Elena went awry because her father took a chair and sat down nearby. Though he wanted to talk to Jansen and the others but now he became awkward because there was his father let alone his father just looked at him expressionlessly like his father usually showed.

Edward raised one leg and looked at his daughter seriously. She had wanted to see Elena's situation but when she saw her daughter's smile, she was suspicious especially if Elena was contacting someone. Now he wanted to hear who Elena was talking to. Besides being curious about the young man named Jansen, Edward also wanted to know what Elena's relationship with the young man named Jansen was. He would not let his daughter get into a relationship with a man carelessly let alone with a man who could not protect her daughter at all.

He didn't need a rich man to be his son-in-law, all he needed was a man in charge and could look after his daughter, not an emotional young man with a lot of disgusting style. Such a young man was easy to find but the one in charge was difficult let alone one who could look after Elena.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" elena asked in a whisper. Elena even covered her phone to avoid being heard by Jansen.

"Do what? Daddy didn't do anything!" said his father with a flat expression.

"Can Daddy come out for a minute, I want to talk to my friends" Elena asked.

"Just talk, Daddy won't bother you and Daddy will pretend not to hear what you're talking about!"

"Please, Dad. Don't listen to girls' conversations I don't like!"

"Why? Do you want to talk to your boyfriend so Daddy can't find out?"

"Not like that, I don't have a boyfriend anyway so can Daddy come out for a little while. I want to talk to my friends. If Daddy is sitting here watching me with that expressionless flat Daddy expression, I'm being watched."

"Daddy is not watching, so just ignore it!" said Edward who still did not want to go too.

"Dad," Elena glared, but her father was indifferent. Elena's nature was not much different from her quiet and cuckoldier father.

"Elena, sorry to keep you waiting. They're all sucks!" said Jansen who managed to escape from the troublemakers who are still chatty.

"Dad, please," asked Elena but her father kept quiet.

"Elena, you're still there, aren't you?" ask Jansen.

"Wait a minute" asked Elena. He was about to get off the bed because he intended to go somewhere else so that his father would not listen too much. Honestly, he felt uncomfortable when he spoke to his father. Elena had just shuffled but her father had already moved from the seat.

"Daddy will talk to you later and that guy named Jansen, you'll have to explain later!" his father said as he walked away.

Elena breathed a sigh of relief, after this she would definitely be interrogated by her father and it was likely that her brother would also participate because he knew, she knew, they must be the fastest when it comes to men close to him, especially they already know about Jansen. Hopefully Jansen doesn't make a troublemaker when he's taken away otherwise he won't be able to defend Jansen in front of his father and brother.

"Sorry to keep you waiting" Elena said as her father walked out of the room.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" ask Jansen. Honestly, he was very worried about Elena's condition, especially if he did not know at all about Elena's situation after being hit by Anne.

"No, there's nothing. What about your situation?"

"That should be my question, Elena. What about your situation? You're okay, aren't you?"

"Of course, Jansen. I've been with my family so you don't have to worry about me."

"So you were taken home by your family?" even though he had guessed it but he wanted to be sure.

"Yeah, sorry to worry you guys. I also didn't expect that my father and brother would come."

"What's? So they're your father and brother?" shit, what an unpleasant first meeting.

"Yeah, it looks like my uncle called them that's why they came."

"Why? You didn't pick them up when they came to pick me up, did you?" elena asked suspiciously.

"No, I'm not going back there, Jansen. My adventure is over."

"I'm glad to hear it, prove it to me so I'm not disappointed."

"If so prove it to me. It starts now and if in three years time you don't come, then I won't be waiting for you anymore!"

"The three years you've given me, I won't waste it and I won't let you down!"  jansen.

"Good, where are Leo and Mariana, I want to talk to all of them."

"I'll turn on the camera so they can talk to you" Jansen approached the men who had been waiting for her.

"Elena wants to talk to you guys," the cell phone was given, they all instantly gathered to talk to Elena.

"Sister-in-law, what about you?" ask Mariana. They could all see Elena who was still in the hospital battered. Jansen sat behind his comrades and looked towards the mobile phone where Elena was talking to the others. Elena of course gave her advice and asked Leo to follow the person who would pick her up.

Three years, the time given by Elena was enough for her to prove herself. The first thing he had to do was finish his studies and then seriously pursue a business that he had been doing for a long time without anyone knowing.
