My boy, I Love You

My boy, I Love You
Chapter 52. The Guest

"Yes, I know. It must be really hard raising a kid as smart as Leon's alone." Sam appreciates his wife.

Lia shook her head, "No. He gave me too many sweet surprises for his achievements before our move here. And I really enjoyed it." Lia took off her hair strap and turned to look at her husband.

"There's something that's bugging my mind, Sam. About Black." Lia got on top of her bed and started to pull the blanket over her body.

"Yes, just say it."

"Isn't it an irony that he who tried to harm me will suddenly turn you into a guard for me." Her pair of eyes looked at her husband who was beginning to shuffle into the warmth of his blanket.

"He's a tough guy, a strong commitment holder. He would be very dangerous if he was on the wrong side." Now the two eyes meet each other. "Because of that, I want him to take care of you. I don't want to lose you a second time."

Samuel kissed his wife. Her hand stroked gently her long black hair unraveled. "Thank you for staying with me. Thank you for all your hard work raising our son. And please stay by my side forever."

A line of smiles was seen on Lia's lips, while her eyes had been closed. Today was really exhausting for him.

A gentle kiss on his body aroused his passion. Without opening his eyes he squirmed. "Sam. Pleases. I'm so tired today."

The man ignored him. And hugged his wife's body tighter.

Black stared at the ceiling of his new room. It was like a dream, getting an offer that was not against the law. Maybe true, it's time he changed. He closed his eyes and began to sleep.

"Alexa, Alexa!" Black chases after the high school girl who keeps running away from him. The narrow hallway next to their High School looks vacant.

"Nich -- don't come any closer. We have to end our relationship." The girl's tears melted on her cheeks. His hand rubbed it rough.

"Are you mad at me?" ask Black.

"I'm sorry, you're not the one who's guilty. I feel unworthy." His voice is getting heard. "They'll hurt you -- if I -- kept --"

Black didn't want to waste a chance. He ran over and was about to hug his girlfriend. The girl's pair of eyes were rounded, she quickly pushed Black against the wall of the hall before an eruption could be heard.

The girl's body collapsed. His white shirt was covered in blood. His pair of eyes blinked with lips that looked like he was about to say something. Her tears welled up in her eyes.

"Nicho, I like you," he said before becoming unconscious.

"Alexa!"

The man opened his eyes. Staring at the wall clock that was still faithfully circulating on its axis. It's lying at every step. "It's still two o'clock, apparently."

I don't know why the memories of his past came back to his mind.

The girl, the first love and also the last love for him. At that time he was very young, too weak to figure out the truth, too weak to act.

Black tried to close his eyes again, trying to fall back asleep in his sleep. But in his mind now there is only a girl named Alexa.

"Nicho, do you like me?" ask the little girl while looking her face at her lover. His hands were swaying spoiled as if he did not want to escape.

"Alexa, do I have to say it a hundred times?"

The girl nodded quickly. A smile on his lips. "I want to hear that phrase as often as possible. Even I want everyone to know, that Nicholas is Alexa Wijaya's lover."

The petite girl hugged her lover's neck, her legs tiptoed and then kissed her lips gently. The lover hugged her back to his waist.

Suddenly someone patted the back of the young man who was drunk in love. The pair of young men were shocked when each of their hands were slashed so tightly that they separated.

A violent punch lodged in his cheekbones. "Stay away from Alexa, or you'll lose your life."

"No!"

The man woke up again. His body was full of sweat. His lips were screaking when he saw the indicator lights on his room cooler go off.

"Damn! Maybe I should be trapped forever with this feeling of mine." Black slammed his body back into his bed.

"Good morning, is this really the residence of Samuel Augusto, the husband of Cornelia Hartomo?" asked a young man in front of the gate.

Black looked at him with suspicion. "What do you need to find our host?"

The man pointed towards a black car parked in front of the gate. "Mr Hartomo, her father wants to meet."

Black pulled out his phone, seeing that he was talking to someone. But soon, Lia is seen running out of the main house.

An old man came down from the black car. A smile on his face. Lia ran to hug him. "Father! Finally, Papa's here." Lia's face looked very cheerful.

The old man held his cane and walked slowly. "How's your life, son? Are you happy?"

Lia smiling. "Everything thanks to Papa's prayer."

"Th-thank goodness. Is my smart grandson healthy?" ask again.

Not until they got to the main door, a little boy came out with a bright smile approaching them. "Grandpa!" yells.

Hartomo chuckled, the old man stroked the hair of his granddaughter who was hugging him. "My grandchildren are big, smart and handsome."

Samuel greeted him at the door with a big smile. Hartomo sighed. Suddenly he remembered what happened eight years ago. How rude he was to throw out his only daughter because of this man standing before him.

Sam looked clumsy, he lowered his outstretched hand without a reply. Ah--this is not a good thing. Sam is guilty, after all. And either way he had to figure out a way to make up with his father-in-law.

"Papa, Sam has been looking for me for eight years. And it's not all his fault. He won't be able to find me because he doesn't even know my name." This time Lia giggled to herself.

Lia knew she had to help her husband improve his image of being found guilty of irresponsibility.

Hartomo smiled, that was not the only thing that made him unable to accept his daughter's husband. He couldn't even forgive himself for having to throw his daughter away. And this mistake is because of this guy.

"Papa, I've forgotten everything that happened eight years ago. Let's live happily on this new page." Lia saw the turmoil in her father's heart.

"Lia, papa will try to forget everything. Papa has not been able to forgive himself. Short-minded by expelling you," he said.

Lia clasped Hartomo's hand, gently patting the wrinkled hand. "Papa. It's all over."

Hartomo took a long breath. "There's actually something you want to say. It's about our company. Papa was unable to continue managing it. Papa's gonna retire soon."
