Loved Bunian Wolves
24. Wounds in the Body of Candra

"Where's my mom?" Ask Candra who stepped foot immediately as the guards greeted her at the gate of the Cendana palace.

"In .." one of the bodyguards sounded about to answer Candra's question. However, he took a few moments to his other fellow bodyguards.

"Where? Answer me, you just answer me!" Candra grumbled after seeing her bodyguard look dubious. "Don't wear all eyes!"

"Law. Her Majesty the Queen is at her residence, in Kenanga Pavilion, Lord Prince."

"okay." Candra said as it passed. He walked in wide strides to meet his beloved mother who - according to information from Bayu - was very ill.

"Mother!" Raka marched through the crowd of bodyguards gathered in front of the Kenanga pavilion, home of Candra's beloved father and mother.

But contrary to the information that Bayu conveyed, Her Majesty Ratu Dahayu looks fresh in front of him. He was even joking with laughter with one of his maids who was somehow chatting.

"Mother!" Candra called out to him. His face looks sulky because he feels Bayu has lied to him. His beloved mother is fresh in shape like this, why is it said to be in such a strong pain?

Queen Dahayu glanced for a moment responding to the call with her son's distinctive voice. Then he turned back to his maids, gesturing for them to pass away leaving him alone with his son.

"Mother!" exclaims Candra called her mother with worry. He came closer and sat right in front of his mother. He asked very carefully, "According to information from Bayu, the mother is very sick. Really so?"

Without answering, Queen Dahayu got up from her seat. He stood up and turned to his son and said, "Open your shirt!"

"Well?!" Candra was confused. His eyebrows are linked to the middle sign of confusion and horror simultaneously because the view of Queen Dahayu to him like a hungry wolf who is looking for prey. "Why do I have to undress, Mother?"

"Open, hurry! Otherwise, it will be forced!" tell Queen Dahayu with bulging eyes.

"Well, Mother," can Candra agree resignedly. Then he started to take off his clothes.

Once Candra's upper body was exposed entirely, Queen Dahayu's emotions instead subsided. He was just stupefied and increasingly glared incoherently at the chest of Candra field wrapped in bandage cloth with blood stains that seep in the chest.

"Where is this wound from?" Queen Dahayu asked with a turbulent fury on her face. While Candra shriveled before him, not wrinkling at all.

Queen Dahayu exclaimed to anyone outside her room, whether bodyguards or servants. He called out, "Supervisor! The waiter! Get the palace healer!"

"Okay, Your Majesty!" one of the servants in the quarters obeyed the Queen's orders.

"Basin' on a wayward wolf!" Queen Dahayu put her angry face again to the son. He continued after landing a soft pinch on his purple arm. "Get out of the house for months without word, without bodyguards, and did not turn on telepathy. Is that a good attitude as a crown prince, Candra?"

Candra looked grimacing in pain. Although the blow of Queen Dahayu did not feel hard at all, but he had to pretend to be sick so that the mother was not too hard to torture him. Especially if he had to last longer in this gripping atmosphere. Maybe his whole body will be full of small marks from his mother.

"Why are you quiet?" Queen Dahayu's question was upset that Candra seemed to have stamped, not answering a single question. "Just answer me, is that the right attitude as a crown prince?!"

"Ti-no, Mother. Please forgive me. I'm really a useless child, Mother," said Candra regretfully.

"Mother don't need regrets, Candra! You just need to change your attitude so that you can become more mature!" Ratu Dahayu. While the interlocutor now still looks shriveled in fear. In fact, the ferocity of Queen Dahayu may have just been a tip of the nail from the authoritarian and protective attitude of King Suryapati, Candra's father, and he was scared to death like this.

"Where did you get this wound?!"

"Java!" Queen Dahayu again belied emotions.

"Sa-I fought with Gentala, Mother," answered Candra honestly.

"Gentala again, Gentala again!" Queen Dahayu growled furiously. Then he guessed, "Is all this because of Princess Narlita?"

"Mother, Mother," replied Candra.

"Good God, you guys are!" Queen Dahayu seemed to shake her head. He continued, "Just because of your girls to fight so much?"

Candra grimaces.

"Did Gentala not know if Princess Narlita was your lover?" Queen Dahayu asked again.

Candra clenched her hands and shook her head strongly. He said, "Narlita is not my lover, Mother. I don't like it at all."

"But among the wolves, only she has good qualifications as the future wife of the crown prince, Candra! She is smart, beautiful, exemplary, learned, and very well mannered. She will be the queen, your life companion not only in household affairs, but also in state affairs!"

"But I don't love her, Mother!" Candra growled furiously. He has been very patient all this time because of the match made by his parents without his knowledge. Narlita is also the reason for Candra to leave the palace. The only thing is for his father and mother to realize that he does not like this matchmaking.

Gts ... Gts .. Gts ...

The sound of the door being knocked from outside. A servant looked down out there, waiting for a response from Queen Dahayu.

"The Chief of the Palace is coming, Her Majesty the Queen," said the servant.

"Alright," said Queen Dahayu in a softened voice. "Make the healer come in immediately to check on my son's wounds."

"Sendiko dawuh, Your Majesty."

"Young Master Candra was hit by an arrow right in the chest, but this arrow is not an ordinary arrow, Her Majesty the Queen," said Physician Arman while examining Candra's condition. At that time Candra was very forced to lay down in the bed of her father and mother's room.

Queen Dahayu frowned. He asked, "Not a regular arrow? What kind of arrow is that?"

"Golden earth smeared with a hint of poison, Her Majesty the Queen. This poison is commonly used by our enemies from the snake tribe" guessed the physician.

"Yes, they are the ones who attacked Candra, the Physician," said Queen Dahayu.

"Well, that's right," said Physician Arman, nodding his head. He continued, "Usually if hit by an ordinary arrow, the body of Young Master Candra will immediately regenerate by itself in the not too distant future, depending on the type of wound. Yet with this type of arrow and poison, the Young Master's body could not cope on its own. He needs treatment and intensive care enough to be healthy as ever. The Young Master was still very lucky because of this arrow, although it pierced through his chest, but it did not hurt his heart. Because if it were, then I'm sure Young Master wouldn't be here with us, as he is today."

Queen Dahayu clenched her hands full of anger seeing what happened to her son.she said, "Did Gentala and her people not know who we are, Candra? If your father finds out, they're done!"
