Chapter 14: The First Quarrel

Logan was in a hurry. He approached a phone in the presidential room, called the hotel receptionist and asked for a pregnancy test.

"Who did you call?" rania asks with a sumringah, joining Logan when Logan hangs up his phone.

"I'm asking for a testpack. They're bringing it here." Logan's face looks really tense.

Rania smiled unable to imagine if she was really pregnant. He kept stroking his stomach and smiling happily. What if in his stomach now there really is a fruit of his love with Logan? Rania looked at Logan who was still standing pacing back and forth in the living room. Logan looked completely displeased, instead looking very tense.

Not long after, a hotel maid came and brought the device. Logan gave it to Rania.

"You test now" said Logan coldly, his sharp eyes showing that he was angry.

Rania looked at the testpack Logan had thrust at her and then said, "Why are you, Yang? It's a very tense kayak. I can't wait to know the results." Rania seduces her husband.

Logan breathed in.

"You test first! I want to know if you're pregnant or not!" Logan's voice is rising.

Rania stunned. Logan's reaction was beyond belief. Highlight those sharp eyes back Rania saw.

"You.. Don't want me to get pregnant?" rania asked carefully, hoping that the prejudice was wrong. Shouldn't Logan be happy if she's pregnant? I thought Rania.

Logan looked impatient and said, "I just want to know you're pregnant or not. Can you test it first?!" Now he's a little screaming.

Rania became emotional, "Cock you're yelling at me?" rania snapped.

Logan rubbed his face violently, trying to ease his emotions.

The atmosphere became very tense.

"Now answer my question," said Rania staring intently at the husband. "When I'm pregnant how? You don't want us to have children?!"

Logan frowned even deeper, a sign of his anger peaking.

"No! You can't get pregnant, Ran! I'm not ready to be a dad!" logan shouted to his wife who was six years older than him.

Rania was stunned to hear Logan's words. Instantly he felt his heart as if it was being squeezed strong. So hurt.

For a moment they were silent.

Rania tried to hold back the tears that had been pooled in both her eyes, with a soft voice Rania said, "how can you say that? All this time what do you think if you do me the same? You just want to enjoy?"

Seeing Rania's red and watery eyes, Logan felt guilty.

"It's not like that, Ran." Logan tried to calm down, "We've only been married for two months. I really wasn't ready if we had kids. You still want not nearly a year we diem-dieman. Now we can just be together. I still want both of you to be the same. I want us to date first, make it hard when we first." Logan said trying to make Rania understand with his thoughts.

Angrily Rania grabbed the testpack that Logan was holding and then walked towards her room and locked the door.

"Roman! Open the door, honey!" Logan keeps knocking on the door, but Rania keeps walking into the toilet and sits on the side of the bathtub. Her mind began to wander, trying to understand her husband's thoughts.

For Rania to get married and have children now is a very good time, she is now 24 years old. If she is pregnant, her first child will be born at the age of 25. The age difference is quite ideal with his son later. But for Logan, getting married has become something very early done by him. Especially having children.

Rania begins to understand Logan's feelings. Marrying him 6 years older was already a tremendous sacrifice for a Logan. Supposedly at the age of just entering college, Logan can enjoy his time as a student. Follow various campus activities, spend time with friends, hold various events, and other activities.

But the youth of a Logan is not the same as his other friends. Logan never hung out with his college friends. Going to college only occasionally. All day long he must be in his office and complete his responsibilities as a leader who must handle work that never ends. Logan has never done anything for himself again. All his attention was on his work.

Rania looked at the testpack she was holding. Now he feels scared if the results are positive. He does not want a child, if the father-to-be does not want it.

Rania was curious and started to test her urine. He dipped the flat object in the urine he had been holding. His hands were shaking so tensely.

After a while the results showed up.

One line.

Rania is not pregnant.

His feelings are mixed. On the one hand he was relieved because in accordance with Logan's expectations, he would not be a father yet. But on the other hand Rania felt very sad. When Logan asked if she was pregnant or not, Rania had imagined she would have a baby similar to her husband.

Tears kept flowing down his cheeks.

After a bit of calm, Rania walked out of the bathroom. He put the testpack on the nightstand. Rania no longer heard the knocking on the door. He unlocked and laid himself on the bed, looking out at the window of the luxurious room. There's an eiffel tower out there. He should be walking around the tower of pride of Paris now.

Rania heard the door open. Logan moved his foot toward Rania who was lying on the bed. Logan sat down next to Rania. Slowly he grabbed Rania's hand.

A tear came back out of Rania's eye, and she quickly wiped it off.

"You're not wrong. No need to apologize." said Rania still looking towards the eiffel tower.

Logan was silent, and so was Rania. Logan kissed Rania softly, still feeling guilty.

"You don't have to worry, I'm not pregnant." a tear came back from Rania's eyes.

Logan looked at the testpack located on the nightstand on the side of the bed. A line is there.

"Ran, I don't mean..."

Rania cuts Logan, "I'm fine, Gan." Rania looked at Logan's sad face.

Rania got up from her lying position. He sat facing the husband.

"I'm sorry too, I don't know you. The wrong me can't understand your position. I should have known by being CEO and marrying me at the age of 18 was something really heavy, especially if you have to be a father now. It will definitely add a burden to you."

Logan hugs Rania, feeling guilty. Rania returned the embrace of her husband.

"You don't talk about it, Ran. I was wrong. I am not responsible as a husband. You know, I just thought of my biological needs without thinking that what I did could make you pregnant."

Rania took off her arms and looked at her husband's face. The face was still very young, typical of teenage boys. Maybe Logan is now a great CEO, but he is still an 18-year-old, how could Logan think of having a child? Even a few months ago, Logan was still wearing his High School uniform.

Rania grabbed Logan's hand and sighed deeply.

"Yes, "said Rania, "now we enjoy the first time together just like gini. You finished your college first, then we thought to have children." A smile on Rania's lips.

"Thank you, baby." Logan looked at the wife gratefully, "You can always understand me who sometimes still likes to be selfish. I will learn to be a better husband. I will learn to be a good father. Now I'm gonna think there if I want to do that."

Rania laughed at her husband's innocent words.

"Why are you laughing?" asked Logan who laughed to hear his wife laughing at his words.

"Honestly, I never thought at all" Logan said.

"Ih he said his brain was pinter, the general champion continued. Must have been your biological value bad." joked Rania tried to melt the atmosphere.

"indiscriminately. I always get 100 or A+ if I repeat or biology quiz. It's just a different practice, which." debunk Logan.

"So pinter doang's theory? You." - Rania grumbled, Logan smiled at her. He still feels guilty for Rania, but his heart cannot lie that he is not ready to be a father.

Rania realizes Logan is still feeling regret. He held Logan's hand and said, "This is the first time we've fought a marriage."

"Yes... I also just regained consciousness." Logan said in a limp voice.

Rania sighed, "The roads are not?"

"As for you" said Logan, glaring his sharp eyes back softly.

"But I'm so lazy?" rania asked who was now wrapping her hands around Logan's neck.

Logan did not react, now he felt reluctant even to just kiss his wife.

Rania approached her husband and put her lips on Logan's lips.

Rania feels Logan's kiss is not what it used to be. Usually it is very passionate and so dominant. Rania took off her lips that were still attached to Logan's lips, "a moment, Yang." then walked towards the bathroom.

"So the same testpack in the box there is this." Rania handed him a round object wrapped in aluminum foil.

"You want to try this?" logan asked, his expression starting to change slightly.

"When we want to have children, we should be doing it every time we use this" said Rania. Rania smiled rancidly, "We setok a lot ya."

Logan looked back at Rania with gratitude, as well as feeling very guilty.

Rania slid her hands behind the T-shirt Logan was wearing. Logan has not yet reacted. Then he unbuttoned the jeans that Logan was wearing very slowly. Rania tries to lure her husband's h*srat to return to her usual attitude. Moments later Rania succeeds, because Logan kisses his wife's lips intensely.
