Loved Bunian Wolves
39. Phone call from Widuri

The time leading up to midnight Raka spent guarding Runi, even though the man could not touch Runi in the slightest. But seeing Runi who was sick at this time - vomiting, limp, not want to eat even though forced, and not want to talk to him, making Raka should be able to determine his priorities.

Raka's phone screamed loudly. I don't know how many tens of messages and missed calls he believed from Widuri, but this time he made his phone in silent mode. He believes that Runi will not be suspicious, unless he is desperate to open a message or receive a call from Widuri right in front of his jealous wife.

Runi had closed her eyes with a blanket covering her body tightly. It turned out that he had taken the medicine he had gotten out of nowhere, Raka thought.

Raka bowed deeply on the headboard of her bed. Staring at the back of Runi who was lying on his back, he clucked in confusion. Then, very slowly, Raka took the phone that she kept in her pants pocket, which she had installed in silent mode.

Ah, that's right! As he predicted, his message and call were full by the name of Widuri. And like a magnet, just a few seconds after Raka opened her phone, the call came back in. In the name of Widuri.

"Raka!" As soon as Raka received the call, Widuri's voice was already shrieking loudly in her ear.

Raka turned her head nervously towards Runi who was already sleeping beside her. He was afraid that Widuri's shaky voice would interfere with Runi's rest. So Raka immediately got up from her bed, and stepped out of the room. He was looking for a safe place, which was far from the limits of Runi's hearing. Although Runi was already asleep, he was worried that Runi could listen to the chatter between him and Widuri.

Now, Raka feels safe because now she is alone on the back porch of her house, close to the kitchen. So, Runi will not be able to hear the screeching sound of Widuri, especially Raka does not cloud the speaker of the sound button.

"Yes, Duri." Raka greeted Widuri with a soft voice. "What's wrong?"

"Huh? What'd you say?" Beo Widuri with a scornful tone. He then took the promise that Raka had made to him this afternoon. "What time is it? You said you'd come back here? Why did you let me wait?"

"A-anu, Burr. Tonight it seems like I can't accompany you" said Raka with concern. "I can't come. I'm sorry, honey."

"Hhhhhh!" Widuri grunted disappointedly. "You promised, Raka! Why did you change your mind now?"

"I'm sorry, Duri. But, Runi is sick again. He was vomiting all the time. I think he got in the wind. Please understand me, baby," Raka said asking for understanding.

"Caper doang kali," Widuri's sergeant was upset. "You're really fishing, you don't usually care about him! Basic bummer!"

"Born, please understand me," Raka pleaded. "Tomorrow I will go there again, if Runi is healed. But I can't tonight, baby. I'm sorry."

"No idea, I did! Bodo time!" Widuri snarled with ketus. Then without warning, he disconnected his phone unilaterally.

Raka shut down her phone again as soon as Widuri's call was interrupted. He let out a long and heavy sigh, then stepped back into his house through the kitchen door.

Runi answered without making any sound. He just lifted a glass of water that was in his hand, then he swayed slowly, showing Raka that he was drinking a glass of water.

"You thirsty?" Ask Raka as she walks closer. "Why didn't you tell me? I can actually get it, baby."

Raka was a little nervous actually, as the distance between the seats occupied by Runi was located not too far from the point where he received the call from Widuri. Although he answered the call not in a loud voice, but within this close distance, it was certain that Runi could hear everything he said, although not with the voice of Widuri across there.

"Not to call me darling, Mom. I was disgusted to hear it from your dirty mouth," said Runi so sadistically.

"Hey. Don't be mad at dong?" Raka now pulled the chair next to Runi, then stomped his wife's nape slowly. He asked to switch the conversation, "You're still sick? Dizziness? Nausea? Lemes?"

"Put your hands away," Runi pinta dodged, patting Raka's hand that landed on her nape, then distancing her body. He continued in a low and trembling tone. Almost crying, but as hard as he could hold. "So this is the reason you've changed for almost two weeks, Mom? Because her? The woman I've always considered a best friend?"

Raka was speechless looking down on every slur Runi threw. It sounded so poignant, it was also laden with deep wounds.

"I just found out why you never wanted to eat my food. You never sleep at home. And you ..." Runi's gaze was deeply hurt as soon as he was about to continue his words. "... You never touch me. It must be because that woman's presence is back in your life."

"I-I'm sorry." Raka who already felt possessed, now no longer knew how to defend herself. Even all for free, Runi would not be able to accept every single one of her defences. Because it is true, Raka has betrayed.

"Go to your cheating house, Mom. I've gotten used to being home alone in the middle of the night blind, like my previous nights without you. " Runi spoke while smiling bitterly after she drank a mouthful of water from her glass. Because he only poured half a glass of water, then the drink was immediately toilet in one gulp.

"Nrou ..." Like a fool, Raka spoke with a stammer. He could not dodge anymore because it seemed like Runi already knew everything. As Widuri wanted, actually. He just left Runi feeling disappointed, then left him. If the plan works, he can go back to Widuri and knit the love with his ex-lover back from the beginning.

"Go!" Runi said back with eyes filled with hatred. He got up from his chair and stepped into the room. Raka followed.

Runi glared annoyedly seeing Raka tailing behind her. He intends to break down, but seeing the movements of Raka who seems not to be leaving tonight, making Runi feel so irritated and fed up.

Runi took each one pillow, one pillow bolster, and one blanket. He gave it to Raka who continued to follow behind him and now just arrived at the doorway of the room.

Runi said, "It's up to you to sleep where, Mas. Wanna go back to your cheating house, all right. Want to sleep in this house, too, please. But sorry, I don't want to sleep with you anymore. So, please sleep in the other room."
