at the thought of something else

"William?"

"Oh sorry.."

"I should have been more sensitive, sorry to interrupt your break. I'll definitely treat you another day"

"I'm looking forward to it" William replied impatiently waiting for the day Naura bought her

Naura then turned off the phone call and put her phone back on the table.

"You look so happy talking to him?"

Naura who was intending to close her eyes again came to a halt as Adam's voice rang out from the direction of her bedroom door.

"S-when are you here?" Naura asked nervously if Adam had misunderstood her the same way as before

"From the moment you raised the call from him" Adam answered with a sharp look

"He heard everything.. " Inner Naura cursed herself for not being aware of her presence

"Why are you so nervous? Aren't you just friends? Or maybe you purposely approached her for being too fed up with me?"

"It's not like that" Naura rebutted quickly because of Adam's baseless accusations

"I don't care. Do as you please because in the end we'll just get divorced"

"That's not gonna happen. I will never approve of the divorce" Naura said seriously, not intending to give up especially after all her 2-year struggle in maintaining her marriage
