Metallmorphosis
CHAPTER 2. Trapped in the Cactus Field.

Zinnia was still sitting in one of the chairs of the police station room after Ren left along with his lawyer and secretary. He sat down while shaking the chair he was sitting on.

“Pack your family phone.” Orders of one of the officers.

“I have no family, Sir.” Answer's relaxed.

“Then it's your brother.”

“I don't have a brother either, Mr.”

“Yes for God. Where there may be people who do not have a brother.”

“There, the proof is me.”

“You brought a KTP, right? Where's your ID here?” Pinta.

At first Zinnia refused to give it to her. But after seeing the officer glaring at him, he so inched and then took out his wallet. By being forced to surrender the ID to the officer.

“From earlier gini was finished working.” Grumpy officer who is upset because Zinnia stubborn.

The officer noticed Zinnia's identity card and then recorded it on the computer.

“Mur 25 is still demen nyopet, You. Find a halal job, Ma'am. Many out there are halal work.”

“Father of mental shamming anyway! I can sue you know, for unpleasant actions because my father has offended me.”

“Yes,, yes,, yes, yes,,” the officer seemed reluctant to respond to Zinnia.

Zinnia reached into his pants pocket when his cell rang. There is a name ‘Joo’ that appears on the screen ponselnya.

“Joooooo...” His whine suddenly while lifting his cell.

“Where? I'm at this location.” Said the man named Joham Syah. His voice sounded annoyed.

“At the police station.” Answer Zinnia casually.

“Hah? What's at the police station? Why?”

“Reg...”.

Joham seemed to understand what Zinnia meant by ‘bia’.

“Yes geez. You are yes. No kapoknya anyway!” Joham was grumbling.

“Buruan here.” Zinnia's order then turned off the phone unilaterally.

“You know the threat of your punishment?” Ask the officer back.

“3 years.” Again Zinnia answered him casually.

“That's know. Why are you still doing it?”

Zinnia.

But the chatter came to a halt when a bespectacled woman knocked on the door and then entered the room. The young woman introduces herself as the guardian of Zinnia.

Zinnia seemed to care less. He had expected that Selvi would come. Given that his mother must have been informed by acquaintances who were in the police station.

His mother's private secretary immediately solved the problem right then and there.

“So this is her son Bu Arsa?” The officer appeared to be whispering to his fellow colleagues.

No wonder. Because his mother is famous as a judge who is admired by many people who are struggling in the field of law. Including the police.

“Then we'll excuse you, sir. Thanks for the cooperation.” Said Selvi while forcing Zinnia to come out of the room through her head code.

Zinnia who was still in contact followed Selvi silently. Walk out of the police station towards the parked car.

“Why not log in?”

Selvi doesn't care. He nodded then got himself into the car.

Zinnia follows the departure of Selvi's car which begins to disappear from view. Stand up while occasionally kicking pebbles to drive away boredom.

If you remember the incident this afternoon, it feels very reluctant to go home. Because it can be ascertained that he will only get scolding from his father, mother, even his sister who ‘perfect’ it.

******

Flasback in the living room this afternoon.

Zinnia was busy with her phone. Sitting cross-legged on the sofa with the TV on without anyone seeing it. His right hand was busy picking up an onion cake snack from inside the jar on his lap.

When the sound of his mother's car returning from work, he immediately tidied up and closed the jar and put it back on the table. He also brushed off any crumbs that might have fallen on the couch.

“Mama has come home?” Sweep it with a smile.

“iya.” Reply Arsa who sat on the sofa. The middle-aged woman placed her bag on the table then leaned her head.

Zinnia hung up her foldable phone and then fixed her seat to face her mother.

“ma..” Sluggishly.

“What? What do you want?”

“Hehe.. Ummmm, Zinnia would like to see a concert in Malang, can you?”

“What concert?”

“Ya metal music concert.”

“Gak.” Reply Arsa firmly.

And instantly Zinnia's mood turned upset. He scowled at his mother with a small snort. Expressing his frustration when he has not said the reason.

“You want until when does this continue? Don't want to change what? Do not envy see your sister who has succeeded and succeeded at such a young age? How can Mama change you, Zinnia?”

Start off... Inner Zinnia was upset.

“At this age, you should have thought about work. What is your future fate? Look at your sister. His future is assured. Why are you guys different? You're not like a mama's child.” Grunts Arsa who is already upset. He was tired of working, coupled with his eldest daughter who always made trouble. Busy about what concerts are.

“Maybe I'm not Mama's son, kali.” Answer Zinnia.

“Zinnia!!” Arsa has been provoked by emotions.

“What's my fault, Ma? Stop banding-appealing I want to be with Navya! Mama never took care of my life and focused too much on Navya's life! Mama didn't even care when I asked to quit school and even just let me do it. Mama's life has only Navya! Navyah! And Navya! Only he can be proud of Mama and Papa without looking at me!” Zinnia is emotionally disturbed.

Plaque!

A slap from Hanafi who had just returned home from work but had already found his wife and child fighting.

“You have never been taught to respect your parents?! Every day fight continues if saidin.” Dengus Hanafi with his angry gaze.

Zinnia's heart was torn apart again. The slap on his sore cheek was not comparable to the one he felt in his heart. He still wants to fight. But upon seeing a shadowy flicker of Navya standing at the entrance, it made him reluctant to continue.

Like Baisa, Navya looked with a disgusting and petty look at him. The pain in his heart just increased.

Zinnia's sick of living in this house. He was fed up with all the treatment he always received from his parents and younger brother. He wanted to leave but he had no escape.

so upset, Zinnia immediately snorted to go through Navya. he came out of the house and did not care about the cry of his mother who called his name.

In the eyes of his family, he was invisible. Always underestimated by whatever he does. He wanted to get out of that stifling shell. Go to a place where people don't look down on him. And not compared to anyone.

For now, his escape is metal music. As he heard the thump after bang in his ear, making his heart and mind empty. For a moment, he could forget the place that made him endless cramped.

Since childhood is not considered and always underestimated by his own family. It was like living in the middle of a cactus. Wherever he moved, the painful thorns would continue to pierce through his skin. It causes the wound to itch and slowly rot.
