Chapter 41: Three Months

The days of Rania and Logan felt so strange and cold. Ever since Logan found out about Rania's pregnancy their days were not the same anymore. Every morning as usual Rania prepared breakfast for the two of them. Before starting their activities breakfast first. But no more casual chatter, kisses and warm hugs before parting ways. Logan would go straight to his office without any sweet words like he used to. He just left.

As well as returning home from work, Logan will have dinner as usual. But there is no longer a husband and wife ritual that is usually never missed by him. After eating Logan would clean himself up and lock himself in his study. She rarely sleeps in the room with Rania.

It continued for weeks. That day it was time to check the contents. After returning from college he went alone to the doctor's clinic Ane. Rania feels more comfortable coming there because it does not invite as much attention as if seeing doctor Ane in the hospital.

Rania opened her HP, waiting for her turn. That day was a bit crowded. Suddenly a voice greeted him.

"Ran?" Rania looked up and saw Nindi and Nabil there.

Seeing her parents there, Rania immediately couldn't hold back her tears. His eyes were immediately inundated with water, but he tried to keep him from falling let alone being seen by Nindi and Nabil.  He hugged his mother who he hadn't seen in a long time. Since that incident, Rania always said that Logan was busy, so he could not visit his house or his mother.

"What are you doing here, son?" ask Nindi curiously. Didn't expect to meet Rania here at all.

"You alone, Ran? Which logan?" ask Nabil.

Rania tight. He even shifted the subject, "Mama same father what? Mama's not pregnant, is she?"

"No, Son. You know for yourself the age of your mother is not young anymore. So you want to check, you can still not get pregnant" said Nindi with a sad face.

Rania feels sad. Both parents are now so yearning for a child, but she is now alone in checking her pregnancy because her own husband does not want the fetus she contains.

"Dad doesn't matter if your mom can't get pregnant again, Ran." said Nabil sincerely.

"It can't be dong, Mom. I was waiting to have a grandchild. Same mother I really want to have grandchildren from Mas." Nindi looks very sad.

Rania holds the mother's hand, "Mama can do it. Mama should spirit dong. Rania wants a sister too! Mama same dad should keep trying." Rania gives her mother a boost.

"Mother Rania Princess Direndra," a nurse called Rania. Nindi was surprised.

"Same Dad's coming, yuk!" rania tried to be cheerful.

They entered the examination room.

"Good afternoon, Miss Rania. How are you?" Doctor Ane approaches Rania and performs a 'chipika-cipiki'.

"Good, Doc. What's the doctor himself?" rania asked as she sat in the chair in front of Ane's doctor's desk.

"I'm good, Mom. Who is this?" asked Doctor Ane looking towards Nindi and Nabil.

"Know, Doc. This is my mother, and this is my father." Doctor Ane looks a little surprised at how young Nindi is let alone Nabil.

"No need to be in shock, Doc." joked Rania.

"Ouch, Sorry. I don't believe that her mother Bu Rania is this young. It's beautiful, like a sister." said Doctor Ane wrongly.

"I'm the same as my son is indeed the difference of only 15 years, Doc." said Nindi while embracing Rania.

"Oh so." Doctor Ane nodded in understanding, "And her father Bu Rania is also very young huh. Worth the Rani is also this beautiful, from the father and mother apparently."

"This is my father, Doc. It was only 8 years different with me." said Rania.

"Oh yeah?" Doctor Ane was again surprised, "I'm sorry I was so surprised."

After checking the contents of the three of them went to a restaurant, decided to have dinner together. Many things they really want to talk about, especially the pregnancy of Rania who has stepped on the third month.
