My boy, I Love You

My boy, I Love You
Chapter 54. Night Snaps

"It's like looking at a portrait of myself when I was a kid. I felt strange, like something was bothering me. On the other hand I was amazed at the ability he had."

The man laughed, "You know, my colleagues gave me silly questions and statements because of this resemblance."

He rubbed the liquid in the corner of his eye. My tears are full of happiness. "I never thought he was really my own son. A sweet surprise, dear," he softened as he peeked at his wife's forehead.

Lia hugged her husband. At least this family has returned intact. I hope no more trials come to him.

Leon held the hands of his parents, occasionally swinging their hands. They walked on the soft sand of the beach barefoot. The waves are heard rolling towards the beach.

Sam and Lia were sitting on that white stretch of fine sand. They stared at the rolling waves as if racing towards the beach. Watching Black and Leon running around in pursuit with the bubbly waves.

They enjoy the setting of the sun on the western horizon. Staring at the beauty of the reddish-colored sky with its beautiful reflection in the open ocean.

Lia rested her head on her husband's shoulder. "If time could stop, I'd like to enjoy this atmosphere longer."

Sam looked at the face beside him. "Darguably, I can't stop time. But I promise you, it'll create this kind of atmosphere for you as often as possible."

They stared at the beautiful twilight color bursts until the presence of the little boy began to tease. "Daddy, are we leaving now?"

They left the beach, walking along the road to a row of shops along the Kuta beach. Black looks happy with Leon. Walk hand in hand and laugh together.

Stopping at a gelatto stand, they enjoy the sweetness of ice cream in their hands. So many people pass by from all kinds of countries.

The sky started to darken, the lights started to light up. The atmosphere along the road was getting crowded. The street vendors, the children of souvenir sellers to the sound of music that began to be heard in some places.

"Everybody has a favorite place. I think Leon likes the beach and the crowds. How's yours?" sam asked his wife.

Their hands are perfectly linked as if they do not want to be separated. It was as if no one would be able to separate them.

"I love solitude, I'm an introvert who enjoys my solitude more" Lia said.

Sam laughed at the answer. "Is right? We even met in a crowd, the Fienna Club. Did you forget your dance that night?"

Lia pinched her husband's waist. "It was just a graduation party with my friends. And it was the first time I tried to enjoy my booze."

"really? Ah--so fast. You were sprawled when you drank half a glass of wine." Sam chuckled in the light of the incident. "You even call me an angel. Is this how your husband looks so perfect as an angel?"

"Isa... Don't trust the words of someone who's drunk." Lia brushed off her husband's statement.

"Even the most honest statements will be made when someone is unconscious. When a man is drunk, he says all his true feelings."

"Stop flirting with me. Or you'll end up sleeping alone tonight" Lia threatened as she pursed her lips in annoyance.

Sam laughed amusedly. Anxiously he hugged his wife who looked annoyed. He dragged her into a seafood restaurant.

"It is less fitting if we walk on the beach without eating seafood. Leon what do you want to eat, honey?"

"You want to buy something? Alright."

Mall located on the coast was seen crowded by visitors. Some people seem cool to take a selfie and take pictures in front of him. The beautiful lights at the entrance were indeed worthy of inviting them to perpetuate it.

"Candy. Maybe some unique chocolate will be fun for them." Leon said the idea. He pointed to a shop with a large candy tree exterior in front of him.

"It's not a bad idea, Leon. Everyone loves chocolate. Buy some for them." Sam gave his son permission.

"I'll buy it for my heart's lover, too" a big smile burst from his lips as he walked up the stairs to the colorful candy store.

A store full of all kinds of colorful confectionery is really interesting. Leon chose two round-shaped brown jars. And a pink teddy bear in his arms.

"So 2 jars of chocolate candy and one teddy bear, Leon. One teddy bear for whom, baby?" samuel asked the boy in front of him while giving a card to the cashier who was busy summing up his groceries.

"Brown candy for two of my friends, and a pretty teddy bear for my mama." Leon smiled and pointed at his mother timidly. "Isn't this bear as pretty as mommy, Dad?"

Samuel's laughter exploded. "True, mami is as pretty as this doll."

Lia was embarrassed, she immediately pinched her husband's waist. "Ish. mama bear, papa bear. All right, bear family."

Sam and Leon laughed and compactly hi five.

"Can we take a picture together?" ask a mother to Sam. It seems he recognized Sam's face.

Sam smiled and nodded his head. Friendly serve them to take pictures. Black raised the plastic bag in his hand with a smile. He broke away to wrap a few cups of coffee from a coffee shop bearing the Siren face, a Greek mythological figure with a crown on its head.

We walked to where our rental car was parked while enjoying a glass of iced coffee in our hands. Leon walked while jumping around expressing his happiness. His grocery bag was thrown forward and back along with his tiny footsteps.

Suddenly a woman ran over and hit Lia's back. Beautiful woman with jet black hair shoulder to shoulder, with her skin white groomed. The woman fell on the sidewalk.

The woman looked extremely nervous, her eyeballs twitching uneasily like the sound of her hunting breath. Some men ran after him.

The woman held Lia's hand. "Help me, save me. They want to hurt me."

Lia looked at him with pity. Sam looks confused. While Black stared at the woman in her twenties with round eyes.

"Take the woman off. You guys don't interfere in our affairs." One of the men warned us.

Sam sighed. "What has he done that you hunted him?"

A well-dressed man shouted from among them. "Samuel!"

"Aleandro! You're that?"

The man smiled slantedly. "A long time no see."

The man named Aleandro glanced at Lia, "Your wife? Do you want to exchange it for my woman?"
