CHAPTER 53: THE COMING OF THE CANON

Hiroshi woke up in a hospital bed, with all the wounds on his body he was staring at the sky – hospital sky. A VVIP hospital room in one of Sapporo's hospitals, only one of them is lying there. Then the nurse came in to check on Hiroshi's condition, seeing the infusion attached to Hiroshi's arm.

“Good morning” greet the nurse.

“Good morning” replied Hiroshi.

“It looks like you will recover quickly, the wound is starting to improve. Only the swelling is still visible, is there still pain or pain?” ask the nurse to confirm Hiroshi's condition.

“I feel good – fine” replied Hiroshi as he rose from his sleep to sit on the bed.

“Before breakfast will be delivered along with medication that you need to drink to restore your condition, happy resting” said the nurse kindly.

Then when the sisters went out to cross paths with Hiroshi's mother, Ayane's aunt.

Hiroshi's mother approached her son who was sitting on the bed, in front of him wounds – wounds on his son's body. He sat on the edge of the bed and touched his bruised son's face.

“Why do you have to fight with him just for that jal@ng girl?” ask Hiroshi's mother who regrets his son's attitude.

“Bu.. she is not a jal@ng girl, mom knows I love her. He's getting improper treatment, I can't see it. I will seize it and release it no matter how” says Hiroshi.

“Be aware, there is no other girl you can love. I know he grew up with you. But he is not worth fighting for, don't be a fool like your father” said Hiroshi's mother reprimanding her son.

“What does mother mean?” hiroshi asked not to understand.

“Already, obviously he will not be able to protect or you release. He was laid down for the safety of his own family. Don't interfere with the Endo clan. Actually I also disagree with your engagement plan with the daughter of the Endo clan family. Our lives will become more complicated into their families. Aunt Ayane stood up and stared at the window on her son's back.

“You know the engagement won't be easy to break?” ask aunt Ayane.

“I know, but I have to get in this game to survive” Hiroshi replied.

“I hope you can consider it again, because regret will not be useful after you are entangled into it” aunt Ayane tried to shake her son's decision.

“I'm sure ma'am, Ryota's sister and I hope this I can decide. I know in the future it will be more difficult for me to handle, but I have to learn from my current defeat” Hiroshi said with a face full of anger.

Kanon's step-sister from Kawaki has stomped her feet at the airport heading to the hotel where her brother is. Kawaki and I sat in the closed restaurant inside the hotel to welcome Kanon. Kanon with a phink sweater and a black mini skirt headed towards us, with a cold face she sat in front of us.

“How was your trip?” ask Kawaki base – stale.

“Nothing special” replied Kanon.

“Prepare yourself, tomorrow you will meet your future fiancee. He is resting today, recovering his weak body” Kawaki said.

I glanced at Kawaki with dislike for what he said.

“Whatever he is, shouldn't I complain or protest. So I will accept it with pleasure” Kanon said.

A restaurant waiter came to the middle of – amid our conversation, he served food ordered by Kawaki. Enju, Uta and Jiro enter together to join.

Jiro sat beside Kawaki and me, while Enju and Uta flanked Kanon. We sat facing each other.

“Wah...food today is very different, it seems because of the arrival of Miss Kanon” said Uta.

“That's right, can't wait to devour everything” said Jiro.

“You are indeed greedy, whatever the food must look good in your eyes” chirped Enju.

“Let's eat, we need to prepare the energy before finishing the dissidents of the rats – mice of the Aihara” clan Kawaki said with a sly smile.

Kanon looked at me for a moment then greeted me “You seem to be getting thinner, is my brother treating you worse?”.

“Hey...hush back, don't discuss it here. I don't like to hear it, I always feed it. It's just that I didn't bribe him” Kawaki said as he turned his gaze away from his sister to me.

“I'm good – is fine, as you can see” replied me then used my chopsticks to bribe the rice served in the bowl right in front of me.

Kanon was silent looking at me bribing my food, then she followed to start eating.

After we finished eating, Kanon who was next to my room chose to visit me when Kawaki left with Jiro, Uta and Enju.

“Let me enter” Kanon said to the guard in front of my room.

The two of them opened the door and let Kanon into my room.

I who was sitting while approaching my feet on the floor leaned my back on the edge of the bed staring at his arrival.

Kanon sat next to me without hesitation, she looked at my body that I was embracing.

“Do you sleep with my sister?” ask it directly without base – stale.

“Sometimes he comes up to me and bed with me” I replied while looking at him.

“You've done $ex?” ask Kanon curiously.

“Is that important to you” ketusku.

“My brother wants you so badly, he can't possibly hold back his desire to do that with you. I suggest not to get pregnant, when you are pregnant with the successor of the Endo clan then your life will end” she gave me advice that I did not expect at all.

I smiled at her and said “She didn't dare to do it, she said my body was like an opium to her. I didn't even think that far I could take a seed from him. For me it's been pretty awful, though I don't know when it's all over”.

“Try to follow the game, do not often rebel or continue to refuse his request. At least he won't hurt you. Kawaki did grow up heartless and sadistic, but actually he just didn't want anything to go against his will. See me, this way I can live without fearing him” he added with a plain face.

I know he must have had his own trauma to his stepbrother's attitude that had hurt him. Until he tried to swallow it and live according to his brother's will. He did not even dare to rebel or resist, surely Kawaki was extremely cruel towards him. Lying that he had no fear, his obedience was only to survive without disturbing Kawaki.
