Chapter 18 - Love Poem

Love is not always sweet

It may be spicy, salty, savory, even

Bitterer

The Summer 2015

My feet stepped into the PE building. The commotion made me pause for a moment in front of Gu Boy's studio door. I put my head in to see the situation inside. There's Min-wook, Dae Ho and Hyun Sik. Min-wook with his high tone forced Hyun Sik to use his lyrics, Hyun Sik frowned looking at the contents of the paper in his hand, while Dae Ho sat observing a different paper while several times doodling the paper in front of him.

“This is more suitable to be a poem than a song, maybe we can include this for the narrative in front of the song,” said Hyun Sik.

“Yes! I want to sing this song! Last night for me to work on these lyrics!” Min-wook yelled in no way.

“Ya!” Dae Ho exclaimed closer at them then threw the paper in his hand at the table in front of them.

“Yes…. Dae Ho Hyung is always the best!” Hyun Sik exclaimed as he read Dae Ho's paper.

“Good Love Poem song is done, we record tomorrow Hyung!” Dae Ho then sat back on the sofa of the room. I left without a sound. I don't think they even realized I was in that room.

August 2018

The song with Min-wook's improved lyrics Dae Ho was later titled Crisis. Somehow the story of the song that was originally titled Love Poem became Crisis. I am currently sitting on one of the stands. The Jamsil Olympic Stadium. A magnificent place I never thought that the seven men would be holding a concert here. They are no longer a small boy band. The stadium is a sign of one of its signs. Whatever they do will be seen by millions of people.

“Life is not always beautiful. Sometimes there is a crisis that hits our lives but not all crises will destroy us. Some crises come to strengthen even be the reason we want to see tomorrow.” Min-wook. The song Crisis continued and then ended beautifully.

I didn't go home right after the concert. Gu Boy's manager, Jae Eun-ssi, came up to me and led me to Gu Boy's room. I think this is where the member keeps his personal belongings, clearly visible from a messy place. Just for information, usually they ask 2 different rooms to meet with acquaintances and where they rest. The place I am at right now is clearly their resting place. Damnit damnit! I'll be here long. There are a lot of people to meet after the concert is over.

I threw myself on one of those sofas. An ash scarf on the coffee table caught my attention. The M-w initials are caught in the sense of sight. It must be Min-wook's. This scarf looks worn. I still remember that the original color was darker than what I was holding right now. I think Min-wook wears it too often. I leaned my body against the sofa until I fell asleep.

The noise pulled me back to the real world. The maknae line face was my first sight when I opened my eyes. I smiled to see the three of them. The three retreated as I rose from my sleeping position.

“It looks like Nuna has been waiting here for a long time,” Eun Hyuk said.

“Why is Nuna here?” Ask Dae Ho

“Of course to meet us!” Excited Il Hoon then hugged me at a glance. My eyes keep looking for Min-wook. The nose shaft is not visible even the staff has entered this room.

“Where's Min-wook?” I asked to whisper to Hyun Sik.

“He is still in another room meeting with his family,” Hyun Sik replied as he whispered. I sniffed then forced a smile. I sat for a long time but Min-wook didn't show up either. Lee Ji Ah, my manager came in to pick me up. I went back to breathing tired. With heavy weight I rise from where I sit and then say goodbye to the other members. Hyun-sik held me down and pulled out an album of theirs from behind the jacket he was wearing.
