CHAPTER 8. Good Days Are Not the Best.

Friendship, like a cocoon.

Turning a caterpillar into a butterfly.

Friends are like cocoons.

Things that don't turn out to be beautiful.

Friendship, like a cocoon.

Keeeeeeeppoooommmppoooooo!!!

Zinnia coolly kicked down the sidewalk of the highway while nodding his head. He is a big fan of metal music. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know pop songs.

The girl had just come out of Joham's office and was walking on the sidewalk. After getting a barrage of frustration from Joham because he had made the man's face as his painting canvas.

Zinnia. He likes to walk alone along the sidewalk of the highway to just breathe fresh air.

Fresh air?

When his stomach was hungry, he saw a wagon meatballs seller on the sidewalk. Soon he walked there and ordered a bowl of meatballs for himself.

After eating, he approached the seller's father while giving his used bowl.

“Pak, need employees, no?” Ask Zinnia directly.

The father looked at him in wonder.

“If there is a vacancy I want to register, Sir.” Say Zinnia again to convince the seller.

The father only looked at Zinnia from head to toe.

“Need, anyway. Looking for employees again. Butii..” The father hesitated to accept Zinnia because of his grotesque appearance.

“Don't look outside, sir. I'm diligent, sir. Thank me yes, Sir?” Force Zinnia while putting on the widest smile he had.

“OK, lah.”

“How many salary, sir?”

The father laughed at the frankness of Zinnia. He felt sorry because it seemed like Zinnia really was in need of money.

“Gaji per day 30thousand. Work from 10 to 4 pm. How?”

Zinnia raised his eyeballs. His brain was spinning to calculate the results of his hard work if collected greetings a month.

30,000x30 days. In a month he can pocket 900 thousand money. It was far from the allowance he received from his mother. But it's fine. This was already a good start as a step of his independence.

“OK. The deal! If so, I want to introduce myself first. My name is Zinnia, sir. Package z, not j.” Zinnia Strictly.

“Hahahaha. Yep, yeah. I'm Pak Jaya.”

“You have received a lot of me, Mr. Jaya.” Zinnia shook Pak Jaya's hand until she shook it vigorously. Some customers are watching them

“So I can work today, sir?” Ask Zinnia.

“Udah. It was closed too. Tomorrow only.”

“Ready, Sir!” Zinnia poses a flag salute to Pak Jaya. Making the middle-aged man only fiddled with Zinnia's behavior like an elementary school child.

Zinnia returned home after getting reassurance from Pak Jaya. Along the way, he was very happy because this was his first job. He promised to do everything very well and work hard in his efforts.

Zinnia continued to beat in his heart even while he was in the taxi that would drive him home.

Today is a good day. First, the charges have been dropped. And he got his first job. Today is the best day for him.

“Good afternoon, Sir!” Zinnia said he greeted security at his home as soon as he got out of the taxi.

And when he entered his house. Zinnia went straight to the kitchen and looked for fruit.

“Search what, Non?” Tanya Lida, her housekeeper.

“No fruit, Ma'am?”

“There. Mango in the refrigerator. Want to peel?”

Zinnia immediately nodded. He was waiting at the dining table and playing with his cell phone. Five minutes later the mango was ready on the plate and he immediately brought the mango plate into his room.

While enjoying the mango, Zinnia continued to play the phone. Over time, her eyelids began to feel heavy and she fell asleep.

Zinna was shocked when she heard the door of her room being knocked from outside. Because he woke up in a hurry, he to nudge the mango plate and make mango scattered on the sheet. Leaves yellow stains there.

Geck, tok, tok.

The door is back on tap for the second time. Zinnia immediately got out of bed and opened the door. In front of the door was Navya, her sister who was staring coldly at her.

“For a long time, anyway.” Navya's snort that just rushed into Zinnia's room. The girl went straight into Zinnia's dressing room without permission and immediately opened the closet and took a look at each of Zinnia's clothes. There was absolutely no manners shown to the older brother.

“What, anyway?” Zinnia asked annoyed.

“Shirt pins. My sister's clothes are all black. I'm going to go to a tea party and dress code black sweatshirt. I don't have a black shirt.” Navya answered by still breaking the clothes hanger of her brother.

“Hei!” Shouted Zinnia who was already annoyed half to death restraining emotions.

Navya did not bother him at all and still did the action.

Impatiently, Zinnia clutched her brother's arm tightly, leaving Navya shocked and stopped. He looked at his sister with an angry look and did not accept it.

He did not want to lend me his clothes. But Navya did not excuse him first and directly pushed into his room. That pisses him off.

It made Zinnia feel unappreciated as a big brother. Navya looked down on him too much.

This is what their parents taught them. Even Navya had absolutely no respect for her brother. And tends to underestimate it. Whatever he does, he will get a defense from his father or mother. It made Navya's attitude become arrogant towards her own brother.

Navya feels great and Zinnia is nothing compared to her.

“What, anyway. I just want to pinjem clothes doang.” Navya strained Zinnia's hand until it slipped. Then he went back to breaking the hanger to find clothes.

Brak!

Zinnia closed the closet door forcefully until it made a loud noise. Making Navya surprised instead of playing. Fortunately, he quickly pulled his hand. Otherwise his hand would have been hurt.

“Hei! My hand!!!!”

“Is that how you borrow things from others?” Asked Zinnia who seemed to be holding back.

“But spy, anyway! Also asked to borrow clothes!” Dengus Navya's.

“Why the hell, fuss?” Arsa's voice shocked Zinnia and Navya. The two girls immediately looked over

towards the door. There, Arsa was standing still wearing full-service clothes. It seemed like he had just returned home from the office when he heard his daughters fuss over something and went straight up to the second floor.

“This, Ma. Navya wants to pinch her stingy shirt for mercy.” Navya immediately complained to her mother.

“Living in pinjemin aja why should be in a storm first, sih.” Arsa instead of mediating makes Zinnia even more upset.

“Yes because he immediately glorified aja kayak in the animal cage. Immediately hit my clothes without excuse. Who's not upset, Ma.” Zinnia also tried to complain.

“You as a sister give a little why, anyway. It's just the selonongin, angry. Mature little so tuh.”

Zinnia could only stare at them in annoyance. He still refrained from starting the debate tonight. Which even the winner can be determined since the quarrel has not happened.

The beautiful day turned bad.
