Because today is the weekend so Elena is at home. Mariana has gone to work, she has an appointment with the lawyer to take care of her case to be finished quickly. Elena actually handed it all over to the lawyer. He did not take part again even though he had to spend more money to pay the lawyer. Though he has not got the first salary but the money he spent already exceeds the first salary he will get later.

Jansen was still at home because his clock working as a building porter had not yet arrived. Jansen was in the room to talk to someone about something secret. The atmosphere in the house was quite peaceful, as Elena was in the living room and Jansen was inside the room.

Jansen is done, it's time he went to work. His appearance was quite okay, he should not look like a rude worker. He didn't even intend to bring Elena's bike for today. Just for today because Mariana said they wanted to invite Elena to a race.

Elena was still serious when Jansen approached her. The fragrance of the perfume used by Jansen distracted Elena so Elena raised her face and looked at her. Jansen smiled, because Mariana made her want to try to get close to Elena. There had been many women he approached and courted all this time and they were all so easy he got but the woman who was sitting was, like an expensive woman who was hard to touch by him even though he had a lot of money.

"Are you leaving?" elena asked who went back to check on her work.

"Not yet, in a minute, but how do you know I'm leaving?" Jansen sat down by Elena's side and took the book on the table and looked at it.

"I'm just looking" Jansen replied. He pretended to look at the book but he actually glanced at Elena once in a while.

"You're young enough, why did you become a lecturer?" ask Jansen. He wanted to know Elena further. Not only did she know as her lecturer and helper but she wanted to know Elena as a woman.

"I studied properly because I aspired to become a lecturer so I was able to graduate at my young age even I had earned S 3 even though I was young," elena said without intending to boast.

"Waw, it looks like the IQ you have is really good!"

"If not then I won't be able to become a lecturer!"

"Okay, I've lost to you!"

"It's not a game, Jansen. Do it right, not for others but for yourself. No one will take away from you what you've learned so you have to do it for yourself and do it right. At least do it for your ideals or for your life purpose!"

"I know and I'm doing!"

"Good, you're a man so you have to have a purpose in life. Don't waste your precious time because wasted time won't come back!"

"No, they actually supported my decision to become a lecturer."

"It must be great to have parents who support what decisions we want!" as he said that, Jansen's eyes glared. Had he had a father who cared and supported him, perhaps he would not have been a brat just to seek his father's attention.

'Why? Does your father not support what you want to do?" elena asked who had turned and looked towards Jansen.

"If he supported me and cared about me then I wouldn't be like this."

"What?" Elena turned and glared with a displeased expression.

"Hows it? I'll pay for it by being your husband so I'll bond with you for a lifetime!"

"Don't joke, I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon!" said Elena.

"It's okay, make me your future husband then I'll show you if someday I'll make you proud!"

"We'll see," Elena smiled and patted Jansen on the face. The young man was shocked but Elena had already moved from her seat.

"Show me and prove that you're serious about being my future husband. You have to remember one thing, my family doesn't accept garbage. I'll see how hard you're gonna struggle to keep yourself grounded and remember one thing, I'm not a cheap, lazy woman you can approach easily and then make a girlfriend!"

"I know!" jansen.

"good. I'm not preventing you from being serious!" elena said before she stepped away.

Jansen did not take his eyes off Elena. Didn't expect Elena to take the challenge from him. Isn't this interesting?
