Chapter 28

The increasingly heavy rain, making Gibran who drove his car a little difficult because of blurry vision. Dira who sat on the passenger bench is now asleep because he is too tired.

Hours earlier, Dira forced Gibran to take her to the villa where Naura was. How many times he thinks, he still can not ignore it.

Gibran who initially tried to resist because all this was arranged by Mother Adam, eventually gave up and drove Dira to the villa.

But in the middle of the trip, heavy rain actually fell so fast in the area that made Gibran slow down the speed of his car because it was useless to stop in the middle of the heavy rain, because no building can be used as a stopover other than the villa.

"How much longer are we gonna be?" Tanya Dira opened both her eyes

"Awhile more.. " Jibran answered with the same answer

"I'm tired of hearing your answer, Gibran.. " Say Dira growled

"This time I'm not lying, we'll be here any minute"

"Oh, so now you admit that you've been lying" Dira said, staring at Gibran

Other than sighing in length, Gibran could say nothing more. The girl he had just met last night, really made himself unquote in front of him other than to accept his words.

"You can't speed up the car any more, it's harder to drive if it's dark" Dira said after looking out the window

"I'll try" replied Gibran then hesitantly increasing the speed of his car

About half an hour later, the two arrived at the villa.

"We have arrived" Gibran said, a little excited because he finally arrived there

"It's simpler than I thought" said Dira frowning because he saw the condition of the Villa that was a little messy because of the rain

It was very different from Naura's reaction when she got there, because of the difference in weather that made the two see different sides of the villa.

Gibran and Dira then went inside after parking the car. Dira gave a quick glance towards his watch which already showed at 6pm when they arrived there.

"It's really cold.. " Say Dira shivered a little cold "Oh?" Dira's focus was distracted as he went inside, and found Adam and Naura hugging in a blanket

"What are they doing? Are they that cold to do something like this?" Dira asked confused

"Sstt.. Slow down your voice so as not to wake them up. It's rare to see them like this" Gibran said quickly closing Dira's mouth to avoid making a fuss

"Then I will change clothes, before I catch a cold" Dira said and went upstairs looking for Naura's room to use

While Dira was riding in a change of clothes, Gibran chose to go to the kitchen and fetch some warm water for himself after changing his clothes for a while.

After taking warm water and a few snacks in the kitchen, Gibran took him to the living room to just enjoy his leisure time in the heavy rain.

But not enough 10 minutes he relaxed, Adam who had been lying with Naura immediately called Gibran with a shrill voice full of anger.

"Gibrans!" Call Adam and get out of the blanket and get to Gibran on the couch

"W-what? I know I was wrong, but this is your mother's order.. "

"Naura is sick and now you are just relaxing here" said Adam pointing to Naura who was still lying with a pale face that had not been noticed by Gibran and Dira before

"He has a high fever. So now take responsibility and get him to the hospital as soon as possible before anything happens with him"

"Naura's sick?" Sela Dira from the direction of the stairs which has now changed clothes

"Yes. He has a fever" Adam replied

Quickly, Dira immediately approached Naura and checked her body temperature.

"His body was this hot, how did this happen?" Tanya Dira started to feel panic as well as worry

"Don't look at me, I've tried my best to take care of her. If anyone is to blame, then blame him for just leaving me with Naura here"

Dira immediately understood Adam's actions today. It was very impossible for Adam to embrace Naura just because of the cold. Such a thing will only happen, if Naura's condition is not fine as it is today.

"What should we do now, his body is really hot"

"I gave him some medicine and compressed him last night, but I don't know what he was thinking until he was so recklessly out in the rain like this this this afternoon" Said Adam furious with Naura's attitude this afternoon

Because after all, he had not had time to vent his misery because he saw the condition of Naura.

"Then, please take her to the room first. I'll take care of him until tomorrow morning. If the fever doesn't come down, we'll be home in the morning. Because driving at night and with this bad weather, it is quite dangerous for us" said Dira decided to stay at this time after careful consideration

"What else are you doing?" Gibran asked as Adam leisurely sat down on the sofa and ignored Dira's orders

"I picked it up?" Adam pointed at himself

"Yes. Because you are her husband" Gibran said

Adam let out a long sigh, then stood up and followed Dira's words. He lifted Naura's body in bridal style up to the top of his room.

Again he felt amazed by the weight of Naura's body so light, as if he was not lifting any weight.

"Why is your face like that? Or are you surprised because he's that light?" Asked Dira in a cynical tone

Adam then turned to look at Dira with a frown because of Dira's words that clearly showed his hatred of him.

"I'm not in the mood to fight with you" Adam said later, because he and Dira always ended up fighting from college

"Br*ngsek.. " Umpat Dira while opening the door to Naura's room so rudely made Adam look at him annoyed not to accept in such reproach

"Let him down as gently as possible, like you treat that crazy woman"

"Andira" Adam's repulsive

"Shhwa.. You will disturb him if your voice is that loud" said Dira did not care about Adam's anger at all

"Huh"

Adam clucked in annoyance, then turned away not wanting to continue arguing with Dira.

"Oh yes.. I remind you to quickly get away from Naura. If you really want to be with that crazy woman, you should have let go of Naura"

"You think it's that easy to do it, what do you know"

"It seems like I'm starting to doubt your feelings, if only because your legacy remains with Naura, then you should question your feelings towards that crazy woman again. Because if you love her, you shouldn't think of a treasure that's not that much. Is that not what is called Love, Adam" said Dira with his increasingly spicy words that make Adam silent unquoted
