Chapter 6: Flashback

"Mom, do you want to know what Mr Logan is about?" ask Fany.

"Everything you know." said Rania.

Then Fany started talking about his first encounter with Logan. When Fany first started working at Logan Enterprise, Logan had just entered Junior High School. It was after school Logan must have gone to the hotel to do training. Faris hires a tutor for Logan to study business. The tutor was a lecturer from a renowned University abroad. The tutor is tasked with training Logan to be ready as early as possible to become the successor of Logan Enterprise. As the successor Logan must be able to animate all kinds of work in the hotel, ranging from cooking, cleaning rooms, being a receptionist, delivering guests, to the administration, marketing, and management.

Logan was a very smart boy. He can always do everything well. During training, he was never absent and was always on time. All of his work was very satisfying. Until everyone was so impressed with Logan Enterprise's future successor.

Until the 11th grade, Logan changed. He became a rebellious boy. He never went to a hotel for training. Join a motorcycle gang, merok*k, drink liquor, do a tantrum, and others. He did everything to make his father angry. That Logan did because it turns out that during this time he and the mother often experienced violence from the father.

When he went up to 11th grade, Logan was getting fed up with the father's constant rude attitude towards Mother and herself. Just then, Logan meets with friends who exert a bad influence on him which makes him decide to no longer be a good and obedient child. Eventually he decided to fight his father and refused to become a successor.

Until an event happens. Carla, Logan's mother falls while fighting with Faris, Logan's father. Carla's head stumbles and causes her to go into a coma. Thank goodness Carla is back. Logan comes to his senses and asks Carla to divorce Faris. Faris finally agreed to divorce. Then they both left Jakarta and settled in Bandung, Carla's hometown.

A few months later, when Logan was in 12th grade, Faris Victor, Logan's father, was reported missing. Davin said Faris was overseas to focus on building the hotel there. All instructions regarding what to do regarding the company are provided by email.

But suddenly Fany and all the division heads were asked to come to an emergency meeting. In the meeting it was discussed that the CEO of Logan Enterprise had been taken over by Logan, who was then still a student in the 12th grade of High School. Fany and everyone present at the meeting had to keep this a secret. They had to sign a letter on the stamp to make sure they kept their mouths shut. They were not told why it should be kept secret.

Until finally when Logan graduated High School, all of it was dismantled to the public. It turned out that Faris had not managed the company from abroad, but he fell into a coma due to heart disease that he had long suffered. He has prepared everything if something bad happens. If he dies or is in a coma, the position of chief director should only be held by his only son, Logan. At that time Logan was very young and had the status of a student. Many people will not agree, especially shareholders. After that, everyone has to keep it a secret.

All the employees were surprised to learn that all the instructions given to them over the past year came from Logan who was then still a high school student. The instructions given by Logan feel very moderate and easy to understand, but still effective and efficient. The employees liked Logan's leadership style because it was very different from Faris's more authoritarian.

After that Faris died, and now the full reins of the company's leadership fell entirely to Logan.

Rania little by little knows what the world Logan has been facing. Rania was also more impressed with her husband. Although Rania now feels Logan's heavy burden can be felt too, because now he is the closest person to Logan.

Behind a tough man, there is a strong woman who is the driver, as the saying goes. Rani also intends to continue to support her husband to be more resilient than before.

For the next few weeks Logan will still have to be in Jakarta to complete all leadership transfers from his father to him. He was also busy moving headquarters from Jakarta to Bandung for a while. Because when Logan and Carla moved to Bandung, Faris built a 10th floor building for Logan so that he could manage his company from Bandung. This Faris did in anticipation because he knew Logan would definitely refuse to return to Jakarta. He also knew that after graduating High School Logan would continue his studies at Satya University in Bandung. If Logan does not want to return to Jakarta, then he will move Logan Enterprise to Bandung for the sake of the son.

Even though Faris is no longer there, the head office is still moved to Bandung for a while, as planned. Because in accordance with his father's estimates, Logan did not want to move to Jakarta. He was accepted to Satya University. Then he will take his education in Bandung while managing his company. The division head and several employees will be transferred to Bandung for several years during his education.

"Sir Logan had even rented an apartment building for us, his employees to live there while we were in Bandung." Fany continued.

"The cost spent on the move is certainly not small, Ma'am?" ask Rania.

"Rubber, Ma. The costs incurred are very much. But it is also an investment. Because the 10-story building that has been built, if the headquarters has been returned here, it can be rented or sold to companies that really need it."

"Oh that. I as a person who does not really understand business is unthinkable at all. I am still in shock and do not believe that I am now a wife of Logan Victor." said Rania, shaking her head.

Fany smiled at the wife of his boss, "Surely, Mom. Suddenly I now have to be the wife of the CEO of a company as big as Logan Enterprise, must be a mother is very shocked.
