"What's going on here, Tika?" Tanya Runi, who until now still does not know what the purpose of Widuri's arrival here.
"Oh, this." Widuri grabbed the sling bag she was carrying. He opened it, and he took a parcel inside.
"So I asked my mother if there were any tailor recoments in the area. And my mom said, you!" exclaims Widuri pointed towards Runi with praise.
"Ah, that's too much! I'm still learning a lot!" Runi laughed briefly.
"Just help me, yeah! I need a dress to attend my best friend's wedding" pinta Widuri pleaded.
"Will you wear that dress, Tika?" ask Runi.
"Maybe within two weeks, Runi. Hows it? You can, right?"
Runi looked thoughtful. He glanced at his study for a moment and said, "Awhile, huh? I can't promise that I haven't seen my notebook yet. I'll take it first."
Runi rose up swiftly. He arrived less than a minute later with a thick notebook of his own.
He asked, "When did you say, Tik? Two more weeks?"
Widuri. "Yes, my friend told me all of a sudden about it."
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Tik! I can't promise, Tika. My order is a lot and I am pretty good. I'm afraid I can't do your dress."
"Well, how are you, Runi?" Widuri. His face also looked extremely desperate. "I'm willing to pay double as long as you want to work on my dress on time."
"It's not about the money, Tika." Runi said honestly. "It's about promise. I was afraid that my promise to my other customers would be backtracked, even though the deadline was clearly recorded in this book. And besides if I'm in too much of a hurry to sew, I'm afraid my stitches aren't as neat as usual."
"Please, Runi. Just one of my dresses, you can't, all right?" Again, Widuri insisted on persuading Runi. "I've seen your stitches, and I really like them. I don't want to wear a tailor other than you, because I believe you are the best tailor in the village, Runi."
Runi let out a long sigh and then he slowly let out through his mouth. He did not know the praise that Widuri said sincerely or not for him. It could be just a moment of praise to fellow friends, or it could be really praise at heart. In fact as a young tailor, he felt he still needed to learn a lot.
"I'm not that good, Tika. My stitches are still a lot of disheveled. I still need to practice a lot, actually. What your mother told you might be a little exaggerated."
"Did, don't go down. I've seen an example of the clothes my mother sewed here. And I like it, Runi! " Sayap Widuri once again full of supplications. "So please, will ya, sew clothes for me?! I have been getting thinner for a year. I no longer have decent clothes because my average clothes all over!"
Looking at Widuri aka Tika, his best friend and rival lomba during the race between elementary schools long ago who now put on the face of the welder, apparently he did not have the heart. After all the time span is still two weeks away, maybe he can still accelerate his target and slip a Widuri dress on his deadline list in two weeks.
"I'm working on it, Tik?" runi said in an unconvinced tone. "I'm afraid I can't satisfy you. That's why I can't promise. But yes, for your sake I'll try."
"Waaah, really?" Waturi's beautiful eyes sparkled brightly. "Great, you are a good friend, Runi!"
"Ah, just normal!" Runi blushed in embarrassment. Today I don't know how many times Widuri praised him. He doesn't deserve to be flattered like that.
"Yes, here I measure your body, Tika!" rami Runi while taking Tika to his study room located next to the living room.
While stepping into the sewing room, Widuri swept all corners of the house that could be reached with her eyes. The house is minimalist and simple. However, Widuri could feel the coolness in it. According to Widuri, Raka has built a comfortable and beautiful palace for Runi. And remembering that, Widuri's heart felt pinched with so much pain.
Ah, if only he hadn't run away four years ago! Maybe now she bears the title as Madam Raka. Occupy this tiny, modest house, chatting every day with a gentle and loving man like Raka.
Runi was recording one by one the size of each circumference on the body part of Widuri when the door of the living room opened.
Kriiiieit!
The sound of footsteps entered the house, followed by the gentle greeting of the newcomer. "Darling! I'm home!"
Widuri's heart feels like it's slipping. This voice sounded very familiar to Widuri. But what did the man say? 'Honey', saying? Hmh! how nauseating!
"Yes, Mom! A moment! There's guests!" Seru Runi answered Raka's greeting. So, she asked Widuri for permission to welcome her husband home.
"So soon, Tika! Husband home. I welcome him to the front."
Widuri nodded small. A sour grin slanted on his lips.
"Hi, honey! Any guests?" Sapa Raka again as soon as his wife appeared from behind his sewing room.
"Yes, Mas. New customer, who turns out he's my SD friend. He also lives in this village, you know!" exclaims Runi enthusiastically. He kissed Raka's right-hand reverence, then asked for the sling bag that Raka had brought for him to bring.
"Oh yeah? What's-her-name? If the villagers are familiar to me, dong?" asked Raka while taking off her work shoes.
"Tika, Mommy. His full name is Cantika who, that is. I do not memorize, but in the past when Elementary School often participated in the race together as a rival between schools," replied Runi enthusiastically. So he invited Raka to look at his study. "Try looking in the study, Mom? Who knows you know."
"Oh, okay!"
By holding the friendly arm of Raka, Runi leads her husband to the sewing room. As soon as Raka arrived at the doorway and the two ex-lovers met each other's eyes, a clumsy atmosphere instantly burst forth.
"Hi, Raka!" greet Widuri with a beautiful smile on her lips. While Raka was only dumbfounded with her eyes breaking.
"Lho, don't you think you know each other?" said Runi satisfied. He smiled looking at Raka and Widuri alternately, but suddenly he felt a very tense tension between these two people.
"Wi-widuri?" kelu, Raka's tongue called the last name of Widuri. His eyes were looking at this woman.
This astonishing meeting suddenly made Runi wonder in her heart.
A sleepover? Wasn't this girl in front of him - who incidentally was his childhood best friend in elementary school - Cantika? Honestly, he doesn't know Tika's full name.
Is Cantika a Widuri?
And if it is true that she is a Widuri, is this the same Widuri as the Widuri mentioned by Aswini, Runi's mother-in-law a few days ago?
"Who's the Widuri, Mas?" Asked Runi with a probing glance.
