Metallmorphosis
CHAPTER 4. Freedom to Find the Right Time.

Ren was seriously reading line by line the contents of the peace letter given by Selvi. Next to him, Heru was also seriously responding to the atmosphere.

“There, no one harms the Father let alone FD Corp. In fact, the articles are more profitable for personal Fathers and FD Corp on the whole. So I ask that Mr. Ren be willing to immediately cancel the demands of the father to the daughter of Ms. Arsa.”

Ren looked indifferent. He threw the file on the table just like that lazily.

“I want him who came directly to apologize to me.” Said Ren firmly.

“There's more, Sir?”

“Neg. That's enough.”

“Good, Mr. Ren. Tomorrow, I will come here again with the daughter of Ms. Arsa.” Selvi Promise.

Ren nodded in agreement. He and Heru deliver Selvi's departure to the front of his room.

“Then I say goodbye first.” Said Heru.

“Iya, Sir. Thank you very much Mr. Heru.”

“Sama-sama.”

Ren walked back to his desk. Plopped his back on the chair then rubbed his face violently. His memory is recalling an incident last night that left him unable to sleep all night. His chest was filled with a sense of annoyance half-dead because he was wrongly accused and even brought to the police station as well.

Ren did not want to drop his lawsuit. But after much thought, there would be no point if he continued this trivial matter. It will take up his time and his mind.

Geck, tok, tok. The door of the room was knocked from outside.

“Log.” Ren's orders.

From behind the door, Navya appears who walks gracefully to Ren's desk. He put a stack of files on Ren's desk.

“This is a proposal you asked for yesterday.” Navya.

“Oh, Yes. Thanks Navya.”

Navya just nodded then turned around and walked out of Ren's room. The man just glanced at that resolute back before disappearing behind the door. Then he focused back on his work

Ren was troubled as his phone continued to vibrate on the table. He was reluctant to answer if it was not from his grandfather.

“Iya, Cake?” Sapa Ren shortly after he put the phone to the ear.

“Ren? Want to have lunch with Grandpa?” Tawar Fandi from across the phone. “Pocket come to Limma restaurant yes.”

Ren looked at his watch for a moment. “Iya, Cake. Ren is there now.”  Ren's promise before closing the phone.

Ren comes out of his room and is immediately greeted by Ariga.

“Ga, I'm going out for a minute. You don't have to come.” Firmly Ren while chuckling after seeing the ariga expression that seemed not to accept being left behind.

Ariga gives the car keys to Ren who is immediately grabbed by the man.

Ren continued walking towards the basement parking lot of the building. Arriving there, he got into his car and then immediately drove the car to a place that had been told by his grandfather.

The streets of the capital this afternoon look more jammed than usual. Even the drizzling rain has started to fall. Make some motorcyclists then pull over his vehicle in the store's headquarters.

After crossing the red light, Ren turned the car to the left entering the courtyard of the Limma restaurant. Restaurant exclusive. All customers are VIP.

A parking valet immediately approached Ren's car as soon as the car stopped in front of the restaurant. Ren then gets out and hands the car keys to the man. He immediately entered the restaurant.

“Mari, Sir. Already in the same waiting Mr. Fandi.” The waiter told.

Ren followed the waiter to a VIP room on the 2nd floor. He knocked on the door twice to announce his arrival. Then he opened the door and told Ren's arrival to Fandi who was waiting inside.

“Oh, have you come?” Ask Fandi who immediately saw the arrival of his favorite grandson.

Ren immediately smiled and sat down across from Fandi. A short time later, two waiters came by pushing the trolley and then moved the food onto the table.

“Come, eat. We will not be together for long. I was on your Papa's phone, but he said he was busy. Your mother is also in Jogja. He said he misses his son and daughter-in-law. Ranu, isn't she the same as Grandpa? Tu boy has not been here for a long time.” Obviously Fandi opened the chat.

“Maybe busy, Cake. Understand, newlyweds. How's Grandpa's knee?” Ask Ren. Given some time ago Fandi was unable to walk because his knee hurt.

“Ya regular. His name is keeping it strong. It is natural that the joints are broken. Hehehehe.”

“Why not be treated anyway, Kek?”

“How are you treated? Sick because that age can not be cured, Ren.”

“Why did you take lunch? What do you want to say?” Guess Ren. Because usually Fandi must have something to talk about when asking to meet or just eat out.

Fandi, who was chewing his food, suddenly stopped his chewing. He took a picture from the chair next to him and thrust it to Ren.

“Children Mr. Governor. Pretty, right? Her name is Gladis”

Ren sounded out sighs while receiving the photo. “Cantics.” Lazy answer.

Now Ren already knew the reason the grandfather took him to lunch together.

“You Grandpa make an appointment?”

“Kek...” Ren voiced out in protest.

“Ren... You are three heads. It is time for you to go up the stairs. Your sister just married it. What are you waiting for again? Gladis is a good girl. Try to meet him first.”

“Kek, we've already discussed this.”

“Grandpa was bored. For years you have always avoided. Just a courtship. None of which you are serious about.”

It's been. Ren's appetite had already disappeared completely. He was tired of the discussion again, that's what Fandi discussed. There is no more important language. Even though both parents never pressured him and gave him the freedom to choose the right time.

“Kek. I can take care of my own life. Grandpa doesn't have to interfere with my soul mate.” Resolute Ren. “If the time is right I can find it myself.”

“Yes, but when? Grandpa's hunt is dead. Grandpa wants to have a great-granddaughter, Ren.”

“Kan Ranu is married. Grandpa could have a great-granddaughter of him. Why bot?” Ren was getting upset.

“Grandfather has already promised Gladis' parents. Grandpa asked for help with you. Once a time meet him.” Please Fandi.

Ren sighed again. If he continues to refute the request, then the debate will never be finished until anytime.

“Ya. Just once but.” Ren's promise is conditional.

Fandi smiled broadly hearing that. He was sure, this time, Gladis was able to melt Ren's heart.

Ren did not continue his meal. Because his appetite has already flown somewhere. So he left immediately and left the restaurant.
