Chapter 4: Surprise

Rania woke up to the sound of an alarm from Logan's HP that was so loud. The clock shows at half-five in the morning. Rania realizes last night Logan fell asleep after sleeping while hugging her.

"Gan, wake. The alarm sounds." said Rania.

Logan opened his eyes and realized Rania was still in his arms. He turned off the alarm and hugged Rania.

"A little while." Logan closed his eyes again.

"You're late." Rania tries to get up from her sleep, but Logan hugs her even tighter.

"Five minutes, Ran. I snooze the alarm." said Logan.

Rania hugged her husband's body again. It was so comfortable that I wanted to close my eyes again. But Rania tries to stay awake, she is worried that Logan will continue to fall asleep and wake up late.

Rani took off her arms and looked at her husband's face. His narrow eyes decorated with lentic eyelashes were still tightly closed. His nose is sharp and his lips are thin and pink. Rania still can't believe Logan is now her husband. Some time ago, they were still in a cold war.

For several months, while Logan was still a 12th grader, Logan was forced to stay away from Rania. It was not because of the status of teachers and students that separated them. Logan doesn't care at all, if that's the only obstacle between him and Rania then he won't give up on his relationship with Rania. But if it concerns Rania's work, Rania's restaurant, and Rania's father's work that is threatened with destruction, then Logan can do nothing but obey the wishes of his late father at that time.

But everything suddenly changed. The distance that had been blocking them was gone already. No more student and teacher status, changed to husband and wife.

Sometimes it occurs to Rania, is Logan serious and has thought carefully with everything he has decided? He was just an 18-year-old teenager. But he decided to marry Rania who is 6 years adrift on him. If Rania was young, Logan would still marry her? Is it because he is at the age of marriage ready so Logan forced himself to get married?

Although all this time Logan looks so thick with steel, with the ability and charisma he was able to replace his father to be the leader of the company. With her smart and intelligent brain she can always decide all sorts of important decisions regarding the company that is now entirely hers, Rania still feels worried, was marrying Logan at such a young age the right decision?

Both parents often talked about how difficult their early days of marriage were. Nindi and Rendra got married at a very young age and often fought. Getting married even for people in adulthood can be overwhelming, especially for an 18-year-old teenager. Is he too selfish to agree to marry a very young Logan?

"Ran..why do you see me?" ask Logan who has been awake for a while. Rania did not realize it because it was too busy with her thoughts.

"I'm waiting for you to wake up. Afraid you'll fall asleep and wake up late."

"I had a good night's sleep earlier." Logan squirmed his body.

"Thankful that's it. I'm really worried about seeing you continue."

Logan smiled faintly and kissed Rania softly.

"I'll take a shower first." Logan got out of bed and entered the bathroom.

Rania felt her cheeks warm up after receiving a kiss on her forehead. He immediately went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for the husband with a happy feeling.

This time he decided to make a simple and delicious breakfast. He prepared a few slices of bread and boiled eggs. Then he sliced some lettuce and cucumber leaves into small pieces, then put them together with a boiled egg that was ripe and cut small as well. Last time he gave mayonnaise a little sauce chili and tomato. Then he put it on the bread and covered it again with another loaf of bread.

Logan came out of the room in his suit. As usual, Logan always looks good. Seeing Logan in the morning wearing his tie while walking towards the dining table, became Rania's favorite sight now. Now she can freely idolize and admire the good looks of her husband.

"Ran's? Why are you smiling to yourself?" Logan was now sitting on their dining table chair.

"No. Gapapa." said Rania did not realize that since Logan came out of the room she had been smiling to see her husband. Rani also offered the breakfast she had made to Logan.

Logan ate it with gourmand. Suddenly Logan took something from his mouth. There's a fragment of egg shell there.

"Sorry." said Rania regretfully. She was very confident that this time the food would be perfect.

Logan was finally done with his breakfast. Rania escorts Logan to the front door as usual.

"I'll go first." Logan kissed Rania.

Rania nodded and said, "be careful huh. Working spirit. Don't forget to eat."

Logan smiled and replied, "Yes."

After Logan leaves Rania tidied up her breakfast dishes, read books, watch TV, and learn some of the latest kpop dances, then take a shower. While cleaning up, he thought about what else he would do today. Rania is so bored if she has to stay at home all day. Rania is not the type of person who would love to spend time alone, with HP or a laptop all day. Rania always needs activities to channel all her ideas and energy.

He also remembered the advice of a mother where a wife must accompany her husband in any circumstances. Logan yesterday did not have time for lunch, Raniaun thought to deliver lunch for Logan later at noon.

With the spirit of Rania chose some clothes in his closet, but he only realized he did not bring enough clothes when he came to Jakarta and there was nothing suitable to wear to the office. Rani decides to shop for some clothes before delivering food to Logan. He called Mr. Riswan, the driver who drove him to Bandung yesterday to pick him up.

After a while Rania is now in one of the malls in Jakarta. Most shops are closed. But there is a boutique that is open. Rani also entered the boutique and looked at the clothes that were there. The price is quite expensive but it seems that the price is quite reasonable so that he looks worthy to go to Logan's office as the wife of the CEO. She must look beautiful in front of Logan employees.

Rani also took a knee-length dress with three-fourths sleeves of broken white yellowish. He also bought high heels shoes and handbags with matching colors. He changed his clothes and put on it. After that he went to the toilet and put on a little makeup to make it look not pale. Before leaving the mall, Rania buys Logan lunch. He did not want to take the risk of cooking bad food. Raniaun ordered sushi of various types in one tray and then left the Mall.

From a distance the building with 60 floors was already seen so magnificent and awesome. Rania's pounding heart still convinced her that the building belonged to her husband.

Not long after the car entered the Logan Enterprise building area. Rania gets out of the white Alphard car which stops in front of the building lobby.

The lobby was a bit crowded because it was time for lunch. All eyes were on Rania. Some of Logan Enterprise employees already know the face of Rania who is the wife of their CEO. A guard approached Rania.

"Mom Rania? Mr Logan Victor's wife?" ask the security guard.

"Yes right, sir." said Rania politely.

"I'm sorry I don't know Mom. Welcome Ma'am to the Logan Enterprise building, how can I help you?"

"Want to see my husband?"

"I'm sorry, Mom. Mr. Logan had gone to the Logan Ritz Hotel, he was conducting an operational inspection. Mommy might want to wait for him in his office?"

Rania is disappointed that Logan is not in the office. Logan may also decide to eat at the hotel. He looked at the paper bag he was carrying. Regretting that he should have called Logan first.

"Yauda gapapa, sir. I go home only. Thank you sir." The security guard looks bad because Rania chose to go home.

Rania moved her feet towards the exit of the building. Just a few steps away, Rania sees Logan getting out of the black sedan car along with Davin. Logan walked into the building, his face very serious and still busy giving instructions to Davin. Rania gasps to see Logan as CEO. Everyone who passed by bowed respectfully to him. During this time Rania only saw Logan as a student, swimming athlete, singer with a beautiful voice, but this is the first time Rania saw Logan as a CEO.

Suddenly Davin looked towards Rania. Logan, who was looking forward, turned to Rania when Davin told her whereabouts.

Logan's eyes now looked at Rania, his face changed and walked a bit quickly towards Rania.

Logan hugged Rania in front of his employees. Rania gasped because so many eyes were staring at them.

"Ran, what are you doing here?" Logan took off his embrace.

"Surprise." said Rania smiled at her husband, and raised the height of the paper bag in his hand.
