My boy, I Love You

My boy, I Love You
Chapters 13. Mr. Arogants

Sam laughed out loud. "Misunderstand? Aboutwhat? I was talking on the phone." Sam patted Lia on the shoulder, "You don't need to know my business. Sort Leon. Make sure he's training well."

Lia was a little relieved, it meant her anger had nothing to do with her son. "So who are you going to finish? I don't think you're a good man. And sorry, I'm gonna take Leon home."

Sam stopped his steps, he turned his body. Some of the participants in the quarantine house looked at them with strange gazes.

Sam scratched his nose while laughing softly. He walked closer to Lia. He held her hand and dragged her into the kitchen and locked the door.

The look in his eyes was sharp, very intimidating. Lia lowered her face, she could no longer move. His body had been cornered on the corner wall of the room.

Lia was so scared. When a hand touches his face and lifts it up. For a moment, their eyes looked at each other.

"This house is full of talent search participants. So please speak well. It's not that Leon's smallest participant means he's everything. I hope you understand."

Sam took off his hand. It runs towards the coffee machine, concocting and brewing into two cups. He offered a cup to Lia.

A smile spread on his lips. He walked to a small table in the corner of the room.

"thank you. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have suspected you and reacted like that." Lia sat in the chair in front of Sam.

"How much sugar do you need?"

"Two. Thank you." Thank you."

Sam walks into the freezer, "Do you like cakes?" His hand picked up a white box from inside the refrigerator and walked back to the dining table.

"From your talk, Leon is a smart kid" Sam said as he thrust a slice of cake into a small dish. "I think he tricked me into picking you up."

Sam laughed faintly realizing his stupidity. Lia smiled as well. A moment later their gazes met.

Lia immediately looked down at the americano in her cup and sipped it. Ah, really awkward.

While Sam has not stopped staring at the beautiful woman before him. There was a strange feeling in his heart. Feelings of admiration for independence, assertiveness and must also be acknowledged, her beauty.

Lia choked in that very awkward situation. He drank in a hurry. Spontaneous Sam stood up and patted his back.

Lia coughed as she stood trying to avoid Sam. "Excuse me. I'll see Leon. Thanks for the coffee."

Lia rushed out of the kitchen. While Sam clucked with his regret. "I have to get it. That lady. Whatever it is."

Lia opened Leon's room. The little boy greeted him with a bright smile. He knew his father and mother had started communicating. It was a great achievement for him.

Lia pinches her son's nose. "Leon, I know this is just your wits, right?"

Leon smiled, still covering up his desire for his father and mother to unite. "I want my mom to visit me often."

"Yes, he will visit you often." Suddenly there was a baritone voice behind Lia.

"Yes...! And I will try hard to win this competition" he said in a cheerful voice.

Leon immediately snatched his violin and started swiping it. A melodious rhythm runs throughout the room. Sam and Lia enjoyed it until the song ended.

They clapped their hands together and returned unintentionally, their gazes meeting each other. Lia was so nervous.

"I'd better go home now." Lia got up from her chair. "I'll visit you next time, Leon."

Leon put the violin down. "Did mommy not like to hear her song?"

"Bu-not Leon. Mommy just has to go home. Practice well and make your mom proud, baby." Lia hugged her son.

"Please promise me you'll visit Leon often."

"Is this a soap opera? You'll see each other soon." Sam was getting impatient. "I'll be waiting for you up front, Lia. I'll take you home."

"You shouldn't have left the quarantine house just to pick me up and drive me home" Lia said. In addition to feeling awkward, now Lia also feels a burden.

Samuel laughing. "What if otherwise. I have an outing, so you guys take you home."

Lia smiled, "What means is it, is it killing someone and their family?"

Samuel replied, "Right. Exactly right."

Lia was slightly goosebumps hearing that justification. Who exactly is Samuel Augusto, what is his covert business other than a musician.

"Lia, you're a single parent. Don't you have any plans for a wedding?" The question that suddenly came from Samuel's lips suddenly made Lia smile wryly.

"Wedding?"

Samuel pulled his car over. He removed his safety belt. Then the man pulled Lia to kiss his lips. Lia pushed her body away. "What are you doing?!"

"Lia, marry me."

Lia shook her head. "I can't. I can't, Sam." The woman opened the car door and got out. He ran away and got further and further away.

"This meeting is too late. In a few days, I'm even getting married to Ray. You're so late Sam," he said inwardly. "And of course, I couldn't have betrayed Ray."

The woman waved her hand at a taxi passing in front of her. And the taxi immediately took her out of Sam's sight.

Samuel Augusto, the beautiful musician was never rejected by any girl. It is even the one who always rejects them, because it does not conform to his criteria. He laughed out loud in his car. He thought, karma is greeting him. As he feels the feeling of love for someone, even the woman without making small talk rejects him, even running away from him. How irony.

"Lia? Where are you from?" ray asked as he saw the woman emerge from the entrance of his house.

"I just went to see Leon. He said he missed me." Lia put her bag on the table. Massaged his own nape.

"Are you tired, baby?" ask Ray. The man sat beside her. Lia put her head on Ray's chest.

"Is your problem solved?" Lia asked back.

"Yet. Looks like my uncle ran away. And I had to intervene alone to take care of my father's legacy." Ray plays Lia's hair with his fingers.

"Will this affect our marriage? I mean, your busyness."

Ray smiled. "I don't want anything to hinder our marriage. I even want to speed it up."

"So, are you still thinking of celebrating with a luxury?" ask Lia. "I even just want a simple wedding."

"Alright Lia. Simple wedding. I followed your will. As long as it's you, baby." The man hugged her lover's waist and kissed her lips gently.

Suddenly a ringing sound was heard from Ray's pocket. Ray looked at the name on his screen and picked it up in a hurry.

Lia almost heard clearly the panicked voice from the caller. "Boss, he found us. What should we do."
