Chapter 3 - A sight of him

Rose POVs

Finally I can go home to the hotel after yesterday treated for 1 day. Wen drove me to the hotel. I still haven't told you about my dreams that afternoon. If I told her that, she would definitely be scared and worried excessively.

Aw, yeah!

Earlier on the way to the hotel, we had talked about the continuation of Firstin company which lost 2 important people, namely, its CEO and personal assistant.

Revon never had anyone close to him. But all managers do not want to recruit a new CEO because it is very unlikely, it takes an official letter from the previous CEO containing the handover.

I also told Wen that I want to resign tomorrow. Here I have too many memories of Revon and there is also that dangerous man who can come to me at any time. I'd better go back to my hometown of New York to calm my soul a little.

Wen disagreed with my decision, as I have built a good career here.

Where's she? Does her disappearance have anything to do with this whole thing? Do I have to find him? But I've tried calling him and he's always been off the hook.

My mind is terrified of all the questions that remain unsolved. Unconsciously I fell asleep.

This morning Rose delivered a letter of resignation to the manager who handled the employment contract. But when Rose just entered the lobby, she immediately stopped and hid behind the wall. There's a mysterious man who's met him at the hotel.

"What's he doing here?" rose was worried.

They climbed into the elevator and headed to the 60th floor. That's the floor where the CEO's office is. Rose was curious and I went up to the 60th floor afterwards.

When in the elevator he was thinking about various possibilities in his head. A few minutes later, the elevator door opened and he stepped slowly through the corridor.

While going through the meeting room whose side was made of thick transparent glass, Rose saw the man talking something to the manager. But he did not hear their conversation.

Suddenly, the man looked towards her. The man smiled and approached her outside.

"Lake in!" the man ordered while opening the door for her.

Rose was reluctant to enter. He was afraid of what the man would do later if he entered.

"Come, Rose! Don't let me drag you in" said the man with a sharp look.

By force, Rose entered the meeting room. After looking at the table, it turned out that the manager was typing something. The closer he got, the more he saw what he was typing. Rose was immediately startled and her eyes opened wide.

"Letter of office?" his murmured softly but was clearly heard by the man earlier.

"This company will have a new CEO" the man said calmly.

"What do you mean? This is not true. You are! you made a fake letter" Rose said angrily.

The man in front of him smiled smirk and leaned his body against the wall.

"Md. Hill, you have to stop this. You can get caught up in the law for the actions you are now taking. Ms. Hill?! You hear me?" rose said he tried to make the manager stop typing, but he seemed to focus on the laptop and ignored his words.

The woman tried to wave her hand in front of the manager's face, and her focus remained the same: on the laptop.

"Free. He only hears my words. Right, Ms. Hill?" said the man calmly.

Ms. Hill turned and nodded his head.

He tried to think of another way to stop all this. Because Ms. Hill was under the man's control. There is only one way. Damaged laptop.

It will take time to find another laptop. And when the man leaves, he'll take Ms. Hill's out of this building.

With a quick movement Rose took the laptop on the table and threw it against the wall until it cracked and the screen broke.

Seeing Rose's actions made the man board.

"You're looking for trouble with me, huh?" said the man and pushed Rose's body hard against the wall.

He pulled the woman's hair violently and made their faces look up. Rose could see the man's eye color change from brown to golden.

"I could kill you right now. But it's no fun if you die too soon. I want you to get into my plan" whispered the man before Rose's face.

"I know you're still dreaming of Revon, right? I can make you forget about him. How, huh?" said the man while giving open kiss to Rose's neck.

Tears slowly fell down Rose's cheeks. If Revon had been here, he wouldn't have stayed behind to see him like this.

As his gaze looked towards the corner of the room towards the CEO's office. There he saw the back of a man he knew. He was walking towards the room.

No way?! Is this really real? Is that really Revon? Think Rose.

Rose was all her might pushing the man in front of her and ran towards the CEO's room. His heart is beating fast. He could feel the blood in his body flowing rapidly. His feelings are mixed.

Arriving at the door, she pushed him firmly and immediately went inside. Rose spread her gaze throughout the room. But there's no one there.

"Revon? Are you here? Revon! Please don't mess around and get out now" Rose shouted as she walked around the room.

But there was no answer and only silence he heard. He stopped at a large table right in the middle of the room.

I just saw him come in here. His posture even his hair is very familiar to me. I saw Revon. But how can there be no one now? Am I just fantasizing? Am I going crazy?

Rose thought she was unceasingly working on answers.

"Haha. Have you gone crazy Rose?" the laughter of the man who had been in the room with him since when.

"out! Get out of here!" throw Rose away with a shout. Right now he didn't want anyone to see him like this.

The man looks comforted to see Rose now. This time he complied with the woman's request and went out of the room.

"It's getting interesting." muttered the man with a smirk smile.
