CHAPTER 9. Hiding Yourself in the Darkness.

Ren is engrossed in his work as his phone continues to ring. He ignored the call from Fandi who had called him since this afternoon.

But over time, he could not stand it either and was forced to lift it.

“Ren, Grandpa made a promise with Gladis. 8 O'clock at restaurant Limma.”

“Guys!” Ren protested not to accept because Fandi did not ask permission first.

After knocking on the door, the waiter invited Ren to enter.

Ren just gaped at the door looking at the strange scene in front of him.

There, Gladis looks like he is enjoying something without caring about the arrival of Ren. The girl was kissing a man who was there too. Ren almost thought he had entered the room wrongly. Fortunately, he memorized Gladis' face even though he had just seen it from a photo.

“Oh, sorry.” Gladis said late. He had noticed Ren's arrival since then. He did it deliberately to make a bad impression on Ren.

Apparently, Ren and Gladis have the same intention without being agreed.

Ren tried not to care. He took a seat in front of Gladis and the man.

“Sorry I have to bring my girlfriend here. But don't tell me anything about my Papa, huh?” Gladis opened his card without being asked.

“What the fuck? I was asked to meet you but you brought a girlfriend here?” Ren Protest.

The waiter helps Ren put the food boxes in his car. Once all was ready, he immediately drove his car towards the direction of home.

Ren continued to focus behind the wheel. He also occasionally spread his eyes to find people he would give food to. Sometimes he came down to give food to the taxi-man, scavenger, beggar who was lying in the shop. Even the buskers at the intersection of the red light. Because the food he brought a lot.

Only one food box remained in the back seat of the car. He returned his eyes to find people.

Ren started down a fairly deserted road from the vehicle. In the distance, he saw a human silhouette sitting on the sidewalk. His face was not clear because the light was blocked by the acacia tree above him.

Ren starts to pull over his car and picks up the food box from the back seat. Then he got down and walked carefully closer to the man. In his heart he was also worried that until the person was ODGJ (People With Mental Disorders).

“Iya, equally.” Ren tried to let go of his hand.

The woman stood up and thanked me again. And that's when Ren was shocked. So does that woman.

“Oh? FD Corp!” Pekik Zinnia who was no less surprised. He pointed right in front of Ren's nose.

“You?”

Ren gave Zinnia a bottle of his leftover tea. At first he thought that the girl would not accept him out of disgust. But quite the opposite. Zinnia immediately drank the tea. He was relieved that no one was stuck in his throat anymore

“Still.” Said Zinnia who returned the empty bottle of tea to Ren. Making the man continuously frown in wonder.
