(S2) Karin, Come back to me.

"really?" dio said looking even more excited to hear that. All the time he waited for Karin from behind that glass with an erratic feeling. Now was the time he could really be next to that woman.

"Yes right Sir, I'll let you in" said the Doctor slightly smiling faintly.

"Thank you Doctor" said Dio again soon after following the Doctor.

Dio must obey the rules, he washes his hands clean, also uses special clothes to meet Karin. Slowly he approached the figure of his wife who was still asleep peacefully with life-sustaining aids in his body.

"Today, come to your senses" he said in a hoarse and heavy voice. He stretched out his hand to gently hold his wife's hand.

The atmosphere was silent without any answer, there was only the sound of a machine accompanying Dio.

"Sunday, you were so good at being pregnant with our child and you were able to fight that pain alone" Dio said, resisting the turmoil that makes his breath heavy until he has trouble just to say one word at a time.

"Today, now come back to me, don't sleep too long, I'm sure you're there to hear me. Karin, I'm here, come back, open your eyes, didn't you promise to stay with me" said Dio, his tears apparently unable to hold him, just flowing soaking his face.

I will definitely be mad at you Karin, please come back to me" Dio said in a slightly raised voice. Dio was still not willing when the nurse told him to get out among the busy doctor and the long screeching sound of the monitor. Outside, Dio leaned his head against the glass wall looking at Karin's stung body several times as the Doctor put pressure on her chest.

Dio raised his eyes when he saw that his wife's little body had to be pressed like that. Dio held his head that was suddenly dizzy, what did he just do? he who has caused Karin like this, he should not have forced Karin.

"Dio, what's up, son?" Both Karin's parents look rushed when they hear the busyness in the hallway.

Dio just shook his head weakly, he just kept staring at that glass. "Today, hang on, I promise I won't scold you later".

Long enough the Doctor took action inside before going out to meet Dio and the two Karin parents who were waiting.

"How's Doc?" ask them almost simultaneously.

"We can talk in my room" the doctor said, making the three of them look at each other.

"How did the doctor go?" ask Raimond.

"What's the effect Doc?" asked Dio who was very worried about going back to hearing bad news.

"Miss Karin suffered motor damage that disrupted the left brain's work system. This caused Miss Karin to have difficulty speaking and most severely, Miss Karin was paralyzed" the doctor said, causing Elmira's cries to break again.

Dio clenched his hands again holding back his feelings, he did not expect that the poison effect in Cindy's injection would be so terrible.

"Is there no second opinion Doctor? Will it be forever?" ask Dio.

Dio looked speechless, his heart ached at the Doctor's words. His head was getting hot because there was so much to receive today.

"If you want to let go of my daughter, we'll take her with a big heart" Raimond said. A decision that would definitely hurt his daughter, but he also did not want to force Dio to continue with his daughter because after all, Karin could not give Dio a future.

"No, there's nothing to let go. Karin has become my wife Pa, I want her to walk or not it will not change anything" said Dio shaking his head slowly and looking at Raimond with a stern look in his eyes red with tears. His voice even sounded vibrating.

Raimond was silent looking at Dio with all his emotions, his pain as if channeled with just those eyes.

"Father! I've asked permission to look after him for you. Now that I'm back asking you for permission, Papa, will you let me keep looking after him?" dio said back with his firm voice. The look in his eyes emitted a great seriousness.

Raimond and Elmira seem in disbelief, How Dio still wants to keep their daughter. But looking at those eyes made them very sure.

"Papa will let you"

Karin has been moved in the treatment room, the woman was aware of Mama Elmira's funds which first immediately embraced her son with a happy cry.

"Today, Karin woke up, son? How you feeling?" mama Elmira said she kissed her son's face as if she had not been able to kiss him for a long time.

Karin opened her mouth but she said nothing, her tears rolling down her cheeks. Karin then took his mother's hand and kissed her, knowing that this woman must be very worried about him.

Karin then glanced at the figure of the dashing man behind her Mama. Her father looked at her full of days, and there was another figure who even without Karin seeing her, he knew that the man was very worried about her. Dio's voice is still very much in his memory, Karin wants to wake up but it feels unable, he feels very tired and also not powerful. It felt like he really wanted to give up, but he again heard Dio's voice that kept asking him back and the man would wait for him. That's why Karin tried to re-open her eyes until she finally regained consciousness.
