My boy, I Love You

My boy, I Love You
Chapter 3 Auditions

Leonard opened the door to the audition room. A room wide enough with a long table and 3 judges were behind it.

The boy sighed. It was not once that he entered a competition. But the competition he is currently participating in is very different from the one he has ever participated in.

Leon stepped towards the center of the stage with complete confidence. He stepped up while grasping the hardcase in his right hand.

"Good afternoon I say to all the judges" he said.

"Hi Leon's. Leonard Savero, isn't he? 7 Years old" said a female jury. "OK, Leonard. You can show me your talent now."

Leonard walked towards the corner of the room. He put his hardcase on the floor and opened it and pulled out a violin and a violin (bow).

The little boy took a deep breath, placed his hand on the violin neck and propped his chin on the chinrest of the violin. Then swipe the bow gently and soulfully.

A jury stopped his appearance. "Wow wow, wait. What's the title of this song, Leon?"

"Bach Partita D Minor" he replied smoothly.

"A classic music. Alright. Do you have anything more entertaining in general?" the jury said without saying anything

Leon laughs. "What do you mean by easy listening? Like the current trend songs?"

"Yes, that's what I mean. Not everyone understands classical music," he replied.

"alright. This song I present to you judges whom I respect" the boy said with a smile. It'll even be easier for him. Ordinary songs are very easy for the boy who is a fan of classic music.

Leon again positioned his chin and hands as before. After closing his eyes for a moment, he took a breath and started swiping back his bow. A fast rhythm that is truly riveting. Even Miss Erry shook her body.

Leon with expressive gestures mastered the stage. Move left and right, back and forth and even stomp his feet until the song he is playing is done.

The three jurors stood up and clapped loudly.

"Wow. That's amazing, boy. Despasito by Leonard violin," Samuel stood clapping.

"Can you repeat the song? I still want to sway," said Miss Erry. "verry attractive. I really enjoy it."

"Thank you," said Leonard. "I can perform any song, Miss. With my pleassure."

"Good and polite child" said Miss Erry. "Leonard, 7 years. Your parents must be so proud of you."

"I'm the only one who feels this" Joe said. "Leonard, do you have any relations with Samuel?"

Leonard looked at the face of the man named Samuel in turn with Joe before replying.

"I just met Mr. Samuel. Whether I have a relative relationship with him, I don't know either" he replied honestly.

"Yes, I feel like they're pretty similar. Joe, you're right. What's your parents' name, son?" ask Miss Erry.

"Lia, Cornelia Savero," Leon replied, "that's my mother's name."

"Who is your father?" Joe knitted his fingers together.

"I don't know who my father is. My mother never told me. And I don't want to hurt her with a question like that. I'll find my father in my own way."

"alright. I think you should start by investigating Samuel, "Joe said, laughing at his co-judge. Samuel pointed to himself.

Leon smiled, "I'd be happy if he turned out to be my father."

Samuel laughing. "alright. Here's my ticket for you, son. Move on to the next round. And make your father proud."

"Miss Erry will also be waiting for your next performance, Leon. It should definitely be more attractive, ok."

Leon laughed while doing hi five with the female jury. Very friendly woman.

"Thank you to all the good-natured judges" Leon said, bowing respectfully.

"Don't forget you have to undergo quarantine during the competition. The place where you're going to continue to be grazed with various exercises" Joe said.

"So among the three of us, who would you choose to be your guide?" ask Joe.

Miss Erry smiled and pointed at herself. Persuaded the boy to choose himself as his guide.

Leon smiled, his finger pointing at the man at the end of the table. "I want my guide, Mr. Samuel."

Miss Erry dropped herself on the chair. He showed his disappointed face.

"Erry, let father and son unite." Joe chuckled chuckling at the expression of his comrades. "don't separate them."

Erry liked Leon very much from the beginning of the show, he really enjoyed the performance. A talented genius. No child of his age could play classical music with a violin. Moreover, it is the music of Bach Partita D Minor, which even adults are still difficult to play.

Samuel hugged Leon. He patted the little boy on the back as if he was proud to have been chosen as the guidance of the talented boy.

"Of course, I'll guide you. You have the right to choose anyone" he said.

Joe laughed at Samuel's reaction.

"Are you satisfied, Joe" said Samuel, who sat back in his chair. He pulled the knot of his tie while sighing.

"Yes.. okay. Wait for our call for the beginning of your quarantine."

Leonard immediately tidied the violin and bow back into the hardcase he stored in the corner of the room.

Leonard walked out of the audition room with a faint smile. He came to Lia who was anxiously waiting for him outside.

Without a word, Lia simply stared at the face of her beloved little boy. The face that always looks happy smiles. A face that always makes his days happy.

The boy approached and hugged the mother's waist so emotionally.

"Darling, are you okay?" ask Lia.

"I'm perfectly fine, mommy. Even I was welcomed to the next round" said the little boy.

"Of course, honey. They can't possibly reject you" said Lia, caressing her son's head "you're a smart and talented boy. Mami's so proud of you, son."

Samuel passed in front of him. For a moment, their eyes looked at each other. There is a subtle shiver in Lia's heart to see the figure of the man who once filled her day, even if only last night.

His memory returned that night. The night of his graduation party. How foolish he was, had made him regret.

^^^Ah-c not. Leonard's not a regrettable thing. My son is something I am very grateful for. He is a gift to me. He is the miracle I have. I love my son more than myself.^^^

Lia stepped her feet cheerfully, drawing her son's face which always gave him sweet surprises throughout his presence in the world.
