CHAPTER 44. Pain Due to Wrong Predictions.

Ren was still staring and did not understand what Zinnia had just said. One sentence that kept on cringing in his head was,

“Son Ren keeps my heart pounding!”

Ren's gaze was still fixed towards the tightly closed bathroom door. He was waiting for the girl who also kept making his heart pound to get out of there.

But, what does Zinnia mean by ‘ already have a candidate’? Inner Ren. Zinnia was kind of upset when he mentioned it earlier.

The bathroom door opened after more than five minutes of Zinnia being inside. He seemed to have finished applying the ointment on his face. The girl then walked up to her bag containing her clothes and walked out of the room without caring about Ren.

Confused, that was what Ren was feeling right now. He only looked at Zinnia's back who started to move away from him and disappeared behind the door.

Now he was very sure that Zinnia was angry with him. Butwhy? Ren could not find the reason.

Is it because Ren made his heart beat so much that he was angry at Ren? But it's so absurd.

“Huffhhh.” Ren sighed deeply to calm his mind. Then he went down and immediately grabbed the car key from the small bowl that was usual to put the key there.

Zinnia waited for Ren beside the car by folding his hands in front of his chest. He threw away his face and would not look at Ren. It seemed that he was angry with Ren.

Actually, Zinnia doesn't like to behave like this. He had no right to be jealous of Ren and his candidate. But somehow he seemed unable to control his heart and actions. He was trying to quell the upset voice that was bothering him.

“Udah, sneak in!” Shouted Ren who was already in the car and preparing behind the wheel.

Zinnia's lips are still pursed. Even as he was already sitting sweetly next to Ren. His hand was still consistently folded in front of his chest. Looking straight ahead without looking at Ren.

Ren just turned his head with a curious look as to why Zinnia was angry at him. He turned his body to the girl. Closer, and closer to Zinnia.

Zinnia was aware of Ren's movements which were now only a few cent away from her. In that situation, somehow the anger felt by Zinnia seemed to become more and more. He snorted annoyedly and then turned to Ren.

“Paint way, Brother. Wait what else?” Zinnia is upset that Ren has not started his car.

Ren did not answer. He just kept his body closer and extended his hand past Zinnia's body. He grabbed his seat belt and put it on.

“Where to go? You didn't hear the seatbelt alarm from earlier?” Ren's words made Zinnia attacked by an inscrutable feeling of shame.

Zinnia's face turned blustery. Not because of Ren's sweet attitude that buttoned her seat belt. But because he had lost his shame and misinterpreted Ren's attitude.

The car started to slowly drive out of the villa courtyard. And Zinnia was still faithful with her lips tightly closed.

“Why are you, anyway? Angry at me? What did I do wrong?” Ren asked in courage.

The car driven by Ren has entered a toll road that looks more deserted than usual.

Zinnia was silent. He threw a look out the window. He wanted to answer, but his laziness was dominating.

“Zinnia?”

“Hm?” Zinnia answered as he could.

“Why you?”

“Gak nothing.”

“Nothing but it's so bad. Say dong, why? Are you sick again? Dizziness? Nausea?” Ren railed the question.

“Nggak.”

“What the hell is Brother?! Ren bawel. I told you I was okay. Why do they keep going?” Zinnia began to vent his frustration. He faced Ren with a frown that was furrowed.

Ren sounded out a slow breath. He drove the car off the highway to a restaurant and took Zinnia to lunch there.

“We have lunch first, yes?” Bargain Ren.

“No need. I'm not laper.” Dengus.

Already, Ren was already unable to contain himself due to his curiosity. He pulled the car over the shoulder of the road and stopped the car.

“You why the hell? Angry not clear like this? Like a little boy know not?” Ren was also on the verge of his patience. “Manalah asked do not answer what the problem is.”

“Fuuhhhh hahahha.” Ren could not help but laugh.

Zinnia. Now his frustration is growing. He felt humbled after hearing Ren's laughter. Feeling ridiculed by the man.

“So the story is you are jealous again, is it? So angry is unclear?”

“Who is jealous? Just delicious. Why am I jealous too? I don't think there's a job.” Dengus Zinnia was embarrassed because his attitude had been read by Ren.

“but I don't care if you're jealous. I like it instead. That means you're not kidding when you say you like me.”

Zinnia. He still did not fully digest what Ren had just said. But then he came back upset.

“I'm kidding. Why also I like the same people who already have candidates.”

And the one that came this morning, the doctor who took care of you last night. I'm just saying thank you to him for taking care of you.” Obviously Ren. He did not dare to tell about his past relationship with Sinta. Because he did not want to destroy that thrilling moment.

Though actually Ren did not want to express his feelings at this time. He was waiting for the right time and wanted to surprise the girl. But what the power of the situation turned out to be unsupportive.
