Adam and Naura decided to enter the villa, after Gibran's departure because it was the only thing they could do in a place where there was no occupant.

"There's no signal here.. " Say Adam growled as he ruffled his hair

Repeatedly he went back and forth around the room, with his hands raised while shaking his phone to find a signal but free. Because there really is no signal in that place.

Naura, who had resigned herself to what happened, chose to check the kitchen. Because after all, there was no place other than the villa in that place.

"According to my guess, they have really done well" Naura said after checking the food supply in the kitchen which was quite a lot for her and Adam spent a month there

Naura who was already in the kitchen, decided to cook some food for her lunch later.

45 Minutes later..

Naura, who was done with her cooking, began to arrange it at the dinner table after dividing it into two parts because either Adam would eat the food or not.

Naura circulated her gaze around looking for the whereabouts of Adam who had been going around looking for a signal.

"Ugh.. " Naura gulped her saliva in shock as her gaze suddenly locked onto Adam who was also staring at her

"How is this, is he going to scold me again" Inner Naura was worried especially after seeing the cold expression of the current Adam

"What are you doing?" Adam asked near Naura

"It-it's.. If you don't mind, I've already made lunch for you" Naura replied, offering her the newly made meal

"He will reject it immediately.. " Inner Naura was not so hopeful

But unlike his mind, Adam was silent while sitting in that chair. He glanced at Naura's food, then grabbed the plate to prepare for lunch. Without rejection or reproach as he had done before.

"Oh?" Naura shut her mouth in shock, not expecting that Adam would be willing to sit at the same table with her and even taste her homemade food

Without saying a word, Adam then ate lunch that, making Naura suddenly nervous, because of the response from Adam.

"What exactly makes you so eager to maintain this marriage?" Ask Adam so suddenly

"Because I love you.. " Answer Naura

"But you know for yourself, the woman I like is Clara" Adam said, not understanding Naura's way of thinking

"I know" answered Naura as she put down her tablespoon

"Is it because of this, you did something like that in the past?" Adam asked back to bring up the past

The incident that became the biggest reason Adam hated Naura even after the two were officially married.

"If I could prove my point, would you have been reading me?" Naura asked back and looked at Adam with a sad face

"How are you going to prove it? Didn't I tell you.. "

Adam was silent, this is why he trusted Clara more because however he directly saw how Clara when designing the clothes.

"I could have brought you the proof, but from what I see, you'll never be able to trust me. Didn't we?" Naura asked smilingly

Because even if he defends himself and carries evidence under him of his innocence, Adam will only go back to accusing him of lying for falsifying evidence. Especially if Clara had already instigated Adam first.

Adam was silent again, for he could not deny it.

The incident began when Adam, Naura and Clara were still students. Naura and Clara who are in the same major, coincidentally enroll as representatives who will follow a fashion designer followed by their campus.

But because of some events, Naura finally chose to retreat after knowing that, the design that she should have collected actually looks so exactly with the design of Clara.

Without time to explain and prove his innocence, Naura is unilaterally accused of plagiarism. Especially because Adam directly presented himself as a witness that Clara did not plagiarize the design at all.

Given the incident, it made Clara could only cluck in annoyance. From the very beginning of the design book that he carried with him every day wherever he went, it disappeared right before he collected his work.

The triumphant sneaky smile that Clara had once displayed, still lingered in her mind. Therefore, he never once gave up on the marriage, because he chose to take the pain instead of letting Clara get what she was cold about, it would seem so selfish to Adam.

Thinking of past events that were less than heartwarming, Naura's appetite instantly disappeared.

"Sorry.. I'm already full. I'll go up first, for the plate you can leave it like that. I'll come down and clean it up later" Naura said before finally getting up and going upstairs

Adam who had just been silent, thought back to Naura's words just now.

"Am I really like that?" Ask Adam to himself

All this time he never really thought about it, but if he thought back. What Naura said just now is not unfounded.

From the moment the incident happened, he had already closed his eyes and chose to defend Clara without intending to hear Naura's explanation of the slightest item. Everything happened for the reason that Clara drew the design right next to her. That was why, he directly cornered Naura just like that.

This makes Adam think back to the words of his mother who asked him to find out for himself the reason of his family so hated Clara all this time.

"The more I think about it, the more I get dizzy. If there was a signal here, I would have asked Andre to check it" complained Adam staring at the signal on his phone which had only shown a cross

"But if it were true.. " Turmured Adam thought of the possibility that Naura's words were true and that Clara was lying

"Aw.. What am I thinking now, how can I doubt Clara.. " Say Adam came back and ruffled his hair in frustration

Adam, increasingly confused, eventually stopped thinking about it. He finished his lunch. Then bring the dishes and Naura to the dishwasher.

Although Naura said to let it go, Adam still chose to wash it himself, as well as to clear his mind so as not to think about this anymore.

However, before he saw any definitive proof, he would never so easily believe Naura, the girl he had been hypocritical for years. Because of believing in Naura, it has become so impossible to live Adam all this time.
