"What's the name of Widuri in this village, Mas?" tanya Runi the next morning while preparing breakfast for her husband, which is a serving of hot opor with steaming sauce puffing appetizing. It was only seven in the morning, and Raka was getting ready to go to work.
"Huh? A sleepuri?" Raka asked as she frowned, astonished. Raka's cheeks bulged because he was chewing his breakfast, but stopped because he had to answer questions from his wife. "Don't you ask me that?"
"Just ask, Mom." Runi replied with a flat face, looking out at the past-goals of her husband's two eyeballs to find the truth there. Honestly, since the incident Raka delirious last night by calling the name of Widuri, Runi felt a slackness in her heart that was so extraordinary.
"In this village? Yeah just one. Cantika Widuri, your friend," replied Raka as she resumed her delayed chewing, making the big ball in her cheek deflate again.
"Ah, my question is wrong apparently," said Juni jeng by rolling his eyeballs. He was not so satisfied with the answer Raka gave that he repeated the question. "I corrected my question, Mom. How many Widuri have you known all this time?"
"What are you doing, how weird is that?" Raka asked as she grabbed the glass filled with white water that had been prepared by Runi in front of her. He almost choked apparently. Sipped once the water was to relieve the feeling of choking in the throat.
"Don't be, just answer it. People just ask this, "pinta Runi again.
Runi did not intentionally say that he had stolen the conversation between Raka and her mother a few weeks ago. He also tried to be innocent and did not know anything, because he hoped to get accurate information about Widuri, as well as what it had to do with Raka. Because if he behaves like he is investigating, it is likely that Raka will be tickling from him. As a result, Runi will not get answers and will only be lied to constantly.
Actually, it doesn't matter if Raka and Widuri have a past together. But the biggest question in true Runi is, if indeed they have intertwined the story in the past, is now the story has been completely finished? If it is over, why is the attitude of Raka and her mother as unusual?
"Are there any more named Widuri here?" Instead of answering correctly, Raka asked back with a carefree expression.
"Well, why ask, Mom? I'm new here, so I'm asking you." Runi said so patiently waiting for Raka's answer. He hoped that what Raka said was not what he expected, that there was another Widuri that Raka knew, which Raka was asked by Aswini to reconnect with the Widuri in question, and asked to part with-in other words get rid-Runi.
"Not there, baby. The Widuri I know is just one, the Cantika Widuri," Raka replied without burden. He swallowed the last mouthful of delicious opor made by his wife, then poured food in his mouth with water that was still left in his glass.
The deg!
So it's true what Runi thought, that this Widuri is that Widuri?
And is it true that the Cantika he knew was Widuri? Widuri who is the ideal woman for Aswini, her mother-in-law, as a woman who deserves to accompany Raka?
Nope, no! Why did Runi's brain start to feel spinning this time?!
"I'm off to work, baby!" Raka who was very innocent and did not know anything about it got up from her dining chair in a hurry. He raised his right wrist to peek at time. He said in surprise, "Ah, it's still 07:15. Just relax first."
He stepped onto the shoe rack to begin wearing his socks and work shoes. There are several types of shoes that Raka usually wears. If he is scheduled to work in the office then he will wear pantofel shoes, but if he has a schedule to control field conditions, he will wear shoes with rubber soles that will facilitate his mobility.
"Be careful, Mom. Last night it was raining, the road was slippery" Runi told her husband.
"Sure, baby!" Raka softly tipped the top of the head of Runi before really saying goodbye and passed by riding his big motorbike.
Taking off her husband's departure, Runi waved small. His gaze is still watching Raka's back shrink, with his big motorbike now starting to disappear in the corner of the road. Runi let out a long sigh to take off the burden that had recently hit the mind and messed up her soul.
These few weeks have been really tough tests for Runi. The fact that he had known so far was not liked by his mother-in-law and sister-in-law even before marrying Raka, certainly not a serious problem for him. The persistence of Raka's love all this time is able to melt Runi's heart and make her willing to accept Raka's proposal.
For Runi, it doesn't matter that everyone blasphemes him, as long as it isn't Raka. It doesn't matter that the whole world hates her, because she is an orphan girl who has no one left. But as long as there is Raka on the side, then Runi can still stand firmly facing the cruel world.
But what about now? When a name began to come out between her and Raka, and her husband's stance seemed to start to falter?
Runi tried not to think negatively. But in fact, he can't! How could he think positively while last night, Raka innocently delirious with a loud and hoarse voice called out the name of a woman in her sleep. In just a few minutes after they made love so hot! And that woman, not her!
Runi closed the door of her house slowly. His heart was still so troubled, tormented by the thousands of questions that were squeezing his chest. Tighten his airway.
Sitting in a work chair facing his favorite sewing machine, Runi intends to resume his work which was delayed last night because Raka dragged him into a battle full of sweat. Want to immediately return to work, but somehow the tears began to spill.
"Ah, no! Sensitive vows, you me!" luh Runi while chuckling at herself. He wiped away the tears that fell soaking his face with the back of his hand.
"Work, Runi! Work! It's no time to mess with rich young people like this!" namel Runi on herself. He also gave a small slap to his cheek, just to realize that the work is now more important than just obeying the turmoil of his heart.
Desperate with the increasingly disturbing heartache, now Runi brews a cup of jasmine tea to accompany her slightly messy morning. He sipped a drink that still felt a little hot and felt his stomach a little comfortable. Not to forget the achievement of a tabloid containing recipes on the bookshelf, read it page by page so that the reference dishes that he can serve for Raka are increasingly diverse. Yes, even though she was feeling a little annoyed at Raka, however, Raka was still her husband who she had to serve wholeheartedly.
While enjoying a cup of tea and reading recipes to improve the mood of his morning mess, suddenly a loud voice sounded above the precarious house.
BRAAAKKKKK!!!
Runi gasped. What is that sound?
